Radius dan Waktu Tempuh Studi Aksesibilitas Pedestrian terhadap Sarana Prasarana Umum
Abstract. The provision of public amenities and infrastructures are crucial in creating a livable housing environment as mandated in Housing and Settlement Act No. 1/2011. One of the commonly used criteria in public amenities and infrastructures’ planning standard is service area radius which draws as an imaginary circled line with the amenities as it’s center. The radius principles have a problematic application on the pedestrianly impermeable urban fabric. This research trying to measure several categories basic of public amenities accessibility based on traveling time, categorized in 3 (three) ranges: the direct living environment, the quartier daily supply, and the district periodic supply. The method used in this research is 2 (two) dimensional distance measurement of public amenities entrance to buildings entrance which located on its service area. Turangga Sub-district in Lengkong District, Bandung City is used as a case study. It is hoped that this study could give valuable advice on the planning and development control of public amenities and infrastructures provision in Bandung City by considering the walkability factor.

Abstrak. Penyediaan sarana, prasarana dan utilitas (SPU) di perkotaan merupakan aspek penting dalam upaya mewujudkan perumahan yang layak huni sesuai dengan amanat UU No. 1 / 2011 tentang Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman. Salahsatu kriteria dalam standar perencanaan yang umum digunakan dalam perletakkan SPU adalah radius pelayanan berupa lingkaran imajiner dengan SPU sebagai pusatnya. Penerapan radius pelayanan mengalami permasalahan ketika pola gubahan ruang kota (urban fabric) yang ada tidak memiliki permeabilitas yang baik terhadap pejalan kaki. Penelitian ini mencoba mengukur aksesibilitas dari beberapa kategori SPU tingkat lingkungan berdasarkan waktu tempuh berjalan kaki yang dikategorikan kedalam 3 (tiga) rentang, lingkungan hunian, lingkungan kebutuhan dasar, dan lingkungan kebutuhan berkala. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengukuran jarak secara 2 (dua) dimensi pada peta digital dari pintu akses SPU menuju pintu masuk rumah-rumah yang berada pada jangkauan pelayanannya. Studi kasus yang digunakan adalah Kelurahan Turangga, Kecamatan Lengkong, Kota Bandung. Studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan terhadap perencanaan dan pengendalian pembangunan SPU di Kota Bandung dengan memperhatikan faktor keterjangkauan dengan berjalan kaki (walkability).

Redesign of Taman Lansia Bandung as a Therapeutic Garden
Elderly group needs to be paid attention to while redesigning an inclusive city by improving their quality of life to achieve successful aging. The existence of elderlyfriendly urban spaces is imperative in promoting mental health and well-being in the scarcity of open spaces in dense urban environments. These spaces can help them to actively maintain health, physical and cognitive functions, and involve with the social environment. Taman Lansia Bandung is one of the thematic parks whose initial purpose was to become an elderly-oriented open space. However, Taman Lansia Bandung felt to be less and less accommodating to the elderly’s comfort and ironically provides more attractions for younger visitors to the park. This paper attempts to propose a new design for Taman Lansia with a systematic design approach. A site analysis was conducted to examine the spatial issues such as natural, man-made, physical, and perceptual attributes to develop the contextual design idea. A set of design principles and criteria are generated from a systematic literature review of case studies, related research, and technical standards on accessible design for the elderly and disabled. The result of site analysis and design principles are then formulated into a design vision of the park. A 3D-model was created to simulate the design idea and then compare it with the existing conditions with the photo-match technique. The result is a therapeutic garden that improves the elderly’s psychological comfort with a more ergonomic design, closeness to nature, and a multisensory impulse experience.

The Potential for Green-Industrial Development (Case Study: Ujungjaya Industrial Estate, Sumedang)
Abstract
Based on the Sumedang Regional Spatial Plan, the Ujungjaya Area is planned to become an Industrial estate. The planned types of industries are the manufacturing industry, textile industry, textile products and industrial engineering to support Kertajati Aerocity. Industrial development provides changes that have an impact on the socio-economy of the community, but on the other hand, it also brings changes that have negative impacts, including pollution to the environment around industrial estates. To prevent this, it is necessary to apply the green industrial concept, which in the production process prioritizes efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources in a sustainable manner. Therefore it is necessary to study the potential for developing green industries in the Ujungjaya industrial estate. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The analysis method used is the quantitative SWOT analysis. The results showed that Ujungjaya Industrial estate is in a Turn Around Position in developing the green industrial estate. So the Ujungjaya Eco-industrial development strategy is related to how to overcome weaknesses to attain opportunities.</jats:p
The Application of Tactical Urbanism in Public Space on COVID-19 Transmission Prevention
Abstract
Tactical urbanism (TU) is frequently used as an interim or low-cost solution to tackle a design-related problem in public space. As the importance of good-designed public open space for mental health now realized significantly during the pandemic, the need for a tool to keep health protocol followed in public space is imperative. The modification of public spaces is applied in several cases to guide people’s behaviour and interaction within public space under health protocol submission. This paper tried to analyse the application of TU to combat COVID-19 transmission on public space by using case study and systematic literature review from applied cases worldwide. The cases are categorized based on the problem identification and interventions conducted on urban design elements. It is found that the application of TU can be assembled into health protocol requirements-driven and accommodation of COVID-19-related policies externalities. The outcome of this paper could be used as an issue-based urban design precedent on COVID-19-related tactical urbanism interventions.</jats:p
Rethinking Coworking Space Design as a Self-Supporting and COVID-19 Resilient Community Center in Indonesia
PENDAMPINGAN RENCANA TATA RUANG DESA (RTRD) BERBASIS PERENCANAAN PARTISIPATIF
Perencanaan desa merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam pengembangan sebuah desa, namun faktanya masih banyak desa di Indonesia yang belum mempunyai dokumen Rencana Tata Ruang Desa (RTRD). Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan kepada Desa Sukamaju, dalam penyusunan dokumen RTRD. Pendekatan metodologi yang diterapkan adalah perencanaan partisipatif, dimana warga diminta untuk berperan aktif dalam penyusunan RTRD. Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan pada kegiatan PKM ini adalah scanning desa, Focus Group Disscussion (FGD) dan analisis Satuan Kemampuan Lahan (SKL). Kegiatan PKM ini menghasilkan dokumen RTRD yang terdiri dari rencana pola ruang, rencana pusat pelayanan dan indikasi program. Dalam rencana pola ruang lebih dititik beratkan untuk kegiatan pengihajauan, pada rencana pusat pelayanan ditetapkan pusat pelayan desa berada di kampung Madur Dusun 2. Untuk indikasi program pada bidang struktur ruang difokuskan pada peningkatan infratruktur, pada indikasi program bidang pola ruang difokuskan kepada pengihiajaun dan pada indikasi program bidang sosial ekonomi desa difokuskan pada kegiatan penguatan Bumdes. Semua hasil analisis ini dituangkan dalam dokumen RTRD
Design Visioning of Bukit Batu Eon Natural Tourism Area
The Bukit Batu Eon Tourism Area is one of the most tourism potentials in Lamajang Village, Bandung Regency offering the natural beauty and history of the Dutch Colonial Government era Hydroelectric Power Plant. Bukit Batu Eon is currently managed as a camping ground area by locals. Diverse potentials such as the Batu Eon site, reservoirs and power plants, open grass fields, and natural beauty that utilize Sunrise Valley views that need to be directed into an integrated tourism area. Here the design approach was carried out in a participatory manner with various community elements to envision the Bukit Batu Eon Tourism Area design plan. The method used is focused-group discussion (FGD) to analyze the site, resulting in a mapping of potentials and problems that lead to the formulation of the initial idea for site design. The results of the FGD were embodied in a three-dimensional site design, which resulted in the preliminary design of the Bukit Batu Eon Tourism Area.
