The effect of time manipulation on immersion in digital games
Many empirical studies look into identifying factors that influence the quality of experience in video games. In this paper, we present research into the effect of playing time and players’ perception of the time on their immersion in the game. We invited 20 participants to play a puzzle game Bejeweled 2 for 7 min. They played the game in two conditions, namely, correct time (timer was programmed to be exactly 7 min) and wrong time (the countdown was set to be for 6 min, but was presented as a 7 min timer to the player). Players’ immersion scores were measured after the game using the IEQ. The results show no significant difference in immersion scores between the two conditions and participants’ comments also revealed that they perceived no difference in playing time between the conditions. This suggests that there is a dissociation between gaming time and subjective experience of gaming. Further research is required to investigate the relationship between playing time and positive gaming experiences
Plant Regeneration of Pummelo CV. Cikoneng From Cotyledon and Epicotyl
In vitro conservation needs highly efficient micropropagation protocol. The objective of the research was to obtain an efficient and reproducible protocol for pummelo (Citrus maxima(Burm.) Merr.) micropropagation through direct shoot formation. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design with two factors and 20 replications. The 1stfactor was type of explant, i.e. cotyledon and epicotyl segments of Pummelo cv. Cikoneng, while the 2ndfactor was the media composition as follow (1) MS + 1.0 mg BAP L-1 + 0.5 mg Kinetin L-1 + 0.5 mg NAA L-1; (2) MS + 2.0 mg BAP L-1 + 0.5 mg Kinetin L-1 + 0.5 mg NAA L-1; (3) MS + 1.0 mg BAP L-1 + 1.0 mg Kinetin L-1 + 0.5 mg NAA L-1; (4) MS + 2.0 mg BAP L-1 + 0.5 mg Kinetin L-1+ 1.0 mg NAA L-1; (5) MS + 2.0 mg BAP L-1+ 1.0 mg Kinetin L-1 + 1.0 mg NAA L-1. Observation was conducted on days to shoot induction, number of explant forming shoots, shoot height, number of shoots, leaves, and roots. The results showed that adventitious shoots emerged from callus in epicotyl (6-8 WAP), but adventitious shoots could emerge directly without an intervening callus phase from cotyledon (4-5 WAP). Shoots emerged from epicotyl were weak and vitrous due to hyperhydricity, thus they can not be used for micropropagation. Cotyledons cultured in media MS + 1.0 mg BAP L-1 + 0.5 mg Kinetin L-1 + 0.5 mg NAA L-1or media MS + 1.0 mg BAP L-1 + 1.0 mg Kinetin L-1 + 0.5 mg NAA L-1gave the highest percentage of explant forming adventitious shoot (38.8 and 26.3%), highest efficiency of shoot formation (62.5 dan 72.5%), and highest numbers of leaves (value of 1.9 leaves shoot-1) and roots (1.1 roots shoot-1) compared to other media. Since shoot height and number of leaves and root were not significantly different in both media, thus cotyledon and media MS + 1.0 mg BAP L-1 + 0.5 mg Kinetin L-1+ 0.5 mg NAA L-1which was less in Kinetin is suggested to be used for pummelo micropropagation
Efficacy of Protein, Symbiotic and Probiotic Supplementation on Body Performance and Organs Weight in Molted Layers
Two hundred White Leg Horn Layers (70 week age) were arranged and brought to the poultry research station, Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Four groups were made (n=50 each) into keeping G1 as control (CP 16%, No other supplement), G2 (CP 18% diet), G3 (CP16% diet; symbiotic @ 85 mg L-1/day) and G4 (CP 16% diet; probiotic @ 85 mg L-1/day). The body and organs (heart, liver, spleen, kidney, brain and pituitary) weight from fifteen birds in each group at 5% (5P), peak (PP) and end (EP) of post molt production stage were determined. The overall mean heart weight in G2 and pituitary weight in G2 and G3 reduced (P≤0.05) as compared to G1. The mean kidney weight found increased (P≤0.05) in G3 and G4 as compared to G1. Temperature Dependent Polarized XANES Spectra for Zn-doped LSCO system
The cuprates seem to exhibit statistics, dimensionality and phase transitions
in novel ways. The nature of excitations [i.e. quasiparticle or collective],
spin-charge separation, stripes [static and dynamics], inhomogeneities,
psuedogap, effect of impurity dopings [e.g. Zn, Ni] and any other phenomenon in
these materials must be consistently understood. Zn-doped LSCO single crystal
were grown by TSFZ technique. Temperature dependent Polarized XANES [near edge
local structure] spectra were measured at the BL13-B1 [Photon Factory] in the
Flourescence mode from 10 K to 300 K. Since both stripes and nonmagnetic Zn
impurities substituted for Cu give rise to inhomogeneous charge and spin
distribution it is interesting to understand the interplay of Zn impurities and
stripes. To understand these points we have used Zn-doping and some of the
results obtained are as follows: The spectra show a strong dependence with
respect to the polarization angle, , as is evident at any temperature
by comparing the spectra where the electric field vector is parallel with
ab-plane to the one where it is parallel to the c-axis. By using the XANES
[temperature] difference spectra we have determined T* [experimentally we find,
T* 160-170 K] for this sample. The XANES difference spectra shows
that the changes in XANES features are larger in the ab-plane than the c-axis,
this trend is expected since zinc is doped in the ab-plane at the copper site.
Our study also complements the results in literature namely that zinc doping

Analisis Kapasitas Ruas Sungai Ciliwung Hilir (Gunung Sahari) Terhadap Debit Banjir Serta Penanggulangannya Pada DAS Marina DKI Jakarta
Provinsi DKI Jakarta memiliki luas daerah ± 661,52 Km2, kota DKI Jakarta merupakan dataran rendah yang dialiri oleh 13 sungai yang bermuara ke utara pulau jawa, aliran air di DKI Jakarta sebagian dibuang ke laut dengan sistem gravitasi dan sebagian lagi dengan sistem pompanisasi. Banjir yang setiap tahun yang terjadi di DKI Jakarta tidak lepas dari pengaruh sungai-sungai yang melintasinya. Sungai-sungai besar berhulu di bagian selatan DKI Jakarta yaitu daerah Bogor yang mempunyai ketinggian lebih dari 200 m dpl dan curah hujan tinggi, sehingga DKI Jakarta secara alamiah menjadi daerah tempat berakumulasi air dari hulu sungainya. Kawasan yang rentan terhadap banjir dan genangan adalah Jakarta Utara, khususnya untuk sungai ciliwung gunung sahari karena sungai ciliwung gunung sahari ini melewati beberapa kawasan penting seperti stasiun gambir, Istana Negara, Monas, Balaikota DKI Jakarta, Masjid Istiqlal. Oleh sebab itu di wilayah ini harus mempunyai penanganan khusus, sektor ini sangat vital untuk DKI Jakarta. Pintu Air Hai Lai Marina yang merupakan pintu air pengontrol drainase aliran Sungai Cilliwung serta sebagai pintu pasang surut (Tidal Gate) terletak di hilir aliran kali Cilliwung Gunung Sahari.Pintu Air ini merupakan pemisah antara Sungai Cilliwung dan Laut Utara Jakarta. Sistem kerja Pintu Air Hai Lai Marina ini tergantung perbedaan antara ketinggian muka air laut dengan muka air Sungai Cilliwung Gunung Sahari. Saat muka air laut tinggi pintu air ini ditutup agar air laut tidak masuk ke dalam aliran Sungai Cilliwung gunung sahari dan jika muka air laut lebih rendah maka pintu air dibuka agar aliran dari Sungai Cilliwung bisa masuk ke laut. Hasil pemodelan untuk kala ulang 5 tahun diperlukan pompa dengan kapasitas total 50m3/dtk untuk menurunkan muka air sungai agar tidak meluap, pemodelan untuk kala ulang 10 tahun diperlukan pompa dengan kapasitas total 60m3/dtk untuk menurunkan muka air sungai agar tidak meluap, pemodelan untuk kala ulang 25 tahun diperlukan pompa dengan kapasitas total 70m3/dtk untuk menurunkan muka air sungai agar tidak meluap
PENGARUH KUALITAS PRODUK DAN LOKASI TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN YOGHURT FRESHTIME (Suatu Survey Pada Konsumen Yoghurt Freshtime di Koperasi Peternak Sapi Bandung Utara (KPSBU) Lembang)
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penurunan penjualan yoghurt Freshtime dalam kurun waktu 2016 hingga 2017. Penurunan penjualan dikarenakan banyaknya bermunculan produk sejenis dipasaran. Semakin tingginya kesadaran masyarakat akan kesehatannya maka berpengaruh pada munculnya beragam olahan susu. Olahan susu terdiri dari susu murni, yoghurt, keju, dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk dan lokasi terhadap keputusan pembelian yoghurt Freshtime.
Metode yang akan digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan, studi di lapangan, dan kuesioner. Adapun ukuran populasinya itu sejumlah 489 orang dengan sampel yang diteliti adalah berjumlah 83 orang. Sedangkan teknik sampling yang digunakan untuk menghitung besarnya ukuran sampel dalam non-probability sampling adalah metode accidental sampling. Hasil analisis, indikator-indikator dan variabel dalam penelitian ini bersifat valid. Faktor yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian adalah variabel lokasi diikuti variabel kualitas produk. Koefisien determinasi yang terlihat pada R Square sebesar 0,601 yang berarti bahwa keputusan pembelian pengaruhnya dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel independen dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitas produk dan lokasi sebesar 60,1% dan sisanya yaitu 39,9% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar model penelitian ini.

High-Dimensional Stochastic Design Optimization by Adaptive-Sparse Polynomial Dimensional Decomposition
This paper presents a novel adaptive-sparse polynomial dimensional
decomposition (PDD) method for stochastic design optimization of complex
systems. The method entails an adaptive-sparse PDD approximation of a
high-dimensional stochastic response for statistical moment and reliability
analyses; a novel integration of the adaptive-sparse PDD approximation and
score functions for estimating the first-order design sensitivities of the
statistical moments and failure probability; and standard gradient-based
optimization algorithms. New analytical formulae are presented for the design
sensitivities that are simultaneously determined along with the moments or the
failure probability. Numerical results stemming from mathematical functions
indicate that the new method provides more computationally efficient design
solutions than the existing methods. Finally, stochastic shape optimization of
a jet engine bracket with 79 variables was performed, demonstrating the power

Karakteristik Karbon Organik Dan Elemen Karbon (Oc Dan Ec) Dalam Pm 2.5 Ambien Di Sekitar Lahan Gambut (Studi Kasus : Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau)
Siak is located in Riau Province where the peatland mainly cover the land. Due to the conversion of peatlands to palm plantations by using fire, air pollution happens frequently in that area.Generally, about 80-90% of the smoke particle size ≤ 2.5 µm (PM 2.5) are produced by combustion. The particle mainly compose of organic carbon (OC) and elemental carbon (EC) which contains 50-60% of the total mass of PM 2.5. Possible source of pollution can be seen from the analysis characterization of organic carbon (OC) and the elements carbon (EC) to obtain a dominant fraction of each parameters which indicates the possibility of the origin of the sources of pollution.The carbonaceous contents of the aerosols (OC and EC) collected in the quartz fiber filters were quantified by using a DRI Model 2001 OC/EC Carbon Analyzer, which employs thermal optical reflectance following the IMPROVE_A protocol. The aim of this research is to identify the concentration of PM 2.5, OC and EC and also to determinate the dominant pollutant source of PM 2.5 in Peatlands area in Siak.The results shows that the highest concentration of PM 2.5 is 55.703 µg/m3. This figure is compared with the quality standard for the 24-hour measurement of PM2.5 in Indonesian Government Regulation No. 41 of 1999 on air pollution control, is still below the quality standard (<65 µg/m3). The composition of organic carbon (OC) and elemental carbon (EC) are also analyzed. Contributions OC to the concentration of PM 2.5 is 13.99 ± 5.93% with OC3 as the dominant fraction and EC1 is 11.29 ± 5.17 %, which has an average concentration OC3 5.15 ± 2.50 µg/m3 and EC1 4.06 ± 1.91 µg/m3. From the results above, it can be concluded that the dominant form of OC3 fractions is derived from cooking profile while the EC1 is derived from vehicles. The data is then analyzed through technique descriptive qualitative analysis of each sentence is a load of romanticism found in song lyrics by rossa to be shown and reinforced with evidence.
