    Measuring students' creativity in Arabic speaking class based on project based learning model

    This study measures the development of creativity in a project carried out by students related to Arabic speaking skills. A qualitative method was adopted for the study involving 22 students divided into five FGD groups. The assessment of creativity through the FGD process until the project results is carried out by referring to the criteria and points contained in the rubric for assessing the creativity of the project that has been prepared beforehand. The results of this study describe the measurement of student project creativity based on the criteria of format, concept, creativity, spoken language used and the overall assessment of the project. From these measurements, it is known that students have average creativity in the design of Arabic speaking video projects. This means that a project can help foster a student's creative attitude, and help improve it, so it needs to be included in every lesson, especially learning languages such as Arabic

    Pragmatic thinking in the book of Dalail Al-I'jaz Abdul Qahir Al-Jurjani

    The solution to the pragmatic transfer experienced by Arabic learners can be found by re-reading Arabic turas using a pragmatic perspective born of modern linguistics. Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani's monumental work, one of the legacies of the Araby Dalail al-I'jaz turas, is studied critically with a naturalistic interpretive paradigm. It is analyzed with an intertextuality model to find its pragmatic thinking. Researchers used qualitative approach and the design was a historical text study. The results showed that Jurjani offers four pragmatic thoughts; first, producing discourse as ordered in al-nadzm theory, namely al-tandzim, al-bina', al-tartib and al-ta'liq. Second, the context offered by Jurjani uses the al-ta'dhiry al-tathbiqy approach, a blend of linguistics and ideology. The third is goal setting, and the fourth is discourse strategy. Jurjani combines linguistic and non-linguistic input in these last two cases and uses an argumentative persuasive strategy. Jurjani's offer when contextualized in solving pragmatic transfer problems is manifested in how to set learning objectives, design learning materials and learning strategies. The goal set must lead to achieving pragmatic competence. The selected material is in the form of functional texts. The chosen learning objective chooses language using a functional mindset to argumentative persuasion

    Creative teaching model for second language learning in the post-pandemic era

    Indonesia is currently trying to reorganize the education system post-pandemic by using hybrid learning system. In this hybrid learning process, lecturers are required to grow and develop their creativity. This article described the mapping of the model of second language teaching lecturers both English and Arabic at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang on creativity in teaching, in particular to find out how well they understand the concept of creativity and the implementation of creative teaching in the form of classroom activities. This method used was qualitative approach with the type of content analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 21 second language lecturers, then the data were analyzed using Krippendorff content analysis. The results of this study indicated that second language lecturers had a comprehensive understanding of the demands of creativity in this post-pandemic, because they can clearly explained the meaning of creativity both in ideas and in its realization. In addition to understood creativity and its implementation in teaching activities, this research also showed the synergy between individual creativity as reflected in professional teaching and organizational creativity as seen from the readiness of this university to develop students' creative attitudes through support for campus facilities

    This research provided the description of the application of the ADDIE model in designing Arabic learning on Youtube. The fact is that there had been many developments in Arabic learning using Youtube, but several Youtube channels that provide Arabic learning content in Indonesia had not provided more experience for their users. This caused users reluctant to learn Arabic through Youtube. For this reason, it is necessary to redesign it by taking into account user needs and available resources. This type of research is R&D with the ADDIE model. After going through each stage in the ADDIE model, the results showed that users of the Youtube channel for learning Arabic, who are on average 15 to 30 years old, had an instant character in learning, they don't like content with long duration, focused material and not too detailed, requiring a lot of presentation. practical examples, and want feedback and evaluation. Needs analysis showed that learners are more interested in grammar studies that focus on I'rob. In the resource analysis, the results of the identification of the feasibility of using a smartphone camera as a video recording device, Filmora as a video editing application and a Wordwall quiz application as an evaluation medium were obtained. The design produced by this lesson has a duration of 20 minutes accompanied by enrichment of applicable examples and a test link is available for evaluation materials. in the process of implementing products that are ready to be uploaded on Youtube so that they can be accessed in general. Learning evaluation is based on the number of viewers, comments, and scores on the available test links. The results of this study can be a reference for Arabic learning activists in designing online learning

    Penelitian ini mengulas berbagai jenis teks Arab dan signifikansinya dalam mengembangkan keterampilan linguistik serta pemikiran linguistik dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Teks Arab memiliki beragam jenis, termasuk naratif, deskriptif, ekspositori, dan argumentatif, masing-masing membawa karakteristik unik yang memperkaya pengalaman pembelajaran bahasa. Penelitian ini memperkenalkan keberagaman teks tersebut dan menganalisis bagaimana setiap jenis dapat berkontribusi dalam pengembangan keterampilan mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Pentingnya pemahaman terhadap jenis teks Arab terletak pada kemampuannya dalam merangsang pemikiran linguistik siswa. Melalui pemahaman mendalam terhadap struktur dan tujuan komunikatif dari setiap jenis teks, siswa dapat mengasah kemampuan mereka dalam menganalisis bahasa secara kritis. Dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa, penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana penggunaan beragam teks dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan menggunakan bahasa Arab dengan lebih luwes dan akurat. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan landasan bagi pengembangan kurikulum yang berfokus pada penggunaan teks Arab bervariasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan linguistik siswa. Penekanan pada pengajaran jenis-jenis teks ini juga dapat mendukung pengembangan pemikiran linguistik siswa, mempersiapkan mereka untuk berkomunikasi secara efektif dalam berbagai konteks. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan pandangan yang berharga untuk meningkatkan pendekatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan menekankan keberagaman teks dan dampaknya pada pengembangan keterampilan dan pemikiran linguistik

    Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kurikulum inovatif yang memberikan kebebasan kepada guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak usia dini. Dalam rangka mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, lokakarya pengembangan project media interaktif diadakan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru PAUD dalam menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada guru PAUD dalam menggunakan berbagai teknologi dan aplikasi untuk menciptakan media interaktif yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Guru diajarkan tentang penggunaan alat desain grafis seperti Canva, aplikasi video editing seperti iMovie, serta penggunaan alat interaktif seperti Kahoot dan Nearpod. Hasil lokakarya menunjukkan bahwa guru PAUD sangat antusias dan termotivasi untuk mengembangkan project media interaktif. Mereka merasa bahwa penggunaan media interaktif dapat meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi anak-anak dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru-guru juga merasa lebih percaya diri dalam merancang materi pembelajaran yang kreatif dan menarik sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak usia dini. Lokakarya pengembangan project media interaktif pada Kurikulum Merdeka bagi guru PAUD memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penggunaan media interaktif dapat menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang menarik, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan perkembangan anak usia dini.     Little Circle Arabic Learning (LCAL) to improve Arabic language skills and confidence

    Learning Arabic at the university level for non-language majors was still a problem, and it was still being developed. This research aimed to see how well the Little Circle Arabic Learning (LCAL) learning model worked in practice. Students majoring in Islamic Religious Education who are learning the native language at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang's Arabic Language Development Program (PPBA) were the subject of this study, which used a quantitative approach. The method of data collection were questionnaires and tests. While the data analysis used is descriptive quantitative to process the results of the questionnaire. The sample t-test is related to processing the test results. Based on the t-test results, this research indicates that the Little Circle Arabic Learning (LCAL) model effectively taught Arabic at the university level. There was also an increase in competence in students in terms of kalam, vocabulary, and translation. This LCAL learning model can also improve the ability to interact with teams in groups and the student's self-confidence. These components support students being able to speak Arabic

    Design and development of the game "Kitabah for Kids" augmented reality technology for Arabic language learning

    This research discusses the design of the "Kitabah For Kids" application to support Arabic learning for children. This application is designed to provide learning media that is interactive, attractive, and meets the needs of children. In the development process, the assessment of experts in the field of design and learning content is valuable input to ensure this application meets the quality standards required. The development model used in the development of Stanford University with the stages of empathy, Defining, ideating, Prototype, and Testing to design and develop the application "Kitabah For Kids" as a medium for learning Arabic for children. The validation results of experts show that the application "Kitabah For Kids" has well considered the aspects of Arabic Learning Design and Learning Content. In terms of design, this application is considered intuitive, easily accessible, and able to maintain children's attention through attractive interactive features. While in terms of content, the learning material presented is considered by the applicable Arabic curriculum, so that it can be an efficient and relevant learning resource. However, input from experts also identified several aspects that need to be improved, such as refinement of navigation, clearer information structures, and adding other interactive features. By paying attention to these suggestions, the development of the "Kitabah For Kids" application is expected to be an effective and fun Arabic learning aid for children
