Measuring the factors of employeesâ job satisfaction among lecturers in UiTM Melaka / Nor âAqilah Ahamad Baharudin and Abdul Rauf Ridzuan
This research is basically aimed to recognize and measure the factors of employeesâ job satisfaction among lecturers specifically in the organization of UiTM Melaka, Campus of Alor Gajah. In the world of development, this topic is prominent in its way as every organizations need to improve their employeesâ satisfaction to produced a decent job (Wan Ahmad & Abdurahman, 2015). There were many familiar present studies in this field that may be a strong stand to be referred. By using Maslowâs Hierarchy of Needs Theory and Herzberg Motivator-Hygiene Theory which are related to job satisfaction field, there were four relevant factors of employeesâ job satisfaction; work relationships, job security, self efficiency and payment and reward. A survey is conducted based on Krejcie and Morgan Table, N=340, S=181. A total of 212 questionnaires were answered by the lecturers of UiTM Melaka, Campus of Alor Gajah as purposely sampling and produced the results
The relationship of studentsâ satisfaction and academic performance: a case study for PR degree students UiTM Alor Gajah Melaka / Mohd Khairornizam Mohd Yunus and Abdul Rauf Ridzuan
A study of degree PR studentâs satisfaction about UiTM Alor Gajah, Melaka facilities here was commissioned by a comprehensive university to provide a professional evaluation of student. Such a study had not been completed in the past and was needed to align student services with the mission, long-range goals, and strategic planning of the university. The researcher conducted a survey and distributed 94 respondents in UiTM Melaka which consist of PR degree students. The study demonstrated that relationship among UiTM staff as significant factor that effect on the studentâs academic performance. Result of the research were analyzed and discussed regarding the relationship between satisfaction and academic performance. In this study, the researcher using assimilation theory to describe satisfaction for PR degree studentsâ and the finding from this research showed that satisfaction among UiTM staff being is most significant factor among the three factors
Social networking sites in cyberspace community in Malaysia / Abdul Rauf RidzuanâŚ[et.al]
This study is done in order to find the level of social networking sites among multiethnic users in Malaysia. Social networking sites are chosen as they bring many benefits to the users. This study used social capital theory as foundations theories for model development. The minimum sample size was determined through Gâ°Power analysis. The study involved 482 respondents, selected through a cluster sampling technique involving three main ethnics in Malaysia. A cross sectional survey and structured questionnaire were used for data collection. All variables were measured through scales previously used by other researchers. SPSSS ver. 20 software was used in the analysis. Results of the SPSS indicated that the level of SNS, three out of four factors namely quality, intimacy, and interaction in SNS show very high level
Drugs misuse among children: measuring the level of parentsâ awareness on their childrenâs behavioural change / Afifah Hanani Rosdi, Abdul Rauf Ridzuan and Siti Hajar Abdul Aziz
A survey was carried out to gather information on awareness of parents on children in relation to drug misuse matters. Significantly, parents are aware of the factors affecting their childrenâs behaviour, which was causes by the influence of parentsâ knowledge on the drugs-related issues, circle of friends, social pressure, and parental behaviour. This study referred to Social Bonding Theory as its reference to compare the results of the findings with the existing theory. Meanwhile, based on Raosoft Calculator software, since the population size of the study is 8.15 million, hence 90% level of confidence was used to describe the amount of uncertainty the researcher can tolerate. The response distribution is 70% whereby it is the probability distribution of the response (target) variable. Thus, as calculated in the software, the recommended sample size is 228 respondents. In this study, the researcher managed to gather 242 respondents through purposive sampling method in order to identify the level of awareness of parents on their childrenâs behavioural change. The R2 obtained = 0.401 defines that 40.1% of the amount of variance in the awareness of parents on their childrenâs behavioural change can be explained by the independent variables

Rayani Airâs establishment as the fourth Islamic airline in world
and the first Islamic carrier received spectrum attention from the
top to bottom line of public in Malaysia and worldwide. However,
Rayani Air failed to maintain its good publicity and the consistency of a good Islamic corporate image. Their reputation declined as they failed to solve several issues and crises that occurred which led to its shutdown. The researcher conducted the interview sessions with the company founder, ex-customers of Rayani Air, the aviation and âshariahâ experts and did content analysis to explore the corporate issue of Rayani Air. Objective: The findings of this study will embark the new guideline of the real practice of Islamic corporate image in any airline corporations based on the notions and needs of public in Malaysia. Knowing the market Islamic identity or label that layered behind the organisationsâ image is vital necessity for the need of Muslim consumers around the world. Results:Majority of the public changed their positive perceptions negatively after the shutdown of Rayani Air. Their perceptions of Rayani Airâs corporate
image are moderately satisfied. Most of the informants admitted that they were keen on its Islamic identity and trigger their attention to try out the service but what made most of them bought the ticket were because of its affordable ticket fare, cheap but high-quality service provided at the beginning of the companyâs kick-start. Their biggest disappointments were the failure of the company to fulfil the promises of good âshariahâ services to the customers. Conclusion: It is crucial for the Islam based business entrepreneurs to learn the facts and give their utmost respect towards the religion while making profit for both ownersâ and costumersâ benefits which uplifting the name of Islam itself world widely. Aviation industry is a dog-eat-dog deal. One cannot simply manipulate the holiness of Islam for the sake
of self-profit in the business. Right image with wrong intention will dim the white and light of Islam among the public
The trustworthy of Halal Logo on imported food in Malaysia / Farah Hazween Amanah, Abdul Rauf Ridzuan and Nur Ain Atieqah Baharudin
This research examined the study of the trustworthy of Halal Logo on imported food in Malaysia as the main option. Descriptive quantitative research study was conducted through survey using questionnaire form. The Independent Variable based on the main dimension which is the reliability imported foodâs Halal Logo. There are four factors (1) Company Background (2) Food Labelling (3) Knowledge (4) Marketing while Dependent Variable is trustworthy on Halal Logoâs food to measure the trustworthy of Halal Logo on imported food among community in Malaysia. The study has involved with 200 respondents. The suitable research theory that implemented throughout the study is Social Cognitive Theory by Badura and Walters. This study towards perceptions behaviour, environmental factors and personal factors to measure the trustworthy of Halal Logo on imported food among community in Malaysia.
The hypothesis testing gained by using two different methods which indicated different result which are Pearson Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression. Based on the research by using Pearson Correlation method the four listed null hypothesis is accepted based on the standardized significant values which is must be less than (p= 0.05). However, based on Multiple Linear Regression method, there are two different reading which formed different results. The first result is based on Beta value which shown the most significant relationship between independent towards dependent variables. Thus, the result indicated Marketing is (β =.507) the strongest relationship towards dependent variables. However, based on significant value in Coefficient Multiple Regression analysis, the null hypothesis of knowledge (p= .014) and marketing (p= .000) is being accepted with significant value below than (p= 0.05)
Factor of drug rejections and stigma toward drug consumers and drugs / Seema Shamira Muhammad Sani Surinder, Abdul Rauf Ridzuan and Rosilawati Sultan Mohideen
This research examined the study of factors of drug rejection and stigma toward drug consumers and drugs. In Malaysia, drug abuse is a complex issue and has been a serious public health problem in Malaysia. The cumulative number of registered drug users until 2008 was estimated at about 250,000 people and was predicted to reach half a million by 2015. By using Raosoft Calculator, the recommended sample size is 271 for this survey. Hence, the researcher manages to get 300 respondents. The first result is based on the Beta value, which shows the most significant relationship between independent towards dependent variables. The results of this study showed and 51.60% of the variance of factor of drug rejections was explained by the stigma of drugs and 27.90% of the variance of factor of drug rejections was explained by the stigma of drug consumers. This study aims to assist AADK and the Home Ministry to provide greater understanding and awareness to the public on the danger of drugs and to have a greater picture of the level of stigma toward drugs and drug consumers in Malaysia. This study is developed to facilitate the Malaysian who have least knowledge and awareness regarding the danger of drug and drug consumers and to provide the Home Ministry, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) with a superior understanding of the main factor of the Stigma of drug and drug consumers in Malaysia, which will benefit them to plan on how to reduce the number of drug consumers in Malaysia
The acceptance towards Sunnah food among Malaysian community / Nur Akmal Bahiah Badrul Hisham, Abdul Rauf Ridzuan and Aini Faezah Ramlan
The research examined the study of Theory of Planned Behaviour and perceptions towards the Sunnah food among Malaysian community. The minimum amount of survey within sample size was determined through Raosoft Calculator software by using purposive sampling method. Descriptive quantitative research was conducted through survey using questionnaire form from Google Docs, involving 300 respondents from Malaysia. The collected data were analysed by using SPSS version 20. The independent variable, which is Theory of Planned Behaviour involved 4 elements which is (1) Attitude, (2) Subjective Norms, (3) Perceived Behavioural Control (PBC) and (4) Knowledge. While the dependent variable studied of the Malaysian community acceptance towards Sunnah food. The suitable research theory implemented throughout the study is Theory of Planned Behaviour, which is chosen to observe the relationship among the components of TPB with the behaviour of consumer by taking into consideration the Sunnah advantages. Theory of planned behaviour were collected from various social media literatures that included both books and article journals (Rozilah Hamdan, 2013).

However, based on significant value in Coefficient Multiple Linear Regressions Analysis, the null hypothesis of Attitude (0.000), Subjective Norms (0.001), Perceived Behavioural Control (0.289) and Knowledge (0.000) is being accepted with significant value below than p=0.10. While when R-value indicates multiple R, which is the correlation of all the independent variables against dependent variable, which is 0.898.and the R2 which is 0.806 explain the amount of variance in the dependent variables by all the dependent variable
Malaysiansâ perception towards 10 promises in 100 days and public acceptance towards the new government (Pakatan Harapan) / Abdul Rauf RidzuanâŚ[et al.]
After the 14th General Election (GE14), Pakatan Harapan (PH) won the election on 9th of May 2018. This political party had made their manifesto and announced it on 8th of March 2018. This research is focusing on their efforts to implement their manifesto which is (10 promises in 100 days). The researcher decided to take ten pledges that Pakatan Harapan must carry through during their first 100 days of governance. However, only six promises that the researcher decided to choose for the research because not all the promises had been fulfilled and only six that are fulfilled and partially fulfilled. By using Reasoned Action Theory that can be related to public acceptance towards the new government (PH). The questionnaires was distributed to all Malaysian from various states and the questionnaires were disseminated via online survey using Google Doc. Questionnaires were distributed to 200 respondents in various states aged from 20 to 60 years and above. The raw data was analysed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Based on the result by using Multiple Linear Regression method, there are 4 factors which are the most significant that are 1MDB (β=0.491) marks the strongest relationship towards dependent variables and then followed by GST (β=0.276), Level up the Minimum Wage (β=0.184) and PTPTN (β=-0.105). However, there are 2 factors which are not significant that are Fuel Subsidies β=0.276) and EPF of Housewives (β=-0.005). In order to promote the trust and public acceptance towards the new government, Pakatan Harapan need to fulfil the entire manifesto that they have promised to execute
The level of cyber ethnocentrism among multiethnic in Malaysia
Ethnocentrism is the evaluation of other cultures according to preconceptions originating in the standards and customs of one's own culture. As Malaysians are practicing multicultural communication, ethnocentrism is there. This study is done in order to find the level of ethnocentrism among multiethnic SNS users in Malaysia.
