    The Use of Kaizala as English Teaching Learning Tool during Covid-19 at SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong

    The background in this research departs from concerns of Covid-19 pandemic which has made all teaching and learning activities having to be carried out online. Hence in order to decide the spread of the Covid-19 virus, SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong follows the policy of the government to carry out the online learning process. Therefore, using learning tool during the online learning process could be the best alternative choice in order that the teaching and learning process could continue as optimally as possible. One of them is Kaizala. This study aims to elaborate the use of the Kaizala application as a learning tool during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong.This researchisa qualitative descriptive. The instruments are interviews, online questionnaires, and observations. The result are the strength of Kaizala are flexible, has a feature to facilitate teaching and learning activities, and easy to use. Meanwhile the weakness are signal and decrease oral communication.The problem found from using Kaizala is technical and motivation/interest problems. There stages of using Kaizala are create a group, set the rules, set up class use, and assign tasks

    Abstrak : DR (HC) Ir. Ciputra memaparkan setiap tahun perguruan tinggi di Indonesia menghasilkan lebih dari 300.000 lulusan, namun daya serap lapangan kerja untuk mereka terlalu sedikit, sehingga terdapat lebih dari 740.000 lulusan perguruan tinggi yang menganggur. Fenomena tersebut terjadi karena pendidikan tinggi selama ini lebih mendidik mahasiswanya untuk dapat diserap oleh lapangan pekerjaan bukan mendidik kemandirian, sehingga perguruan tinggi lebih berkonstribusi mencetak lulusan sarjana yang menjadi pencari kerja (job seeker) daripada pencipta lapangan kerja (job creator). (www.ciputra.org)Bertolak dari permasalahan tersebut, diperoleh sebuah alternatif untuk membekali mahasiswa TP dengan materi entrepreneurship untuk menunjang mata kuliah produksi khususnya produksi media audio pembelajaran, agar produk yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang bagus serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan pendidikan sekaligus dapat mendistribusikan produk mereka.Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode pengembangan kurikulum Hilda Taba yang terdiri atas: (1) Menghasilkan unit-unit percobaan (pilot unit) melalui langkah-langkah: (a) Mendiagnosis kebutuhan (b) Memformulasikan tujuan (c) Memilih isi (d) Mengorganisasi isi (e) Memilih pengalaman belajar (f) Mengorganisasi pengalaman belajar (g) Menentukan alat evaluasi serta prosedur yang harus dilakukan siswa (h) Menguji keseimbangan isi kurikulum. (2) Menguji coba unit eksperimen untuk memperoleh data dalam rangka menemukan validitas dan kelayakan penggunaannya. (3) Merevisi dan mengonsolidasikan unit-unit eksperimen berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dalam uji coba (4) Mengembangkan keseluruhan kerangka kurikulum. (5) Implementasi dan diseminasi kurikulum yang teruji.Berdasarkan pemaparan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, maka diketahui bahwa kurikulum mata kuliah kewirausahaan dengan konten mata kuliah pengembangan media audio untuk mahasiswa prodi Teknologi Pendidikan FIP Unesa telah dikembangkan. Hasil penilaian dari validator ahli materi media audio “baik” dengan prosentase 71,75%, penilaian ahli materi kewirausahaan “baik” dengan prosentase 73,5%, sedangkan penilaian validator ahli pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran “baik” dengan prosentase 77, 5%.  Kata kunci: Jumlah pengangguran, keterampilan produksi mahasiswa, pengembangan kurikulum, keterampilan entrepreneurship

    This proceeding contains articles on the various ideas of the academic community presented at The 3rd International Conference on Community Engagement and Education for Sustainable Development (ICCEESD 2022) organized by the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia on 7th-8th December 2022.Ā  ICCEESD is a biannual forum for sharing, benchmarking, and discussing HEIā€™s activities in developing Education for Sustainable Development towards community engagement. Education for Sustainability as a teaching strategy for resolving community challenges through formal, informal, or non-formal education is expected to benefit from various community service best practices by academics, researchers, and students. The 3rd ICCEESD has ā€œStrengthening Education for Sustainability Towards Better Community Engagementā€ as its theme this year.
