Potency and Characteristics of Bali Cattle Twin Birth
Cattle twin birth is a rare occurrence that might be due to two factors, natural factors or external interventions such as the use of hormones. This study was aimed to determine to what extent Bali cattle were potential to deliver twin birth. Natural twin birth observation was conducted by survey method and data service while for super ovulation was conducted on 6 cows that never gave birth to twins. The Intervention method used a variety of hormonal preparations started with installing CIDR implant on day 1 to day 7 of CIDR removal of the implant, injecting 1 cc of GnRH hormone injections intra-muscular on day 9, injecting 800 mg intra-muscular PMSG on day 20, injecting 2 cc PGF2alpha intra-muscular on day 22, then conducting artificial insemination after lust symptoms appeared after day 24 applicated 3 times. Control treatments were applied on 6 cattle without hormone injection. Data were analyzed descriptively. The survey data showed Bali cattle twin birth in Bali Island was 64 heads of parent population in Bali from a total of 203,727 breeding or 31.9%, but cattle with hormone manipulation delivered 30% of the total treatment although no previous twin birth history was recorded. Conclusively, manipulation of external stimuli such as hormones gained good response although no genetic ever gave birth to twins.
Feasibility the Using of Coffee Waste for Bali Cattle Fattening in Bangli
In Bali, one of the important issues related to livestock development is the issue of feed. The farmers often complain because of high prices of feed that often do not correspond to price of product increase. One of the alternatives for the provision of feed that are cheap and competitive is through the utilization of plantation waste. To view the financial feasibility of livestock farmers is introducting of coffee waste research in the Belantih Village, District of Kintamani, Bangli Regency. The eligible criteria used is Net Present Value (NPV), B/C ratio and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR), followed by the sensitivity test. From the analysis it was founded that the addition of coffee bran into the feed (forage + biocas) of fattening cattle to include net income (year 0 up to 10th) against level discount factor (df) 12% obtained NPV of Rp. 15,079,587.91; IRR of 21% and B/C ratio of 2.62. In farm of fattening who were given forage just acquired a negative NPV of Rp. 14,547,191.50; 1% IRR and B/C ratio of 1.04. From the economic analysis, it was concluded that the using coffee bran is feasible to be introduced due to B/C1 compared to the usual management by the farmers. The sensitivity test showed that the beef cattle fattening are very sensitive to changes

Abstract
The superior of native chicken from Agricultural Research and Development Center (KUB) is a chicken selected by 6 generations. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Probiotic Bio L on production performance and quality of chicken eggs in the R & D Kampung Superior. The research method used was experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD). Treatment using 60 KUB chickens aged 22 weeks (Layer phase) Divided into 3 P0: feed according to the farmer; P1: concentrate (25%), corn (40%) and bran (35%); P2: P1 + Bio B 2 cc / 1 litre of water; the number of administration is 80-90 g / head / day. The results showed that the growth rate and egg production of P2 treatment were statistically significantly higher (P <0.05) when compared to treatments P1 and P0. Therefore, in terms of consuming P2 ration, it was the most efficient way of absorbing the feed given, with conversion of rations 3.44 was significantly lower (P <0.05) than other treatments. Likewise, with the chemical quality of eggs can increase egg yolk protein by 7.6% and reduce yolk fat content by 16.15%.</jats:p
