Like-Sign Charged Higgs Boson Production in eee^-e^- Collisions at the NLC

We consider the production of a pair of like-sign charged Higgs bosons in eee^-e^- collisions at the NLC within the context of several electroweak models with extended symmetry breaking sectors. We find that the rate for this process, which proceeds through WWW^-W^- fusion, is a very sensitive probe of the nature of these extended Higgs sectors and that the corresponding cross sections can vary by as much as several orders of magnitude at NLC energies. We review the capability of e+ee^+e^- and eee^-e^- colliders to detect the virtual exchange of Kaluza-Klein towers of gravitons within the large extra dimension scenario of Arkani-Hamed, Dimopoulos and Dvali and in the localized gravity model of Randall and Sundrum with non-factorizable geometry.Comment: 10 pages, 5 figs, LaTeX; To appear in the Proceedings of the 3nd3^{nd} International Workshop on eee^-e^- Interactions at TeV Energies, Santa Cruz, CA, 10-12 December 199

    Extended Gauge Sectors

Present and future prospects for the discovery of new gauge bosons, ZZ' and WW', are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to hadron and e+ee^+e^- collider searches for the WW' of the Left-Right Symmetric Model. Higher Curvature Effects in ADD and RS Models

    Get PDF
Over the last few years several extra-dimensional models have been introduced in attempt to deal with the hierarchy problem. These models can lead to rather unique and spectacular signatures at Terascale colliders such as the LHC and ILC. The ADD and RS models, though quite distinct, have many common feature including a constant curvature bulk, localized Standard Model(SM) fields and the assumption of the validity of the EH action as a description of gravitational interactions.Comment: 8 pages, 3 figs; Talk given at LCWS06, Bangalore, India, 16-18 March, 2006; typos correcte

Contact Interaction Searches at the Linear Collider: Energy, Luminosity and Positron Polarization Dependencies

Many types of new physics can lead to contact interaction-like modifications in e+ee^+e^- processes below direct production threshold. This report summarizes a survey of contact interaction search reaches at the Linear Collider as functions of energy, luminosity and positron polarization. The various tradeoffs between these quantities in such searches are examined in detail.Comment: 10 pages, 9 figs, LaTex.
