Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation Untuk Menigkatkanhasil Belajar Standar Kompetensi Shield Metal Arc Welding Mata Diklat Teknik Pengelasan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan model pembeljaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan pre test – post test control group design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI TP SMK Bhina Tunas Bangsa berjumlah 97 peserta didik pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive rndom sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar post test t hitung =3.67< t tabel = 1.67. Karena t berada pada daerah penolakan Ho, maka kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Rata-rata hasil belajar pre test kelas eksperimen 62.23 dan kelas kontrol 64.31. Rata-rata hasil belajar post test kelas eksperimen 82.19, sedangkan kelas kontrol 75.73. Kesimpulan penelitian sebagi berikut 1) Rata-rata hasil belajar pre test pada kedua kelas relatif sama; 2) Rata-rata hasil belajar post test kelas eksperimen 84.20 sedangkan kelas kontrol 77.31; 3) Kedua kelas terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan; 4) Hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol

Studi Modifikasi Geometri Sudu pada Turbin Air Propeller Menggunakan Metode Elemen Hingga

Desain kekuatan turbin air propeller berdasarkan ketahanan terhadap pembebanan gaya aksial dari air. Pembebanan gaya aksial pada turbin air propeller menyebabkan tegangan bending pada sudu dan berpotensi terjadi kegagalan sudu pada struktur turbin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk membandingkan kekuatan modifikasi desain geometri turbin air propeller, yaitu penambahan fillet pada sisi hub sudu dan penambahan ketebalan sudu. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dengan Metode Elemen Hingga menggunakan Solid Works Simulation 2016 dan pembebanan pada sudu dengan tekanan statik. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi desain geometris dengan penambahan ketebalan sudu lebih meningkatkan faktor keamanan dibandingkan penambahan fillet pada sisi hub sudu

MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI MI NU TARBIYATUL ISLAM LORAM WETAN KECAMATAN JATI KABUPATEN KUDUS TAHUN 2018/2019

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut pendidikan karakter di MI NU Tarbiyatul Islam Loram Wetan Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Kudus? (2) Faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di MI NU Tarbiyatul Islam Loram Wetan Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Kudus? Permasalahan tersebut dibahas melalui studi lapangan (field research) yang dilaksanakan di MI NU Tarbiyatul Islam. Tempat tersebut dijadikan sebagai sumber data untuk mendapatkan potret manajemen pendidikan karakter. Data tersebut diperoleh dengan metode observasi, metode wawancara dan metode dokumentasi. Semua data dianalisis dan dicek secara berkala dan berlangsung secara terus menerus, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan dalam pendidikan karakter di MI NU Tarbiyatul Islam Loram Wetan Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Kudus yakni madrasah mempunyai rencana dan kegiatan yang dapat mendukung dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter, dimulai dari pengarahan dan jadwal kegiatan yang sudah ditetapkan dan arahan guru dan contoh-contoh perilaku atau sikap yang baik. Karena dengan adanya contoh tersebut siswa akan senantiasa mengikuti apa yang telah diarahkan oleh guru. Mengenai pelaksanaan pendidikan dalam membentuk karakter siswa ini tidak hanya terjadi di kelas tetapi di luar kelas. Siswa-siswa kami sedikit demi sedikit bisa mengkolaborasi dan kerjasama dalam menyelesaikan setiap permasalahan. Mengambil informasi dan mengikuti contoh-contoh perilku baik yang terkandung dalam materi pembelajaran. Sertra menanamkan 18 nilai-nilai karakter yang teah ditekankan. Adapun evaluasinya melalui pengamatan guru kelas masing-masing terkait karakter dan perilaku yang dilakukan oleh siswa, selain itu evaluasi tersebut diupayakan sebagai perbaikan akhlak atau perilaku siswa sebagai penanaman perilaku baik kepada siswa. Sedangkan tindak lanjutnya yakni apabila setelah dievaluasi dari rencana yang sudah dilakukan apakah ada perubahan baik bagi siswa maka planning tersebut dijalankan dengan kebersamaan dengan semua dewan guru agar siswa tertanam jiwa yang baik dan mampu berperilaku baik. (2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pendidikan karakter di MI NU Tarbiyatul Islam Loram Wetan Jati Kudus yaitu pentingnya belajar memahami sikap ini agar siswa dapat memberikan manfaat dan mengambil contoh baik dari sikap yang dilakukan. Adanya nilai kebersamaan dan kerjasama antar teman saat ada tugas, nilai kedisiplinan dalam berbagai hal, nilai kejujuran dan kebersamaan apabila interaksi dengan teman atau orang lain, nilai persatuan dengan teman-teman di kelasnya, nilai kerukunan, nilai kesopanan terhadap semua orang dan nilai kebersamaan dalam menjunjung kreatifitas atau ketika ada tugas kelompok. Nilai-nilai tersebut dikembangkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar karakter siswa dapat terbentuk dengan sikap atau perilaku baik

EFEKTIVITAS IKLAN GO-JEK VERSI ‘VERTIBOKEK’ DI MEDIA SOSIAL YOUTUBE DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN EPIC MODEL (Studi Pada Pengguna Go-Jek Kalangan Mahasiswa di Kota Bandung)

Online advertising yang saat ini marak digunakan telah menjadi suatu kunci keberhasilan dalam beriklan, terutama social media advertising. Beriklan melalui sosial media menjadi hal yang penting dilakukan mengingat besarnya jumlah pengguna media sosial, sehingga jangkauannya pun lebih luas dan tak terbatas. Media sosial yang palung banyak digunakan sebagai media promosi adalah Youtube. Tren social media marketing ini diikuti salah satunya oleh perusahaan startup Go-Jek. Go-jek merupakan perusahaan yang menciptakan aplikasi layanan booking ojek online. Pada tahun 2018, Go-Jek mengunggah iklan di Youtube dengan Judul ‘Vertibokek. Iklan tersebut merupakan bagian dari iklan kampanye ‘Udah Waktunya Pake Go-Jek’ yang bertujuan untuk mengajak masyarakat agar beralih dari menggunakan kendaraan pribadi ke layanan Ride-Hailing dari Go-Jek. Untuk itu peneliti ingin mengukur efektivitas iklan Go-Jek versi ‘Vertibokek’ di Youtube menggunakan EPIC Model. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan EPIC Model (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, dan Communication) sebagai variabel independen terhadap pengguna Go-Jek kalangan mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner online kepada 400 responden pengguna Go-Jek dan pernah melihat iklan Go-Jek versi ‘Vertibokek’ di Youtube. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai EPIC Rate sebesar 3,11. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa iklan Go-Jek versi ‘Vertibokek’ di media sosial Youtube dinilai efektif berdasarkan EPIC Model. Kekuatan Bending dan Tarik Komposit Berpenguat Serat Eceng Gondok/Tebu Bermatrik Epoxy

The use of natural fiber as composite material is growing rapidly due to excellent characteristics, environmentally friendly quality and low price. For this reason, natural fiber breaks the dominance of synthetic fiber composite previously used in industries, especially in automotive manufacturing. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of fiber orientation on the flexural and tensile strength of water hyacinth-sugarcane fiber composite with epoxy matrix. The composite then be tested as an alternative to doortrim. Fiber orientation applied to specimens was random for sugarcane fiber, but continuous on water hyacinth fiber with angle variants of -45/45, 45/90, 45/45, and 90/90. Specimen standard for flexural test is ASTM D790-15 and ASTM D638-14 for tensile test. The study results show that the highest average value for flexural strength is 51.7 MPa of the 45/90 variant, while the lowest average value of 16.6 MPa is the 45/45 variant. Both 45/90 and -45/45 variants have the highest tensile strength of 30 MPa. The 90/90 variant records the weakest tensil strength value of 20 MPa. The highest flexural and tensile strength values exceed minimum score of the SNI 01-4449-2006 and equal the values of panel assy backdoortrim. This experiment proves that fiber orientation affects mechanical properties of composite materials, especially in terms of flexural or tensile strength

Visual Inspection and Non-Destructive Test (NDT) on ASTM A36 Welded Joints Produced by GMAW

Low-carbon steel is often used for welding joints, whether in the form of structural steel or other materials; the application of this material is used in shipbuilding, bridge construction, and other fields. Welding inspection is needed to determine the quality of the weld. Visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) are techniques in welding inspection. This study aims to determine the results of visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) on welding joints of low-carbon steel produced by GMAW. The welding joints used are V-butt joints with a bevel angle of 300, 10 mm thick plate, 2.6 mm root gap, variations in welding layers: 3 layers (root pass, filler pass, and capping), and 4 layers (root pass, 2 filler passes, and capping), filler metal ER 70S-6 0.8 mm, and CO2. Volts, current, travel distance, and shielding gas flow rate are welding parameters. The tests carried out were visual inspection referring to limits for imperfections in ISO 6520-1, non-destructive tests (NDT) that were carried out, namely penetrant tests and radiography tests. The visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) on specimen 1 reveal an internal defect, specifically a lack of fusion; the specimen should be rejected. Specimen 2 shows an imperfection in the surface area, namely in the form of spatter (2 spots), and there are internal imperfections in the form of porosities with an area of less than 3%. The specimen should be accepted.

Combined Ultraviolet-C and Pasteurization Methods to Extend the Shelf Life of Cow's Milk

Milk is classified as an animal food that is easily damaged because it contains high nutrients and water, so it is ideal for microbial growth. The common milk preservation technique is pasteurization. However, in pasteurization, heat-resistant bacteria are still able to survive. This study aims to find Total Plate Counternative methods of processing cow's milk, namely by innovating the combination of ultraviolet-C radiation and pasteurization methods to reduce the number of milk microbes while still prioritizing quality and safety. The ultraviolet -C modified pasteurization apparatus was given three treatments, i.e. radiation process then pasteurization process, pasteurization process then radiation process, and simultaneous (combined) process. The results showed that the simultaneous process resulted in a reduction percentage of bacteria of 99.996%, from the number of bacteria in milk which was originally 6.2×106 to 1×103 CFU/mL. The shelf life of milk with the simultaneous method showed the best results with an TOTAL PLATE COUNT test of 10 CFU/ml after 6 months of storage. The results showed that the degree of acidity (pH) before and after treatment of the three sterilization methods did not show a significant change. Simultaneous method or ultraviolet C radiation modified pasteurization process can be an Total Plate Counternative method in milk sterilization and increase shelf life
