    This article aims to present a proposal for a scientific problem. The main objective is to evaluate the impact of usability on a web management platform for a livestock farm. This activity comprises individuals over 50 years old and with few studies and is characterised by low adoption of information systems. Thus, it is intended that with the creation of a web platform that aims to meet the needs of the sector, it is possible to measure the impact that the usability will have. This platform will be tested on several farms to validate its usefulness in a real environment. Besides presenting the objectives, this document will also address the research problem, related work and concepts, the research methodology to be implemented, and the expected results

    Students have been becoming more autonomous, which opens the window to innovative intervention that cognitively engages students. The current contexts of collaborative and self-learning, inserted in technological environments designed for Digital Learning, allow the achievement of different performances at different levels. This article’s main objectives are the identification of cognitive engagement strategies and to verify the existence of a correlation between these strategies and learning outcomes, in a higher education context. In this context, this research aims to identify what are the main cognitive engagement strategies for higher education contexts, what technological environments are available for applying cognitive engagement solutions and what correlation exists between the proposed strategies and learning outcomes, in digital learning environments.Based on an Action Research methodology, this position paper presents the state of the art regarding Cognitive Engagement and Learning Outcomes in Higher Education and a literature review.     Neste artigo, discutimos o uso de estratégias de aprendizagem colaborativa baseadas em tecnologias audiovisuais digitais num contexto de capacitação corporativa. O texto tem início com uma revisão concisa sobre os fundamentos teóricos e técnicos da comunicação educativa, por meio do uso de produtos audiovisuais. Em seguida, explicitamos como o uso de histórias pessoais digitais pode contribuir com os processos de aprendizagem colaborativa em treinamentos corporativos, oferecen- do meios para a entrega rápida de ma- teriais contextualizados que permitam a partilha de experiências entre formandos e formadores. Por fim, concluímos que o uso de histórias pessoais digitais pode ser uma oportunidade para se incrementar interações múltiplas no processo de construção do conhecimento corporativo.In this paper we discuss the use of collaborative learning strategies based on Digital Storytelling in corporative training. The text includes a concise review on theoretical and technical basis about educational communication through the use of audiovisual products. The paper will also argue that digital storytelling may contribute to the improvement of the effectiveness of collaborative learning processes in corporative training, providing swift delivery of highly contextualized learning materials, which allows the sharing of relevant personal experiences between trainers and trainees. Furthermore, we conclude that Digital Storytelling provides an opportunity to value, respect and promote the multiple and different cultural and social interactions in the corporative knowledge construction process

This paper presents Mozambique's journey in this domain, comparing it with global advancements. While the Mozambican higher education sector stands at the cusp of a digital revolution, its engagement with AI in LMS remains foundational. This is juxtaposed against the global trend where AI tools, such as ChatGPT, are rapidly becoming standard in many educational platforms, enhancing personalization, efficiency, and data-driven insights. The benefits of AI integration, such as tailored learning experiences and administrative automation, are counterbalanced by challenges, including data privacy concerns and over-reliance on technology. Drawing from real-world case studies, the paper highlights pioneering endeavours that showcase AI's potential in reshaping educational paradigms. As Mozambique navigates its unique challenges, insights from global best practices offer a roadmap for harnessing the transformative potential of AI in LMS, aiming to elevate its higher education sector to new heights.Na evolução da educação global, a integração da Inteligência Artificial (IA) nos Sistemas de Gestão de Aprendizagem (LMS) promete uma transformação significativa. Este artigo investiga a jornada de Moçambique neste domínio, comparando-a com os avanços globais. Enquanto o setor de ensino superior moçambicano está à beira de uma revolução digital, seu envolvimento com a IA em LMS ainda está em uma fase inicial. Isso é contrastado com a tendência global, onde ferramentas de IA, como o ChatGPT, estão rapidamente se a se tornar padrão em muitas plataformas educativas, aprimorando a personalização, eficiência e insights baseados em dados. Os benefícios da integração da IA, como experiências de aprendizagem adaptadas e automação administrativa, são equilibrados por desafios, incluindo preocupações com a privacidade dos dados e excesso de dependência da tecnologia.     Telling stories with digital technologies in corporative training context

    The art of telling stories in digital format is currently widely available due to the popularization of digital cameras, computers and other mobile devices. In this paper we discuss the use of collaborative learning strategies based on Digital Storytelling in corporative training. The text includes a concise review on theoretical and technical foundations about educational communication through the use of audiovisual products based on disciplines such as Communication, Education and Cognitive Sciences. We will also discuss how Digital Storytelling may be integrated in traditional contents oriented self-training systems, used by many corporations. However the main focus will be the discussion of the potential of the use of Digital Storytelling methodology in corporative training context which will be detailed based on data collected in scenarios from Portugal and Brazil. The paper is based on qualitative research and it will argue that digital storytelling may contribute to the improvement of the effectiveness of collaborative learning processes in corporative training, because it provides means for the swift delivery of highly contextualized learning materials and the sharing of relevant personal trainers and trainees’ experiences. Furthermore, Digital Storytelling methodology provides an opportunity to value, respect and promote the multiple and different cultural and social interactions in the corporative knowledge construction process. The research methodology adopted on this study involved three phases: 1) literature review; 2) detailed analysis of the digital Storytelling methodology and its implications in corporative training context; 3) collecting data from and discussing about some corporative cases in Portugal and Brazil.
