PEMANFAATAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN DI PONDOK PESANTREN SUNAN DRAJAT ‐ LAMONGAN

The purpose of this research is to elaborate of management information system at Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat. The research uses qualitative approach, with kind descriptive-qualitative. The methods of collecting data are observation, interview, and documen- tation. The data analyzed by process of reducing data, displaying data, verification and conclusion. The result of this research indicates that (1) management information system at Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat called center of data and information of management, (2) source information from level management and independent unit at institution of Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat. External source get from government, other pesantren, collegiate, and society, (3) tool of processed information diveded manual appliance, appliance of manual machine, appliance of electronic machine, and electronic appliance, (4) decision making depend on role and institutional mechanism, (5) to be more effective management information system unit should be under institution of pondok pesantren Sunan Drajat, because it will accomodate and delivere information for level management and independent unit at institution of Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat
