    A method for real-time detection of human fall from video

    In this paper we present a method for real-time detection of human fall from video for support of elderly people living alone in their homes. The detection algorithm has four steps: background estimation, extraction of moving objects, motion feature extraction, and fall detection. The detection is based on features that quantify dynamics of human motion and body orientation. The algorithms are implemented in C++ using the OpenCV library. The method is tested using a single camera and 20 test video recordings showing typical fall scenarios and regular household behaviour. The experimental results show 90% of human fall detection accuracy

    U sklopu ovog rada zami┼íljena je izrada web aplikacije koja bi trebala biti pomo─ç oko ispitivanja metoda analiza slike. Ustanovljeno je da je najlak┼íi na─Źin to implementirati koriste─çi open source alate kao ┼íto su Apache, MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS i Javascript te Ajax kako bi se moglo kasnije lak┼íe nadogra─Ĺivati, a i kako bi bilo pristupa─Źnije svima. Izra─Ĺena aplikacija zapravo slu┼żi kao su─Źelje u kojem se mogu korisnici prijavljivati i stavljati svoja rje┼íenja koja se kasnije onda mogu automatski s nekim drugim alatom testirati te pomo─çu izra─Ĺene aplikacije objaviti na Webu. Aplikacija ne podr┼żava samo kreiranje jednog tipa natjecanja koje ─çe imati sve iste elemente samo druga─Źije rokove nego mo┼że kreirati razne tipove natjecanja s obzirom o kakvom se to─Źno problemu radi, s razli─Źitim tekstom, slikama, opisom, materijalima itd. Upravo i takvom jednom op─çenito┼í─çu i jednostavno┼í─çu razvoja se otvara prostor za daljnja nadogra─Ĺivanja ukoliko se poka┼że da je potrebno dodati neke nove funkcionalnosti.For the purpose of this thesis a web application has been developed that should be of help in analysing image evaluation methods. It has been agreed that the best way to do this is by using open source technologies like Apache, MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax in order to easier maintain and upgrade the solution, and in order to be more user friendly. The developed application purpose is to serve as an interface for the users so they can register to a challenge and upload their results on the Web. The application not only supports one type of challenge which will have the same elements every time except the starting and ending date, but it supports different types of challenges, depending the on the problem the challenge is about, with different text, pictures, description, materials etc. With this kind of simple and general usage development there is space for further upgrades if there is a need of adding new features
