Kematian Orang Dewasa (Pendekatan Saudara Kandung) di Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam
Surkesda NAD 2006 included sibling technique approach to collect data of the survival of the siblings ofwomen aged 10-54 years of the household samples. The technique made possible to estimate adultmortality including age sex specific mortality rates, maternal mortality rate (MMR) and maternal mortality ratio (MMRatio) for Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) in the two periods of 1991-2000 and 2001-2006. Adult mortality rates increased significantly from 1991-2000 to 2001-2006. The increasemight be the cause of earth quake/tsunami that hit NAD in 2004. Sibling technique instrument providedtwo categories of maternal mortality, obstetric death and pregnancy related death. Based on obstetricdeaths as numerator of rate estimation, adjusted MMR was estimated at 35 per 100,000 for the period of 1991-2000 and it rose to 70 per 100,000 in the period of 2001-2006. Two approaches of estimating MMRatio were used, i.e., direct sisterhood method and PMDF approach. Direct sisterhood methodgave adjusted MMRatio of 392 per 100,000 in 1991-2000 and 638 per 100,000 in 2001-2006, while PMDF approach gave MMRatio of 357 and 580 per 100,000 for 1991-2000 and 2001-2006 respectively. PMDF itself could be used as indicator of maternal death. It measures the relative role ofmaternal cause of deaths from all causes deaths. PMDF, using definition of obstetric deaths, decreased significantly from 18% in 1991-2000 to 11% in 2001-2006. Compared to national estimates based on IDHS Survey 2002-2003 which gave estimate of MMRatio of 307 per 100,000 (direct sisterhood) or 420 per 100,000 (PMDF approach) for the period 1998-2003, MMRatio for NAD recently was much higher
Pemetaan Batimetri Dan Sedimen Dasar Di Perairan Teluk Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur
Perairan Teluk Balikpapan merupakan salah satu perairan yang terletak di Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, Balikpapan Tengah dan Balikpapan Barat, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Teluk Balikpapan merupakan perairan yang menjadi hilir dari Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Wain. Arah aliran Sungai Wain dari hulu ke hilir adalah dari Utara ke Selatan, dimana sepanjang Muara Sungai Wain terdapat aktivitas pembangunan industri seperti Kawasan Industri Kariangau (KIK) serta terdapat Pelabuhan Kariangau yang merupakan pelabuhan penyebrangan Balikpapan - Penajam Paser Utara. Aliran Sungai Wain membawa material sedimen sehingga aliran sungai menjadi salah satu sumber sedimen di daerah muara sungai Wain dan mengakibatkan terjadinya pendangkalan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi batimetri serta sebaran jenis sedimen dasar perairan yang nantinya akan disajikan dalam bentuk peta kontur batimetri dan sebaran jenis sedimen dasar Perairan Teluk Balikpapan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus, yaitu dimana metode ini memusatkan permasalahan pada suatu kasus secara mendetail dan umumya menghasilkan gambaran yang longitudinal, yakni dimana data yang dihasilkan hanya dapat digunakan pada daerah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan batimetri / kedalaman pada lokasi penelitian berkisar antara -2,24 meter hingga -53,84 meter terhadap nilai MSL dan hasil interpolasi kontur berkisar antara -2 meter hingga -35 meter . Morfologi dasar perairan menunjukan kelerengan di Perairan Teluk Balikpapan yaitu landai, datar-hampir datar dan agak curam. This Classroom Action Research aims to developed the character and critical thinking ability of junior high school student through learning model better teaching and learning (BTL). The research included three cycles, planning, action and observation and reflection. The research subject is VII B class and XI A SMP Negeri 13 Semarang. The data obtain from observation sheet, test, and questionaire. The research result that obtained application BTL can be developed character and critical thinking ability although the criteria is medium range. This is possibly happened because the character and critical ability are the habit that should be trained repeatly and continously. Pengembangan Multimedia Blog untuk Perolehan Kecakapan Menghubungkan Konsep dalam Pembelajaran Biologi
This study aims to develop a multimedia blog which is relevant to acquire the adroitness in connecting the concept for Biology Learning. The proficiency of understanding a concept is one of the intellectual proficiency in cognitive domain that can develop the students thinking skills and furthermore, it can be used for their daily problem solving activities. This qualitative research is done in SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak which is developed to fulfill its needs and learners characteristics and being researched based on the common phases of research development, which cover: research and initial data collecting, planning, validating, product revising, early trials, field trials and operational trials. Instructional design has been validated internally by learning experts, subject matter experts validate the learning aspects and materials, media experts validate and display aspects of programming. Based on the input from subject matter experts and media experts, the multimedia products have been revised and declared as proper for learning activities USAge. The trials result showed that the multimedia blog product is able to be used by students to make an independent self-learning that are easier, funnier, also can be done anytime or anywhere and mastery learning objective can be achieved
