Pengaruh Penerapan Strategi Pemecahan Masalah dalam Pembelajaran Kooperatif Pendekatan Struktural Tps terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa Kelas VIII Mts Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru
This research aims to determine the influence of the implementation of problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperatif learning to the mathematical problem solving ability of students. This research was conducted in MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru on odd semester academic year 2016/2017. This is a pre-experimental research which using the Static-Group Comparison design. The population is all of students at grade VIII in MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. Samlples in the research involved two groups were selected by purposive sampling technic. Class VIII4 consisting 25 students as experimental class was implemented the problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperative learning and class VIII1 consisting 28 students as control class was implemented TPS structural approach of cooperative learning. The instrument of collecting data in this research is initial ability test and mathematical problem solving ability test. This research shows that average value of mathematical problem solving ability in the experimental class is better than the control class. It can be conclude that the application of ptoblem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperatif learning positively affect the mathematical problem solving ability of students of class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru
The Comparison of Diabetes Self Management Education Using Lecturing Method with Booklet and Whatsapp Group Method Against Self Care Behavior of Diabetes Mellitus Patients
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease that requires self-management education to prevent acute complications and reduce the risk of long-term complications. Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) can be used as an effective method in improving self-care of patient with diabetes mellitus when discharged from the hospital. In the implementation of education in patients, many methods can be done. The lecturing method is one of the most commonly used methods in conducting health education, one of which is to used a booklet. Another method can be used is to use the whatsapp group application. The purpose of this study was to find out the differences between DSME method by using booklet and social media method on care behavior of diabetes mellitus patients. The research design of this study was quantitative by using quasy-experiment approach with two groups pretest-posttest. Sample in this research are diabetes patient in the outpatient room, the collecting sample was used concecutive sampling with 30 people divided into 2 groups. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The independent t-test result were obtained p value = 0.001 is smaller than alpha value (p < 0.05) with different mean, namely -15,33. It can be concluded that diabetes self management education by using social media (whatsapp group) was more inluential in improving self care behavior than diabetes self management education by using lecturing method with booklet. From the results of this study, it is expected that hospitals can educate DM patients by following the DSME principle with the WhatsApp group method.

Mapping ergonomics application to improve SMEs working condition in industrially developing countries: a critical review
In industrially developing countries (IDC), small and medium enterprises (SMEs) account for the highest proprotion of employment. Unfortunately, the working conditions in SMEs are often very poor and expose employees to a potentially wide range of health and safety risks. This paper presents a comprehensive review of 161 articles related to ergonomics application in SMEs, using Indonesia as a case study. The aim of this paper is to investigate the extent of ergonomics application and identify areas that can be improved to promote effective ergonomics for SMEs in IDC. The most urgent issue found is the need for adopting participatory approach in contrast to the commonly implemented top-down approach. Some good practices in ergonomics application were also revealed from the review, e.g. a multidisciplinary approach, unsophisticated and low-cost solutions, and recognising the importance of productivity. The review also found that more work is still required to achieve appropriate cross-cultural adaptation of ergonomics application.
Practitioner Summary: Despite continuous efforts in addressing ergonomics issues in SMEs of IDC, workers are still exposed to poor work conditions. We reviewed factual-based evidence of current ergonomics application to inform future strategies of ergonomics in IDC, using Indonesia as a case study
