    Membrane reactor is an alternative technology that is used in the manufacture of biodiesel, one of the advantages that the reaction and separation process takes place in a single stage simultaneous. This research aims to study the effect of the variation of the catalyst and mole ratio feed waste cooking oil- methanol in biodiesel production, transesterification process which was held in a membrane reactor with a variation of the mole ratio of waste cooking oil - methanol 1:12, 1:16, and 1:20, the concentration of the base catalyst 1% -wt, 1.5% -wt and 2% -wt, pressure transmembrane 2 bar and a temperature of 60 oC process. The results showed biodiesel production using membrane reactor reached 94.81% yield on the condition of the mole ratio of 1:16 with a concentration of 2 %-wt, characteristics of biodiesel produced meets the quality standards of biodiesel in Indonesia including biodiesel, densityis 850-873 kg/m3, viscosity cinematic of biodiesel 5.12-5.97 mm2/s, Flash Point 150-160 °C, Acid Number 0.55 to 0.64 mg-KOH/g

    Membrane reactor is an alternative technology is used to produce of biodiesel, one of the advantages of the reaction and separation process takes place in a single stage simultaneous.     A Study on the Ability of the Third Year Students of Man 1 Pekanbaru in Comprehending Spoof Texts

    This descriptive research was aimed to find out the ability of the third year students of MAN 1 Pekanbaru in comprehending spoof texts. The research data were collected on November 2016. The subject of this research was class XII Social 1 which consisted of 32 students. The data were collected by administering a test to the students in the form of multiple choice test. The test consisted of 40 items. Based on the research, it was found out that first: the ability of the third year students in reading comprehension was classified into good level with the mean score of 68,83. Second, the students' mean score in finding main ideas was classified into mediocre level with the mean score of 43, finding the factual information in event was classified into excellent level with the mean score of 93, factual information in twist was classified into good level with the mean score of 66, in finding the meaning of vocabulary was classified into good level with the mean score of 67,18 , in finding references was classified into excellent level with the mean score of 83, in finding inferences was classified into mediocre level with the mean score of 55, in finding social function was classified into good level with the mean score of 78. As a conclusion, the highest score obtained by the students was in finding factual information in event with the mean score of 93 which categorized into excellent level, and the lowest score was in finding main ideas with the mean score of 43 which categorized into mediocre level. It is recommmended that the students must do more practice and read books to improve reading skills, especially in finding main ideas, because the students got the lowest score in that term. Next, the teacher should have more effort to develop the students' motivation and encourage them to practice in comprehending the text. The last, other researcher are recommmended to conduct another research design about spoof text

    Biodiesel is an alkyl esters of long chain fatty acids derived from fatty material such as animal fat. A research synthesis of biodiesel from waste CPO(Crude Palm Oil) into biodiesel with a KOH catalyst. In this research review of physical properties (density, viscosity and acid number), analyzing the chemical content of biodiesel, the influence of the molar ratio of methanol to CPO(Crude Palm Oil) the percentage of conversion and optimal transesterification catalyst in the transesterification reaction in biodiesel synthesis. 300 grams of CPO(Crude Palm Oil), versus 1:14 methanol to oil molar, catalyst 1% of the weight of oil input into the biodiesel reactor and then the process of biodiesel synthesis performed on the operating conditions of 60 ° C temperature for 150 minutes. The results showed that the optimum conversion catalyst with 1% methanol 1:14 molar ratio that is equal to 85,45%. Physical test results obtained by the density of 888 kg/m3, 5,94 cSt viscosity, acid number 0.707 mg-koh/gr sample. Results obtained have characteristics approaching the characteristics of biodiesel Indonesian National Standard (SNI)

    Air peat surface water that has a dark brown, is acid, levels of iron and manganese is high and has a high organic content. There are negative effects if used directly and continuously without treatment. The aim of this study is to calculate the removal efficiency of metal Fe on the peat water and calculate the adsorption capacity adsorbent of banana stems. Variables used in this study is a variation of the mass of adsorbent 1; 1,5; 2; 2,5 grams and a contact time of 15, 30, 60 and 90 minutes. The maximum removal for Fe metals occur in a mass of 2,5 grams and a contact time of 30 minutes with the adsorption efficiency of 80,31%. The adsorption capacity is 0,027 mg Fe / g on the mass of 1 gram with a contact time of 30 minutes.
