QIṢAṢ AL-ĀBĀI WA AL-ABNĀI FĪ AL-QURĀN AL-KARĪM WA ĀṠARUHĀ FĪ TARBIYAH AL-ABNĀI: DIRĀSAH MUQĀRANAH BAINA QIṢATAY NUḤ MA’A IBNIHI WA IBRĀHĪM MA’A IBNIHI

The stories of the Quran are one of the interesting topics in the Quranic studies. Every story in the Qur'an contains various wisdom and lessons. One of the stories mentioned in the Quran is the story of parents and children. In this article, the author presents two stories of parents and children in the Koran, namely the story of Prophet Nuh As. and his disobedient son and the story of Prophet Ibrahim As and his son who was pious and devoted to his parents, namely Prophet Ismail As. This study uses a descriptive-analytical method. Using this Method, the author gathered Quranic verses relating to two stories and subsequently elaborated and analyzed the wisdoms on child education contained in the stories. Based on this method there are several research results: First; The story of Nuh As and his son showed us the distinct behavior of humans. Prophet Nuh As represents a father who believes and responsible on his Child’s education, while his son, Kan'an represents a child who is disbelieving and disobeying to his father. Second; The story of Prophet Ibrahim As and his son, Prophet Ismail as showed us a strong relationship between a father and his son. Prophet Ibrahim as represents a father who is faithful and responsible on his child’s education, while Prophet Ismail as represents a child who is faithful, tough and strong. Third; Some aspects of education in child care based on these two stories are faith education (the first education that must be given to children) and moral education, which is a reflection of faith education. This moral education will be achieved by three elements, namely in the form of exemplar, advice and environment

INTEGRATING HERMENEUTICS IN QUR'ANIC STUDY: A THOUGHT ANALYSIS OF BINTU SHĀṬĪ'

This article discusses the integration of hermeneutics in Quranic studies. Some Muslim scholars consider hermeneutics to be one of the partners in interpreting the Quran. One of the contemporary Muslim intellectuals who has quite influential hermeneutical ideas is Bintu Syāṭī'. The research in this paper is classified as qualitative literature research with a socio-historical approach and uses Gadamer's theory to analyze the influence of Bintu Syāṭī''s hermeneutical concept. The results of this study conclude two things, namely: first, Bintu Shāṭī''s method of interpretation in her tafsir is influenced by her education and her husband Amīn al-Khūlī so that Bintu Shāṭī''s method in interpreting the Qur'an leans towards literary studies to reveal the bayani of the Qur'an. COVID-19 concerns, influenza vaccination history and pregnant women’s COVID-19 vaccine acceptance: a systematic review

Pregnant women have a higher risk of serious illness during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. This raises concerns about COVID-19 infection in pregnant women. Other than COVID-19, pregnant women are also a high-risk group for influenza infection. Influenza vaccination is used to prevent coinfection with COVID-19. Thus, this study examined the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine in pregnant women based on factors of worry about COVID-19 infection and a history of influenza vaccination. This study was a systematic review that assessed cross-sectional articles of the year 2020-2021 from the Pubmed, Science Direct, and Medrxiv databases with narrative analysis. There were three articles that met the criteria. The three articles showed significant relationships between concerns of being infected with COVID-19 and receiving COVID-19 vaccine acceptance in pregnant women, while a significant relationships between a history of influenza vaccination and accepting COVID-19 vaccination in pregnant women were only found in two articles. Compared to the history of influenza vaccination, the concerns of being infected with COVID-19 in pregnant women were significantly more related to accepting COVID-19 vaccination, so it can be the focus of intervention to increase the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination in pregnant women

Interpretasi Makna Hidayah Dalam al-Quran (Telaah Pemikiran Al-Rāgib al-Aṣfahānī)

This article explains the meaning of hidayah in the Qur’an from the perspective of al-Rāgib al-Aṣfahānī. Verses about hidayah are presented in the Qur'an in various ways. In some places, they seem contradictory. Through of descriptive-analytical, the author tries to explain about hidayah in the Qur’an from al-Rāgib's presentation recorded in his magnum-opus Mufradāt alfaẓ al-Qurān. He was one of the commentators in the 5th century H. The verses about hidayah described in the Qur’an are classified by al-Rāgib into four stages; the first stage is hidayah obtained by all living things on this earth (garizah, natural nature and thinking power), the second stage is hidayah given to humans in the form of preaching from the prophets and apostles, the third stage is hidayah given special by Allah to those who ask and want guidance (taufiq), the fourth stage is hidayah obtained by humans in the hereafter, namely the guidance of Allah in the beauty and pleasures of heaven
