    UPAYA MEWUJUDKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN MELALUI PARTISIPASI ORANGTUA SISWA

    Abstrak: Upaya Mewujudkan Mutu Pendidikan Melalui Partisipasi Orangtua Siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) ragam bentuk partisipasi orangtua dalam meningkatkan mutu pen­didikan, (2) strategi sekolah dalam memberdayaan orangtua untuk berpartisipasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, dan (3) indikator pencapaian mutu pendidikan yang merupakan kontribusi dari partisipasi orangtua. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, pendekatan fenomenologis, dengan rancangan studi multi kasus pada dua sekolah dasar negeri dan swasta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi peran serta, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan model alir dan comparative constant. Ada tiga rumusan hasil penelitian, yaitu: (1) partisipasi orangtua dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan berbentuk fisik dan non-fisik; (2) strategi sekolah dalam memberdayakan orangtua untuk berpartisipasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pen­didikan melalui pembuatan program yang menarik dan bermanfaat bagi orangtua, menciptakan iklim yang kondusif, pelibatan orangtua dari perencanaan sampai pada evaluasi program sekolah, penerapan prinsip transparan dan akutabilitas, berikutnya melalui intensitas jalinan komunikasi melalui berbagai media komunikasi; dan (3) indikator pencapaian mutu pendidikan yang merupakan kontribusi dari partisipasi orangtua meliput icapaian prestasi non-akademik melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, proses pembelajaran, dan kondisi sekolah.Abstrak: Upaya Mewujudkan Mutu Pendidikan Melalui Partisipasi Orangtua Siswa.     STRATEGY FOR IMPLEMENTING SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT IN THE ELIGIBILITY PROCESS FOR ONE-ROOF SCHOOLS TOWARDS STANDARDIZED SCHOOLS

    The presence of one-roof institutions has encouraged children to continue their education to junior high school. However, in reality, One Roof Schools still face many problems. Even though it can increase the Gross Education Participation Rate, it has not been able to achieve standard education quality. One Roof Schools must improve the quality. If it has improved, the idea of changing the educational unit from being a one-roof school could be changed to a standard school like junior high schools in general. To improve quality, one-proof schools need a School-Based Management strategy. This research aims to explore the implementation of school-based management. This research uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site type. The sites are SMPN Satap Waiwaru, Hamahena, dan Holoriang. The findings are the strategies used are Stakeholder Involvement in Teacher Training and Development, Use of Data for Decision-Making, Strong School Leadership, Focus on Student, and Continuous Evaluation

    Change Leadership in The Development of Digital Learning Ecosystem: A Case Study at Brawijaya Smart High School

    Digital-based education has become one of the important elements to enhance the quality of learning in various educational institutions, especially in senior high schools. Brawijaya Smart High School Indonesia (BSS) is the subject of this study. The purpose of this study is to describe how the leaders of BSS are leading the change towards a digital learning ecosystem. The research method involves data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis related to digital change initiatives in the school. The findings of this study reflect how leaders at BSS play a key role in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of digital education transformation. This in-depth study explores the motivators, enablers, and inhibitors of transformational leadership and the impact of change on the school's learning ecosystem. In addition, the leaders ensure that integrating digital-based technologies into the curriculum is effective, improves the quality of learning, and meets the expectations of learners and stakeholders. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used to uncover the facts in the field. Data analysis took place in three simultaneous stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion (verification) while triangulating sources carried out data validity until the researcher found the desired certainty. This research provides an in-depth insight into how change leadership in developing digital-based learning ecosystems in BSS can positively contribute to modern education's development. The implications of this research can also help other schools to identify the best practices and develop effective leadership strategies in this current era

    Pengaruh Tingkat Kualitas Layanan, Faktor Kepuasan, dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Prestasi Mahasiswa

    Abstract: This study aims: (1) to describe the level of service quality, the level of student satisfaction, learning motivation, and the level of academic and non-academic achievement of students, and (2) to determine the model of the structural relationship between variables. This research design uses quantitative research. The research population consisted of all students, which was 3,702. Sampling using a simple proportional random technique, through this technique obtained a research sample of 361. Meanwhile, for data collection using a questionnaire technique. As for data analysis using descriptive and correlational analysis techniques with Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of the analysis show that: 1) the level of service quality is in the sufficient category; 2) student satisfaction with services in the sufficient category; 3) students’ learning motivation is in the low category; 4) the level of student achievement in the low category; 5) there is an effect of service quality on student satisfaction; 6) there is an effect of service quality on student learning motivation; 7) there is an effect of the level of satisfaction on student learning motivation; 8) learning motivation has no effect on student achievement; 9) there is a direct or indirect influence between the level of service quality on achievement through student learning motivation; and 9) there is a direct or indirect influence between satisfaction and achievement through student learning motivation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mendeskripsikan tentang tingkat kualitas layanan, tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa, motivasi belajar, dan tingkat prestasi akademik dan non-akademik mahasiswa, dan (2) mengetahui model hubungan struktural antar variabel. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas seluruh mahasiswa yaitu sebesar 3.702. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik proposional acak sederhana, melalui teknik tersebut diperoleh sampel penelitian sebesar 361. Sementara itu, untuk pengambilan data dengan menggunakan teknik angket. Adapun untuk analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan korelasional dengan Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil analisis menunjukan, bahwa: 1) tingkat kualitas layanan dalam kategori cukup; 2) kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap layanan dalam kategori cukup; 3) motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam kategori rendah; 4) tingkat prestasi mahasiswa dalam kategori rendah; 5) ada pengaruh kualitas layanan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa; 6) ada pengaruh kualitas layanan terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa; 7) ada pengaruh tingkat kepuasan terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa; 8) motivasi belajar tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi mahasiswa; 9) terdapat pengaruh baik langsung maupun tidak langsung antara tingkat kualitas layanan terhadap prestasi melalui motivasi belajar mahasiswa; dan 9) terdapat pengaruh baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung antara kepuasan terhadap prestasi melalui motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

    Hubungan Kualitas Layanan Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Dan Kepuasan Peserta Didik Di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri

    Abstract: This study aims to describe the level of quality of extracurricular activity services, the level of student satisfaction with the provision of extracurricular activity services, and explain the relationship between the quality of extracurricular activity services and student satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research type. The population in the study were students in class X and XI at Public Senior High School in Malang with a total population of 7206 students. The sample for this research was using simple random sampling and proportional random sampling. The research sample consisted of 379 students. Data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques and pearson product moment correlation. The results showed (1) the quality level of extracurricular activity services was in the very good category; (2) the level of student satisfaction with extracurricular activity services is in the very satisfied category; and (3) there is a significant relationship between the quality of extracurricular activity services and student satisfaction at Public Senior High School in Malang.Keywords: service quality, extracurricular, student satisfactionAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kualitas layanan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, tingkat kepuasan peserta didik atas penyelenggaraan layanan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan menjelaskan hubungan kualitas layanan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan kepuasan peserta didik.     PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI ORANGTUA PESERTA DIDIK BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI

    Abstrak: This study aims to describe (1) the Go Application management process. (2) parental understanding in using Go Application as a forum for participation. (3) the impact of using Go Applications for schools and parents of students. (4) supporting factors in using Go Applications (5) inhibiting factors in using Go Applications and their solutions. (6) handling of obstacles in the use of Go Application. The research method used is qualitative, with a case study design in SMP Negeri 3 Malang. Data collected using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. As for data analysis using a single case analysis technique. The results of this study include (1) the process of managing Go Applications including activities from planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. (2) parental understanding in using Go Application as a place of participation can facilitate the work of parents and schools, the existence of communication, and parents participate. (3) the positive impact of Go Applications, namely that school members are encouraged to use IT, assisted the learning process, is easy and shortens the time. Meanwhile, for the negative impact, the implementation process requires time and the use of mobile phones that do not fit the corridor. (4) supporting factors in the use of Go Application to increase the participation of students' parents by the potential of the school which includes the principal, the IT team, teachers, committees, parents, and students. (5) inhibiting factors in the use of Go Application and the solution there are passive parents, busy parents and there is a solution in the presence of communication and coming to school. (2) pemahaman orangtua dalam penggunaan Go Aplikasi sebagai wadah partisipasi terdapat memudahkan pekerjaan orangtua dan sekolah, adanya komunikasi, dan orangtua berpartisipasi. (3) dampak positif adanya Go Aplikasi, yaitu warga sekolah terpacu menggunakan IT, terbantunya proses pembelajaran, mudah dan mempersingkat waktu. Sementara itu untuk dampak negatif adalah proses implementasinya membutuhkan waktu dan penggunaan handphone yang tidak sesuai koridor. (4) faktor pendukung dalam penggunaan Go Aplikasi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi orangtua peserta didik dengan adanya potensi sekolah yang meliputi kepala sekolah, tim TI, guru, komite, orangtua, dan siswa. (5) faktor penghambat dalam penggunaan Go Aplikasi dan solusinya terdapat orangtua yang pasif, kesibukan orangtua dan terdapat solusi dengan adanya komunikasi dan datang ke sekolah.     Efforts to Realize The Profile of Pancasila Students based on the Local Culture of the Tengger Tribe in SD di Atas Awan Jarak Ijo, Malang Regency

    Efforts to realize Pancasila Student Profiles based on the local culture of the Tengger tribe are a process of realizing students with character based on the values and culture that develop in a tribe. This study aimed to explain the phenomena that occur at SD di Atas Awan Jarak Ijo to realize the Pancasila Student Profile based on the local culture of the Tengger tribe. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of research design through case studies. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentary studies with snowball sampling. The research showed that SD di Atas Awan Jarak Ijo Malang Regency embodies the Pancasila Student Profile based on the local cultural values of the Tengger tribe by adopting the local culture of the Tengger tribe, namely Kasada, and Karo. The school adopted Kasada and Karo’s activities with a permit/dispensation strategy and went home early. Efforts to realize the Pancasila Student Profile are supported by internal driving factors, namely domicile teachers, culturally strong school members, and student awareness, and there are also external driving factors, namely support from parents, society, and technological developments. However, there are also internal inhibiting factors, namely students playing on mobile phones, and facilities, while external inhibiting factors, namely globalization, community environment, and per capita income

    Peningkatan Kualitas Madrasah Yang Berfokus Pada Penguatan Program Vokasi

    Abstract: This study aims to describe the condition of the quality of Islamic education institutions after implementing doubletrack, and the strategy and implementation of the vocational program at MAN Kota Mojokerto. The research method is a qualitative approach to case study design with interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this research are that the Vocational Program is held on the basis of 1) the allocation of the distribution of graduates is mostly working; 2) the issuance of a decree stating that MAN in Mojokerto City has been transformed into MA Plus Skills; 3) Provision of grants from the Ministry of Religion for the purchase of supporting tools for the implementation of vocational programs. The implementation of the vocational program is included in the school intracurricular so that students who take part in the vocation are class X students except X-E5 and X-E6 and all class XI from the Science, Social Sciences and Religion majors using the moving class method every Monday and Friday. The strategies carried out are forming vocational teams, collaboration between teachers, rigorous selection of prospective vocational teachers, increasing teacher competency, and partner collaboration. Indicators of quality achievement from the implementation of the vocational program can be seen from the increase in student achievement, increase in existence, and increase in student skills. There are factors supporting quality improvement through the implementation of the vocational program including: 1) teacher collaboration, having professional teaching staff, student enthusiasm, support from student guardians, committees, and the existence of working partners. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of availability of facilities and infrastructure and the ups and downs of learning enthusiasm from students. Keywords: Enhancement; Quality; Madrasah; Program; Vocational Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keadaan mutu lembaga pendidikan Islam setelah menerapkan doubletrack, dan strategi serta implementasi program vokasi di MAN Kota Mojokerto. Metode dalam riset pendekatan kualitatif rancangan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil riset ini adalah program vokasi diselenggarakan atas dasar (1) alokasi penyebaran lulusan sebagian besar bekerja; (2) pemberian SK bahwa MAN Kota Mojokerto bertranformasi menjadi MA Plus Keterampilan; (3) Pemberian dana hibah dari Kemenag untuk pembelian alat pendukung penyelenggaraan program vokasi. Pelaksanaan program vokasi dicantumkan dalam intrakulikuler sekolah sehingga peserta didik yang mengikuti vokasi yaitu siswa kelas X kecuali X-E5 dan X-E6 dan seluruh kelas XI baik dari jurusan IPA, IPS, dan Agama dengan metode moving class setiap hari senin dan jumat. Adapun strategi yang dilakukan yaitu pembentukan tim vokasi, kolaborasi antar guru, seleksi ketat calon guru vokasi, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan kerja sama mitra. Indikator ketercapaian mutu dari pelaksanaan program vokasi dilihat dari peningkatan prestasi peserta didik, peningkatan eksistensi, dan peningkatan skill peserta didik. Terdapat faktor pendukung peningkatan mutu melalui penerapan program vokasi yaitu: (1) kolaborasi guru; (2) memiliki tenaga pendidik profesional;  (3) antusiasme peserta didik; (4) dukungan dari wali murid dan komite; (6) adanya mitra kerja sama. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu kurangnya ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana serta naik turunnya semangat belajar dari peserta didik.  Kata kunci: Peningkatan; Kualitas; Madrasah; Program; Vokas

    Peningkatan Kapasitas Kepala Sekolah, Guru, dan Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah Dalam Mengelola Keuangan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi

    This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of school principals, teachers, and school administration staff in managing information technology-based finance. The location of community service activities is at the Laboratory Elementary School (SD) State University of Malang in Blitar City. The methods used in this training activity include material presentation, discussions, demonstrations, and assignments. These methods are integrated into the training strategy. The results of this community service are (1) the capacity of school principals, teachers, and school administration staff in managing information technology-based finance significantly increased after attending the training, and (2) based on the product effectiveness criteria, namely completeness, convenience, attractiveness and usefulness, the product is declared very effective.Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kepala sekolah, guru, dan tenaga administrasi sekolah dalam mengelola keuangan berbasis teknologi informasi. Lokasi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berada di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang di Kota Blitar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini antara lain: pemaparan materi, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan penugasan. Metode-metode tersebut terintegrasi ke dalam strategi pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni (1) kapasitas kepala sekolah, guru, dan tenaga administrasi sekolah dalam mengelola keuangan berbasis teknologi informasi meningkat secara signifikan setelah mengikuti pelatihan, dan (2) berdasarkan kriteria keefektifan produk yakni kelengkapan, kemudahan, kemenarikan dan kemanfaatan, produk dinyatakan sangat efektif

    Penguatan Nilai Karakter Disiplin Melalui Penggunaan Buku Kendali Peserta Didik (Studi Kasus Di Man 3 Blitar)

    Abstract: This study  aims  to describe the use of control books to control student behavior in strengthening the value of disciplinary character, the role of teachers in stenghtening the value of disciplinary character, supporting and inhibiting factors along with solutions to inhibit program implementation.  The research location is at MAN 3 Blitar. The research uses  a qualitative approach with a case study method that discusses in detail and in depth related to the topic raised. Datacollection through observation, interviews and documentary studies. To obtain accurate data, researchers check the validity of data in the form of credibility tests, transferability tests, dependability tests, and confirmability tests. From the results of this study, it is known that MAN 3 Blitar places student control books as behavioral guidelines and references in assessing student personality. This program applies a system of violation points and enforcement on interdisciplinary students as well as awarding and appreciating disciplinary students. Teachers have an important role, namely  as role models in behaving in accordance with the values of good disciplinary character and being supervisors of discipline, as well as being authorized to take action on interdisciplinary students. The supporters in the implementation of the discipline character strengthening program include 1) internal  factors including: the vision and mission of the madrasah, the geographical location of the madrasah, cooperation of madrasah residents, madrasah culture  and 2) external factors including: parental support, living environment, cooperation with madrasah partners.   Meanwhile, obstacles to program implementation include: 1)  Internal factors  include: awareness of students, limited facilities and infrastructure, teacher professionalism, and 2) external factors, namely the economic background and family background of students.  As a solution to overcome these obstacles, madrasah conducts student counseling, student visits, procurement of facilities and infrastructure, and coaching educators and education staff.Keywords: character value, discipline, control book, procedure, violationAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur penggunaan buku kendali, peran guru dalam menguatkan nilai karakter disiplin melalui penggunaan buku kendali, faktor pendukung dan penghambat beserta solusi penghambat pelaksanaan progam. Lokasi penenlitian berada di MAN 3 Blitar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang membahas secara rinci dan mendalam terkait topik yang diangkat. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumenter. Untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat peneliti melakukan pengecekan keabhsahan data berupa uji kredibilitas, uji transferabilitas, uji dependabilitas, dan uji konfirmabilitas. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui MAN 3 Blitar menempatkan buku kendali peserta didik sebagai pedoman berperilaku dan acuan dalam penilaian kepribadian peserta didik. Pada program ini menerapkan sistem poin pelanggaran dan penindakan pada peserta didik indisipliner serta pemberian penghargaan dan apresiasi pada peserta didik disiplin. Guru memiliki peran penting yakni sebagai role model dalam berperilaku sesuai dengan nilai karakter disiplin yang baik dan menjadi pengawas kedisiplinan, serta berwenang untuk melakukan penindakan pada peserta didik indisipliner. Adapun pendukung pada pelaksanaan program penguatan nilai karakter disiplin meliputi 1) faktor internal antara lain: visi misi madrasah, letak geografis madrasah, kerja sama warga madrasah, budaya madrasah dan 2) faktor eksternal antara lain: dukungan orang tua, lingkungan tempat tinggal, kerja sama dengan mitra madrasah. Sedangkan penghambat pelaksanaan program meliputi: 1) faktor internal antara lain: kesadaran peserta didik, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, profesionalitas guru, dan 2) faktor ekstrenal yakni latar belakang ekonomi dan latar belakang keluarga peserta didik.
