Ecological Perspective towards the song of Earth by Michael Jackson

The study aimed to know how the Ecolgical perspective in analyzing the song Earth. There are relation between humans and nature represented in the song. This study uses qualitative method to analyze the song. In the findings, the writer found that there is the disharmonic relationship between humans and nature that represented ecology matters, the next finding is the environmental imagination is revealed by the past, present and future in the song as the environmental history

THE IMPLICATION OF TEACHING METHOD AND STUDENT’S SCHEMA THROUGH READING COMPREHENSION ON FACING ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY

The purpose of the research is to know the effect of teaching method, student’s schema through reading comprehension on facing of Asean Economic Community. To collect the data, the writer persuade two techniques on teaching English, they are conventional and contextual technique. The method used in this research is quantitative research by using a survey method and correlation technique. The method and the technique have intention to know the correlation among dependent variable (Y), it is Reading comprehension while teaching method (A), and Student’s Schema (B) as the two of independent variables. The characteristics of the descriptive method are to give the existence of the data, straight to the problems and the recent variables aren’t manipulated by the writer. Furthermore, the writer got the data by giving short and simple of reading comprehension exercise to the participants. The writer got some findings about the effect of teaching method and student’s schema through reading comprehension. Based on the teaching method by using SQ3R found that Fh = 18.683 that is higher than Ft = 3,15 and the student’s schema is Fh = 38.163, that is also higher than Ft = 3,15. So, the result of reading comprehension score through contextual method (SQ3RR) and student’s schema have high significant score than conventional method. An Analysis of Changing Character of ‘R’ Through Motivation Theory in the Movie Warm Bodies Directed by Jonathan Levine

The purpose for the study is to obtain the information about how the motivation portrayed the main character in the movie “Warm Bodies”. Motivation is generally interpreted someone’s desire to achieve success in any case. In research, the writer uses the movie of “Warm Bodies” as the main material to analysis the data.  The theories on literature are necessary to use in  analyzing the character in order to answer the research question on chapter 1. Preposition’s Meaning of Construction -s on The Novel “The Da Vinci Code”

The goal of the study is to prove that prepositions can parse the meanings of possessive construction -s. Besides, it is also to describe kinds of prepositions occurring  in  the  possessive  construction -s  and  to  explain  the  meanings  of possessive construction -s. Theories employed to support in analyzing data are Murphy (1998) talking about prepositions; Lyons (1995), Huddleston & Pullum (2002), Carter & McCarthy (2010) discussing about possessive construction -s. The research questions discussed in this study are what kinds of prepositions can the possessive construction -‘s substitute and what meanings can the possessive constructions emerge. Some people considered that the possessive construction -‘s as the meaning of possession of someone. Based on the findings found by the writer,  the  meaning of  possessive  construction  -s  is  not  only to  refer  to  the possessive meanings, but also to meanings of preposition, i.e. at, in, on, to, of, from, by, and about. Besides, each preposition has different meanings depending on contexts of the sentences

Issues of Gay Community on the Novel of Simon VS the Homo Sapiens Agenda

The study aims to know how social community on gay’s life through the novel of Simon vs the Homo sapiens agenda written by Becky Albertalli. The title of this research is “ The Analysis of Main Character on Confessions of A Shopaholic Novel through Freudian Theory written by Sophie Kinsella”. Confessions of A Shopaholic novel is tells about a women named Rebecca Bloomwood who has bad behavior that are shopping addiction to fulfill her desire but she gets anxiety because of her debts and it disturbs her psychological. This research will focuses on Rebecca’s anxiety.The data are taken from the novel in the form of dialog and monolog. The writer using psychoanalysis theory from Sigmund Freud that related with anxiety theory. Sigmund Freud theory has 3 kinds of anxiety, there are realistic anxiety, neurotic anxiety and moral anxiety. This theory is used to analyze the cause and effect of Rebecca Bloomwood’s anxiety.Last, the writer found the proved from Rebecca experiences three kinds of anxiety. First is neurotic anxiety caused by her mom character and it might be related to Rebecca childhood, Rebecca can’t to be honest to her mom about the cost of her skirt or clothes, she always tells if they are cheap because she knows her mom will shocked and angry if she now the truth, that can related if Rebecca can’t fulfill her desire when she was child because of her mom character. Second is realistic anxiety caused by her bad habit in shopping, that makes Rebecca has a lot of debts and that makes she becomes panic everytime met her debt collector. Penatalaksanaan Batuk Efektif Akibat Tuberkulosis Paru

Introduction: Tuberculosis is a public health problem around the world, with Indonesia in particular being the second leading cause of death from infectious diseases. Objective: Carry out comprehensive nursing care to clients experiencing respiratory system disorders due to Pulmonary TB with effective cough interventions. Method: The design of the study uses a case study, which aims to describe the phenomenon with a nursing care approach. Results: Showing clients said frequent coughs at night, coughing up phlegm, and difficulty removing phlegm are the causes of this Pulmonary TB results in primary infection of the alveoli resulting in increased secretion production resulting in ineffective airway clearance problems. Conclusion: Optimization of airway management in pulmonary tuberculosis nursing care with airway clearance is not effectivePendahuluan: Tuberkulosis merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di seluruh dunia, dengan Indonesia khususnya menjadi penyebab kematian kedua akibat penyakit menular. Tujuan: Melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan secara komprehensif kepada klien yang mengalami gangguan system pernapasan akibat TB Paru dengan intervensi batuk efektif. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus, yang bertujuan menggambarkan fenomena dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan. Hasil: Menunjukan klien mengatakan sering batuk pada malam hari, batuk berdahak, susah mengeluarkan dahak menjadi penyebab tersebut adalah TB Paru mengakibatkan infeksi primer pada alveoli mengakibatkan produksi sekret meningkat sehingga muncul masalah bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif. Kesimpulan: Optimalisasi menejemen jalan nafas dalam asuhan keperawatan tuberkulosis paru dengan bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif

TINGKAT KECANDUAN GAME ONLINE PADA REMAJA

Online games are games that are connected to the internet, one of which is very much in demand from various groups from children, and teenagers, to adults. It has been unfortunate in this case not everyone can control it well so that it can lead to addiction. Teenagers in their teens almost every day play online games with an estimated 10.7 million people or about 10% of the total users aged 12-24 years based on the survey results, Indonesia ranks eighth in the world and the majority of online game users are young teens. This study aims to identify the level of addiction to playing online games in adolescents in Neglasari Village. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 6,236 people. samples were taken using the purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the level of online game addiction in the Neglasari village youth was in the medium category. This study concludes that the description of the level of online game addiction in adolescents in the Neglasari village with the longest duration is categorized with the duration of the category of moderate addiction level

THE STATE OF CHOLESTEROL LEVEL IN HYPERTENSION IN SADANANYA HEALTH CENTER

Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure above 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure above 90 mmHg. The number of hypertension sufferers has increased each year, in 2015 it reached 19,552, in 2016 it reached 24,750 and in 2017 it reached 38,057. In 2017 there were 115 hypertensive patients recorded in the report book that checked their health at the Sadananya Health Center. One of the causes of the high incidence of hypertension is cholesterol caused by the consumption of inappropriate food. One of the laboratory examinations to support hypertension diagnosis is blood cholesterol examination which can show excess cholesterol which makes hypertension difficult to control. To know the description of total cholesterol levels in hypertensive patients at the Sadananya Health Center. Quantitative descriptive, the population in this study were people with hypertension at the Sadananya Health Center. Sampling with accidental sampling, as many as 30 respondents. The cholesterol examination method used is CHOD-PAP. The results showed that blood pressure in respondents all had high blood pressure, namely >140/90 mmHg (100%), a high cholesterol level of 24 respondents (80%), blood pressure 140-150 who had high cholesterol as many 13 respondents, blood pressure 160-170 who had high cholesterol as much 6 respondents, blood pressure >180 who had high cholesterol as much 5 respondents. This study concludes that hypertensive clients have more high total cholesterol levels, which is as much as 80% and normal 20%. More hypertensive patients have high total cholesterol levels, which are 80% and 20% normal
