Pesantren and the Preservation of Islam Nusantara

This article describes the background of the rise of an Indonesian moderate Islamic understanding in the midst of a trans-national Islamic movement with the scriptural-puritanical in it's character which spread out pervasively in the country; and this new Islamic model is intolerant to local traditions. Meanwhile, historically, Islam Nusantara has been deeply rooted among the Moslems in archipelago, and this traditional-moderate Islam has been developed by Wali-songo. Islam Nusantara is accommodative to the local cultures and traditions. It produces a moderate and tolerant model of Islam. Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Bercirikan PBL Untuk Mengembangkan HOTS Siswa SMA

This research is aimed at developing mathematics teaching kit based on problem-based learning which is valid, practical, and effective to develop the higher order thinking of grade X students senior high school in their second semester, which consists of lesson plan and students' worksheet with test instrument. The research development used the model adapted from 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan with employing steps: defining, planning, developing, and disseminating. The tryout is conducted three steps: expert validation, limited tryout, and field tryout. The tryout subjects were teachers and students from two schools. The instruments used in this research were validation sheet, teacher's assessment sheet, student's assessment sheet, and test. The result of the research shows that the developed mathematics teaching kitbased on problem-based learning has met the aspect of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. (1) The result of validation shows that the lesson plan and the students' worksheet are chategorized as valid with the Aiken analysis showing the index for the lesson plan has achieved 0.69 and the 0.70 for the students' worksheet. (2) teh result of limited tryout shows that the developed of mathematics teaching kit is practical. (3) the result of field tryout shows that the developed of mathematics teaching is effective interm students's HOTS with percentage of clasisical mastery subjects reached 75%

Analisis Perbandingan Sistem Antrian Model M/m/1 dan M/m/s untuk Pelayanan Pbb di Dpkad Kabupaten Purwakarta

Research on the comparative analysis of single channel queuing system and multiple channel query system with 2 fasilties and 3 facilities. This study aims to investigate how the optimal number of facilities due to the large queues waiting for their turn receive services especially Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan in the Office of Dinas Pengelola Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Purwakarta.The analytical method used is the model M / M / 1 for single channel system query and M / M / S is used for multiple channel query system. based on the results of the analysis using the model found that the results of a query using a single channel system services Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan certainly not optimal due to the ability of the service itself 12 people per hour. On the other side using the model M / M / S found the average amount of time service during rush hour period 10:00 to 11:00 of 0:15 hours or can be 9 minute and an average queue length 1.0667. In contrast to the number 3 facility, the taxpayer at a busy period 10:00 to 11:00 can wait with a difference of only 0.0923 hours or 5:54 minutes and the number of queues waiting with an average of 0.1446.Suggestion research obtained in order to use the three facilities while maintaining the service with optimal. So that all service activities will not be interrupted and did not make the queue longer taxpayer

Islam Nusantara: Islam Khas dan Akomodatif terhadap Budaya Lokal

This article is mainly to analyse background of the emerging of an Islamic thought, that is, friendly Indonesian model.  This study has been conducted in order to address the spread of Islamic literalist-puritans-literalist-trans-nationalist massively and fiercely against local traditions. In this study, we look at the emerging a new Indonesian model of Islam, that is, the so called “Islam Nusantaraâ€. The Islam Nusantara is believed basically rooted from Indonesians’ tradition and has already grown in the early age of Islam in this country which was introduced by the Walisongo (the nine priests). Hence, Islam Nusantara should not be seen in suspicious perspective since it has been basically familiar with cultures and characters of Indonesian nation, which are moderate and tolerant ones. Moreover, it figures out the role of Pesantren institutions, and organisations such as NU and Muhammadiyah with their various characteristics, strength and weakness, are the pioneer of Islam Nusantara heritage and cultures

Rancang Bangun Alat Pemberi Makan Anjing/Kucing Otomatis dengan Kontrol SMS

Memelihara hewan peliharaan di rumah membutuhkan banyak waktu dan tenaga. Bagi orang-orang yang memiliki kesibukan sangat padat tentunya kegiatan memelihara hewan peliharaan seperti anjing / kucing akan sangat susah dilakukan. Sehingga dengan dibuatnya alat pemberi makan otomatis yang dapat dikontrol dengan sms ini dapat mempermudah para pecinta hewan peliharaan yang tidak memiliki banyak waktu luang agar tetap dapat memelihara hewan peliharaan. Alat yang akan dibuat ini memakai komponen elektronik berupa ATmega16, GSM Modem, LCD, servo, keypad, dan sensor photodioda. Komponen-komponen elektronik tadi digunakan untuk mendukung sistem otomatisasi yang akan dibuat. Alat ini memiliki beberapa fasilitas seperti menu pergantian nomor telepon, menu pergantian jadwal member makan, dan menu pergantian waktu pada alat. Alat ini memiliki kelebihan dalam memproses nomor telepon yang diterimanya, dan keakuratan waktu berbasis realtime yang dimilikinya.Kata kunci—Pengumpan Otomatis; GSM Modem; Kontrol SMS; ATmega1

Estimasi Citra Polarisasi Langit

Polarisasi pada langit memiliki informasi yang dapat digunakan oleh serangga sebagai navigasi. Polarisasi ini terjadi akibat hamburan cahaya (Rayleigh Scattering), Sinar matahari yang bersifat tidak terpolarisasi akan terhambur setelah melewati atmosfer sehingga cahaya tersebut menjadi terpolarisasi parsial linear, yang kemudian membentuk pola e-vector, pola inilah yang biasa digunakan sebagai referensi arah dari polarisasi langit. Paper ini terkait referensi arah dari polarisasi langit dengan mengekstrak informasi derajat dan sudut polarisasi, dan kaitannya dengan posisi matahari. Pembahasan lebih lanjut meliputi meliputi proses terjadinya polarisasi di langit,metode pengambilan citra yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengolahan citra tersebut, dan pengaruh-pengaruh proses pengambilan dan pengolahan gambar terhadap hasil pola polarisasi yang didapatkan
