Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Dikaji dari Gaya Kognitifnya di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
This study aims to explain the Mathematical Communication Capabilities Matter Systems of Linear Equations In Two Variables studied from the Cognitive Style Class X Accounting I School SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak in the academic year 2015/2016. The method used is descriptive. Subject of research is 31 students of class X Accounting I SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. The research subject is determined through purposive sampling technique. Data collection tool used is a test, questionnaire and interview guides. The results of data analysis showed that 50% of students of visual cognitive style groups have mathematical communication skills good enough to very well. As for the group of verbal cognitive styles, there are 38.46% of students who received a good mathematical communication skills category
Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa Berstruktur Project Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri
This research is aim to produce student worksheet structured Project Based Learning (PjBL) which are valid, practical, and effective to improve mathematical commounication skills of students in learning statistic. The method is that used in this research is a Research and Development (R & D) which adepted the development model Plomp (1997). The subject of this research is XI IPA 2 MAN Model Singkawang which amount about 27 students. The result of data analysis show that: (1) Based on validator appraisal is mathematic lecturer and two mathematic teacher. Student worksheet structured PjBL is categorized as valid. (2) Based on respond and the using od student worksheet structured PjBL is categorized as practical to use. (3) Based on the activity and student learning outcames the use of structured PjBL is categorized effective for students. (4) Mathematical communication skill written and oral each student is about 75% and 81% categorized good and excellent. So that it can be condude student worksheet structured PjBL is deserved to use in the process of learning mathematics
Respons Siswa Terhadap Sajian Simbol, Tabel, Grafik Dan Diagram Dalam Materi Logaritma Di SMA
This research aims to: (1) determine the students' response to the presentation of symbolic in logarithms in SMA Mujahidin Pontianak, (2) determine the students' responses to the presentation of table in logarithms in SMA Mujahidin Pontianak, (3) determine students' responses to the presentation of graphic in logarithms in SMA Mujahidin Pontianak, and (4) determine students' responses to the presentation of diagram in logarithms in SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. The subjects in this research are 68 students. The form of research is descriptive. The data collection of the students response is using questionnaires. The results of the data analysis showed that the grade X SMA Mujahidin Pontianak: (1) student response to the presentation of symbolic is 47.5% include to the Very Low category, (2) the response of students to the presentation of table is 70% include to the Moderate category, (3) response students to the presentation of graphic is 39.33% include to the Very Low category, and (4) the response of students to the presentation of diagram of 45.67% include to the Very Low category
Pemahaman Konseptual Matematis yang Diajarkan Menggunakan Bahan Ajar Multi Representasi di SMA
The goal of this research is to know "How mathematical conceptual understanding is taught using teaching materials multi representation in high school Singkawang.” The results showed Learning to shape teaching materials based multi representation to improve conceptual understanding of mathematical, teaching materials multi representation can significantly improve the ability of conceptual mathematical students, proved dar III once treatment is (1) to change the representation of the situation into a mathematical model derived average a score of 3.40 or 85.05% of the maximum score; (2) changing the representation of symbols to graphs obtained a mean score 3.07, or 76.72% of the maximum score; (3) modify the graphical representation of mathematical symbols to obtained a mean score of 3.21 or 80.15% of the maximum score. research study by using multiple representations of teaching materials to improve conceptual understanding of mathematical able to resolve a problem with a mathematical concept known that the treatment I was on the aspect of high category. Treatment II and III in the category, is the aspect of high category, 80.15%, 80.15 and 79.41%
Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Multirepresentasi untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konseptual dan Kelancaran Prosedur Matematis Siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama
This research aims to develop modules based multirepresentation to improve conceptual understanding and procedures fluency students' mathematical on addition and subtraction of integers material on Junior High School as well as to explain modules based multirepresentation application in mathematics learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with 4D model. Subjects in this development research are grade VIIC students of SMP Negeri 7 Singkawang in total 29 students. The result showed that: (1) Modules form containing the activities observe, question, reason, try and communicate, which is presented using representations of verbal, visual and symbolic; (2) Modules based multirepresentation applicationin mathematics, seen from (a) Modules based multirepresentation implementationin mathematics learning carried out well, (b) The increasement of students' score with a mean difference of 43.1 who achieve learning' completeness, and (c) the response of students with a very high for the module as a whole, the material presented can be understoodwell, the module content responded well, language used in the module read properly
Pendekatan Problem-based Learning Serta Pengaruhnya terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan Disposisi Matematis Siswa
This study aimed to investigate and analyze the Problem-Based Learning and its influence on the ability of mathematical problem solving and mathematical disposition of students according to students' level of ability in grade XI Science program Senior High School (SMA) 4 Singkawang in the academic year 2013/2014. This is an experimental study in the form of one short case study and delayed test, and the research samples is 18 students were grade XI Science program Senior High School (SMA) 4 Singkawang. The research findings showed that the mean score in understanding problems was 11.44 of 14, the ability to plan the completion was 19.61 of 28, the ability to solv problems was 10.00 of 14, and the ability to recheck the results was 9, 06 of 14. There were differences in the ability of mathematical problem solving among students in the level of upper, middle, and lower after getting a math lesson using PBL approach. There were differences in the ability of students' mathematical problem solving in post-test and delayed test, a positive result of students' mathematical disposition, there was an interaction mathematical problem solving and the level of student ability
Mengatasi Hambatan Berhitung Mencongak Menggunakan Strategi Mental dalam Materi Operasi Bilangan Bulat
This iams of this research is to overcome the obstacles arithmatic computation students use mental strategies in the material addition and subtractionof integers. The method used in this research is descriftive researh. The subjects consist of 9 student on grade VII SMP N 4 Sintang. The subjects were given three meeting treatment on mental strategies that Aggregation, Wholistic, Separation and separation left to right. Before being given the students mental strategies many obstacles arithmetic computation as, amounting to 77,8% of students still rely on stationery and using the standard way, by 43,2% students are taken more than 15 seconds to answer a question and 30,2 % of student answered incorrecly or not answered at all. After given a mental strategy aritmetic computation the students better than, no longer rely stationery and paper by 10% of studets take more than 15 seconds to answer question and only 6,7% of students incorrecly
Pengembangan Pemahaman Konseptual dan Disposisi Matematis Siswa melalui Penerapan Pendekatan Problem Solving di SMA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis: (1) pemahaman konseptual matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem solving, (2) perbedaan pemahaman konseptual matematis antara siswa tingkat kemampuan atas, menengah dan bawah yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan problem solving, (3) disposisi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem solving, dan (4) kontribusi pendekatan problem solving terhadap perkembangan kemampuan pemahaman konseptual dan disposisi matematis siswa.Tujuan tersebut dicapai melalui rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Harapan di Kabupaten Landak tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang dari 3 kelas yang diambil secara acak (random sampling). Perolehan data pemahaman konseptual melalui tes dan dianalisis menggunakan uji parametrik sedangkan data disposisi matematis dikumpulkan melalui angket.Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui pendekatan problem solving berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman konseptual dan disposisi matematis siswa
Pengembangan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa dalam Materi Limit Fungsi melalui Pendekatan Saintifik di SMA
This research aims to develop the mathematical communication ability (KKM) students through the learning of mathematics using a scientific approach. The design of quasi-experimental used in this research. This experiment randomly assigment involving one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection tool used in this research is a matter of preliminary tests and final tests. The result anlysis of data show that, there are significant differences with 5% significance level between the development of KKM students with different levels of prior knowledge (high, middle, bottom) after each of them was given learning with scientific approach. The result shows that the scientific approach to learning mathematics in the top group produces gain KKM (11.19) is greater than the moderate group (6.06) and lower group (2.27)
