    English is taught earlier at the school. It is still learned continually until in the university. But unfortunately even though various methods and approaches have been tried out to reach the purpose, the result has not been satisfactory yet. Especially in speaking performance, students still has low scores. This study is aimed to describe the implementation of Three Step Interview and to increase students’ speaking performance. Objectives of the study are to describe the use of Three Step Interview towards student's speaking performance and to explore the increasing of students’ speaking performance through the Three Step Interview. The study was implemented in SMK Kartikatama 1 Metro, especially class X TKJ 2 using a classroom action research. The writer took 28 students as the subject. The data was a qualitative and the source of data taken from oral test. It used observation to collect the data. The techniques of analyzing data were reducing the data, presenting the data, and verifying the data.

    Disabled schools are an opportunity for educational services that must be optimally emphasized and highlighted for children with disabilities, have significant implications for special/special education, and joint education centers or joint learning must have programs and systems, namely inclusive education, responsibility/accountability and learning accessibility, positive behavior and collaboration. Students with disabilities still do not understand and can get an education, because there are still many obstacles or obstacles related to physical human activity. With problem-solving methods as well as developing the ability to analyze and read symptoms critically every movement that can occur around. Behavior in children with special needs varies depending on the needs required, in a building and especially in architectural spaces can be realized by architectural elements. Designed based on the need for function and to accommodate children with disabilities to get early/basic education with future interests to be able to care for themselves. The role and guidance of parents is also expected to be a major consideration and an important factor.     Penerapan Metode Think Pair Share Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Mata Pelajaran Ipa Pada Siswa Kelas V Sdn 3 Gabus Kabupaten Grobogan Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Gabus Kabupaten Grobogan dengan penerapan metode think pair share yang menjadi subjek penelitiannya adalah guru dan siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 19 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, refleksi, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, metode dokumentasi dan metode tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan cara menganalisis data perkembangan siswa dari pra siklus, siklus I sampai dengan siklus II melalui tiga tahapan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil tes siswa dan observasi. Hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode think pair share. Siklus I siswa yang melebihi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 10 (52,63%) siswa. Pada siklus II siswa yang melebihi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) meningkat menjadi 17 (89,47%) siswa, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 36,84%. Untuk aspek penunjang hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yang menjadi indikatornya yaitu: 1) Memperhatikan penjelasan guru 82,21%, 2) Keberanian bertanya 63,16%, 3) Menjawab pertanyaan 57,90%. Pada siklus II naik menjadi : 1) Memperhatikan penjelasan guru 94,74%, 2) Keberanian bertanya 84,21%, 3) Menjawab pertanyaan 84,21%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode think pair share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Gabus Kabupaten Grobogan Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012

    Puisi lisan Tuja’i merupakan salah satu bagian dari tahapan prosesi upacara adat perkawinan suku Gorontalo yang disebut modutu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan makna, gambaran sosiokultural, fungsi puisi lisan Tuja’i dalam upacara adat modutu, serta implikasinya bagi pembelajaran karakter di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, perekaman, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puisi lisan Tuja’i memiliki makna yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai kehidupan, seperti kebersamaan, kejujuran, kesopanan, dan keagamaan. Puisi lisan Tuja’i juga mencerminkan gambaran sosiokultural masyarakat Gorontalo yang menjunjung tinggi adat istiadat, kekeluargaan, dan kearifan lokal. Fungsi puisi lisan Tuja’i dalam upacara adat modutu adalah sebagai sarana komunikasi, pendidikan, hiburan, dan pelestarian budaya. Implikasi puisi lisan Tuja’i bagi pembelajaran karakter di sekolah adalah sebagai sumber belajar, bahan ajar, media pembelajaran, dan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan kompetensi siswa dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik

    Pandemi Covid-19 bukan saja memporakporandakan Indonesia akan tetapi  hampir sebagian besar kehidupan umat manusia di seluruh dunia. Pembelajaran secara daring dan bekerja dari rumah dalam rangka pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kemandirian dan Dukungan Orang Tua pada Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa. Tulisan ini didasarkan dari Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa MTsN 7 Jakarta Timur yang berjumlah 617 siswa, Jumlah sampel penelitian merujuk pada tabel Isaac Michael dengan signifikansi 5% sebanyak 221 siswa, menggunakan teknik Proportional random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Disimpukan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh kemandirian pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, terdapat pengaruh dukungan orang tua pada pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap prestasi belajar, terdapat pengaruh kemandirian dan dukungan orang tua pada pembelajaran jarak jauh secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajar.Kata Kunci: Kemandirian, Dukungan Orang Tua, Prestasi Belajar, Pandemi Covid-1

    THE PREDICTIVE ABILITY OF EARNINGS VERSUS CASH FLOW DATA TO PREDICT FUTURE CASH FLOWS: A FIRM-SPECIFIC ANALYSIS

    This study evaluated the value-relevance of accounting information (earnings and cash flows) in Indonesia to predict a firm’s future operating cash flows. The predictive usefulness of earnings and cash flows in association with future cash flows is of interest for three reasons. They include providing empirical evidence on the relevant accounting information to assess a firm’s future cash flows, information about the behavior and properties of Indonesian accounting information, and evidence of – or at least providing a basis for evaluating–the validity of the IndonesianAccounting Standards Committee (KPSAK) assertion on the usefulness of accounting information to assess future cash flows.The study evaluated three cash flow prediction models that employed cash flow, earnings, and a combination of earnings-cash flow variables. The models were applied on a firm-specific data set. The data used in this study were semi-annual data for the 61 sample firms (manufacturing firms)listed in the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) spanning the years 1990-1997. The results of this study supported the proposed hypothesis that cash flow data provided better information to assess a firm’s future cash flows than earnings data. Since this study employed manufacturing firms only, future research is necessary to evaluate the robustness of the results to otherpopulations of firms and/or by using an alternative deflator of earnings and cash flows, such as consumer price index (CPI) or market value of the firms. Further extensions of this study include additional refinements of the prediction models on an industry-specific basis and disaggregating cash flow variables into operating, investing, and financing components in order to measure the value-relevance of the statement of cash flows

    MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI INSTANT ASSESSMENT

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan instant assessment dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran matematika.. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri I Kalitengah Kabupaten Lamongan dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas 7 C SMP Negeri I Kalitengah Kabupaten Lamongan. Ada tiga instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu (1) lembar pengamatan/observasi, (2) lembar questionare, dan (3) lembar test. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan dan angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif artinya gambaran keberhasilan dalam proses belajar mengajar diungkapkan dengan persentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I (66,73) siklus II (71,90) dan siklus III (80,97). Dengan demikian, penerapan instant assessment dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika

    Since a year ago, pandemic covid 19 has entered Indonesia, and efforts to reduce and control have been carried out several programs, one of which is vaccination. The ideal projection is two direct strategies: hybrid distribution that combines active outreach into priority groups with passive distribution to the general public and single-dose distribution to as many populations as possible. The previous plan was to save a second dose as a backup. The proper fulfillment of vaccination needs in each population required to achieve herd immunity to stop the spread of the virus will vary, depending on the variant of the virus in circulation and the heterogeneous level of that population, also depending on the density and mobility of the population. In addition, the duration of protection provided by natural immunity and vaccine-induced immunity is not well established, and different vaccines can provide different durations and degrees of humoral and cellular immunity
