PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PREVIEW, QUESTION, READ, SUMMARIZE, TEST (PQRST) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS V UPTD SDN 7 PAREPARE
The goal of this study was to determine how the PQRST Model's use enhances 5th grade UPTD SDN 7 Parepare students' reading comprehension learning achievement. Classroom action research employing the Kemmis & McTaggart Model and a qualitative methodology is the research method used. In this study, which was conducted at UPTD SDN 7 Parepare, teachers and students from 5th grade served as the research subjects. Tests, observations, and documentation are used in data gathering approaches. Data condensing, data presenting, and conclusion drafting are the analysis techniques used, which are subsequently processed using a qualitative approach. The research's findings indicate that using the PQRST paradigm improves students' learning achievement in reading comprehension. According to the results, there was an improvement in the learning achievement that students were able to achieve through the PQRST model. In the 1st cycle, where teacher observations yielded qualification C and student observations yielded qualification C, and where 68.4% of student learning test results were fully completed. 2nd cycle teacher observation results received B grades, as did student observations with B grades and student learning test scores, which were 80% complete. Data on student mastery of learning achievement improved by 11.6% as a percentage. The study's findings suggest that applying the PQRST model can improve the process and learning results of fifth-grade students' comprehension of UPTD SDN 7 Parepare. The expected results of this study will be useful for students, teachers and future researchers
