Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran IPA Berorientasi Model Pembelajaran yang Mengajarkan Keterampilan Berpikir Analisis Siswa SMP
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang mengajarkan keterampilan berpikir analisis siswa SMP; 2) mendeskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran yang mengajarkan keterampilan berpikir analisis siswa SMP. Desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4-D, yang terdiri atas define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran sedangkan subjek uji coba perangkat pembelajaran adalah siswa kelas VII SMP. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) validitas perangkat dan instrumen pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai perangkat pembelajaran IPA SMP dalam mengajarkan keterampilan berpikir analisis; 2) hasil implementasi perangkat dan instrumen pembelajaran yang meliputi: a) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran terlaksana dengan kategori baik, b) aktivitas siswa yang teramati sesuai dengan langkah-langkah berpikir analisis, dan c) keterampilan berpikir analisis siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 13%
The Effect of Distance Learning Practicum based on PhET Interactive Simulations on Science Process Skills of Secondary School Students
The condition of the covid-19 pandemic makes face-to-face learning become distance learning, learning activities from home are no exception to practicum learning. Alternative solutions using PhET Interactive Simulations. The research aims to describe the influence and great influence of PhET Interactive Simulations-based distance practicum learning on the science process skills of junior high school students. The research method uses quasi-experimentation with matching pre-test post-test control group design. The research population is grade VIII students of SMP Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo with a sample of 2 grade VIII, namely VIII H as an experimental class and VIII F as a control class of 40 students each. Research instruments use science process skills tests with 7 indicators namely formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, identifying variables and operational definitions of variables, assembling tools and materials, presenting data, conducting data analysis, and concluding. The results showed there is a huge influence between distance learning practicum based on PhET interactive simulations on the science process skills of secondary school students in natural science subjects. Further research increases the number of research variables, in addition to science process skills as well as understanding of student concepts to science, and so on
Profil Gaya Mengajar Guru IPA Menurut Persepsi Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Bi'rul Ulum
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan profil gaya mengajar dari seorang guru IPA menurut persepsi siswa kelas VII di SMP Bi’rul Ulum. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis survey. Populasi penelitian menggunakan seluruh siswa kelas VII (60 peserta didik) di SMP Birul Ulum. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dalam bentuk google form yang diberikan kepada peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Bi’rul Ulum. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya mengajar yang dilakukan oleh seorang guru IPA di SMP Birul Ulum menggunakan gaya mengajar secara klasikal dengan memperoleh persentase 69% yang termasuk kedalam kategori baik, hasil ini ditinjau dari indikator peran guru dominan dengan persentase 61,3% dengan kategori baik, isi pelajaran berupa sejumlah informasi yang paling populer dan dipilih dari dunia yang diketahui anak dengan memperoleh persentase 77% dalam kategori baik, cara penyampaian bahan pelajaran dengan komunikasi secara lisan memperoleh persentase 54,% dalam kategori cukup baik, penyampaian bahan pelajaran yang disertai dengan contoh yang konkret diikuti dengan pertanyaan memperoleh nilai 76,7% dalam kategori baik, guru menyampaikan ikhtisar yang berfungsi sebagai informasi mengenai bahan pelajaran secara garis besar memperoleh nilai 73,5% dalam kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa gaya mengajar yang dilakukan oleh guru IPA menurut persepsi siswa kelas VII di SMP Birul Ulum menggunakan gaya mengajar secara klasikal. Saran dari penelitian ini untuk peneliti selanjutnya yaitu peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengungkap fenomena lebih mendalam tentang hasil analisis data karena dalam penelitian ini hasil angket untuk gaya mengajar klasikal dan indikator yang diteliti mendekati hanya terpaut kecil
The Validity of Question Items on The Material of Animal and Plant Reproduction in 9th Grade Secondary School
In making questions, teachers are required to first carry out testing before using them. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to test the validity of 9th grade question items on animal and plant breeding material based on the validity of the question items. The research conducted used quantitative descriptive research and documentation. The subjects of this study were 9th grade. The documentation used includes a document grid of animal and plant breeding material and student answer documents. The analysis used was analyzing the results of student answers using the TAP 14.7.4 application program. The results obtained from this study are based on the results of trials on the aspects of difficulty level, differentiating aspect, exemption, reliability and validity of questions on animal and plant breeding material at 9th grade SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan showing that the items used are invalid. It is known that the question of animal and plant breeding material 9th grade at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan Sidoarjo in the 2021/2022 school year is a question that is not of good quality. In the development of further research, it is hoped that it will be further refined and can be carried out in a wider number with a larger population in order to get better data results
HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF SISWA SMP KELAS IX MATA PELAJARAN IPA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
Changes in the learning climate due to the Covid-19 pandemic, through online learning, have also influenced student learning motivation, even affecting student learning outcomes. This study aims (1). To describe whether or not there is an effect of learning motivation on science learning outcomes in grade IX SMP Islam Terpadu Darul Fikri Sidoarjo; (2). To describe how the contribution of learning motivation to student learning outcomes in grade IX SMP Islam Terpadu Darul Fikri Sidoarjo. The approach used is quantitative-non-experimental correlational method. The population in this study were all class students of SMP Islam Terpadu Darul Fikri Sidoarjo who took part in the learning process with an online or online system. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the sample being class IX-C students of SMP Islam Terpadu Darul Fikri Sidoarjo. The research instrument used was a learning motivation questionnaire and documentation. The analytical method used to analyze the data obtained in this study using the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the correlation value of rxy is 0.633 with t count greater than t table, namely 5.102> 2.002, which means that there is a relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes, with a contribution value of 40.03%. This shows that learning motivation is one of the determinants of student learning success which is quite decisive compared to other factors. Therefore it is suggested that students are expected not to ignore this by asking for guidance from parents and teachers, to foster learning motivation so that learning outcomes can be achieved maximally
Psychomotor Skills of Pre-service Teachers of Natural Science on Melde’s Experiment in Guided Inquiry Learning
This research aimed to describe the psychomotor skills of pre-service teachers of natural science on Melde’s Experiment through guided inquiry learning. Psychomotor skills were assessed by observation during students conduct the Melde’ s experiment. This research method used was descriptive quantitative in which the authors described the research variables from the collected data. The study was conducted on a pre-service natural science teacher who learns the Optic and Geometry Course. The data analysis uses descriptive statistical. The results showed that the psychomotor skills of pre-service teachers of natural science are categorized as very good in manipulation, good in precision and articulation; fair in imitation and naturalization domain. The lowest category of psychomotor indicators is naturalization. Naturalization is doing related activities according to the skills that are owned, a sample designing experiment with different variables. Different variables with the module make the prospective teacher’s students think hard to create the experimental draft, consequently, the experimental design and findings are not equal to the theory. Further research is expected to have a learning model that is capable of training better psychomotor skills
PERSEPSI SISWA TENTANG LINGKUNGAN BELAJAR DAN GAYA MENGAJAR GURU: HUBUNGANNYA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA SMP

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan hubungan persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA, 2) mendeksripsikan hubungan persepsi siswa tentang gaya mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA, dan 3) mendeskripsikan hubungan persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar dan gaya mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif non eksperimen korelasional dengan teknik analisis regresi ganda. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa mata pelajaran IPA, 2) ada hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya mengajar guru dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa mata pelajaran IPA, dan 3) tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar dan gaya mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Simpulan dari penelitian bahwa banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan belajar seorang siswa untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang maksimal tidak hanya lingkungan belajar dan gaya mengajar guru saja.

This research aims to: 1) describe the relationship of student perceptions of the learning environment to cognitive learning outcomes, 2) describe the relationship of student perceptions of teacher teaching styles to science cognitive learning outcomes, and 3) describe the relationship between student perceptions of the learning environment and teacher teaching styles to cognitive learning outcomes. The type of research is quantitative non-experimental correlational with multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed: 1) there was no significant relationship between students' perceptions of the learning environment and cognitive learning outcomes of science students, 2) there was a significant relationship between teachers' teaching styles and cognitive learning outcomes of science students, and 3) there was no significant relationship between students' perceptions of the learning environment and teachers' teaching styles on the cognitive learning outcomes of science students. The conclusion that many factors influence the success of be student.

A SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENT’S CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY PROFILE IN NATURAL SCIENCE SUBJECT MATTERS BASED ON LEARNING STYLE
This research aims to describe students' critical thinking ability in science subjects based on learning style. The research method uses qualitative research with phenomenological approaches. The research site was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan Sidoarjo. Data retrieval techniques using tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis techniques using the Miles & Huberman (2014) model include data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusions. There are 6 indicators of critical thinking abilities revealed that include interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation (Facione, 2013). The study only used 5 indicators of critical thinking ability without self-regulation, this is because they cannot be revealed in a short time. The results of the study found that (1) indicators achieved in visual learning styles include interpretation, evaluation, and inference, (2) indicators achieved in auditory learning styles namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and explanation, and (3) indicators achieved in kinesthetic learning styles namely: interpretation and evaluation. All subjects achieved not same indicators, while the all subjects also did not achieve all indicators of critical thinking ability. Further research is expected to be the efforts of natural science teachers in achieving all indicators of critical thinking ability, among others by doing habituation and consistent in training critical thinking ability.Keywords: Critical thinking ability,Secondary school student’s,Natural Science,Learning Styl
Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Fisika Berorientasi Model Pembelajaran Pemaknaan untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika berorientasi model pembelajaran pemaknaan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang direduksi menjadi 3-D, yaitu define, design, and develop. Uji coba perangkat pembelajaran ini dilakukan di Kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya, dengan menggunakan One Group Pre test and Post test Design. Kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan meliputi: validitas berkategori baik dan layak digunakan, tingkat kesulitan Buku Ajar Siswa dan Lembar Kegiatan Proses masing-masing sebesar 6% dan 7%, tingkat keterbacaan Buku Ajar Siswa dan Lembar Kegiatan Proses masing-masing sebesar 99,4% dan 98%. Sedangkan Hasil implementasi pembelajaran meliputi: keterlaksanaan RPP selama tiga kali pertemuan berkategori baik, aktivitas siswa berkategori cukup aktif, dan siswa merespon positif seluruh komponen pembelajaran pemaknaan. Juga diperoleh Hasil Belajar Proses sebesar 91,3; Hasil Belajar Psikomotor sebesar 95,4; Hasil Belajar Kognitif sebesar 84,2; dan Sensitivitas Moral sebesar 91,6. Hasil belajar ini meningkat signifikan dari nilai pre testnya. Berdasarkan hasil dan diskusi penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran fisika berorientasi model pembelajaran pemaknaan yang berkualitas mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dan sensitivitas moral siswa SMP
Pengaruh Penerapan Metode Eksperimen Sebagai Implementasi Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) Terhadap Prestasi
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrispsikan pengaruh penerapan metode eksperimen terhadap prestasi belajar siswa yang meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor sebagai implementasi KTSP pada materi pokok perpindahan panas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksperimental, menggunakan populasi dengan sampel 4 kelas, yaitu 3 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil dengan menggunakan uji t dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode eksperimen mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih baik terhadap prestasi siswa pada materi pokok perpindahan
