A Search Strategy of Level-Based Flooding for the Internet of Things
This paper deals with the query problem in the Internet of Things (IoT).
Flooding is an important query strategy. However, original flooding is prone to
cause heavy network loads. To address this problem, we propose a variant of
flooding, called Level-Based Flooding (LBF). With LBF, the whole network is
divided into several levels according to the distances (i.e., hops) between the
sensor nodes and the sink node. The sink node knows the level information of
each node. Query packets are broadcast in the network according to the levels
of nodes. Upon receiving a query packet, sensor nodes decide how to process it
according to the percentage of neighbors that have processed it. When the
target node receives the query packet, it sends its data back to the sink node
via random walk. We show by extensive simulations that the performance of LBF
in terms of cost and latency is much better than that of original flooding, and
LBF can be used in IoT of different scales
THE ASSESSMENT INDICATORS OF TOURISM ECOSYSTEM HEALTH
The tourism ecosystem is the kind of special ecosystem in which destination residents, the external tourists and its surrounding environment are tightly interacted, and it is also the nature -economy-society complex that mainly carries out the tourism activity. As a multiplexed system, the tourism ecosystem also has the healthy problems. From the angle of forced system, this paper analyzes reasons of the system’s healthy problems and successfully builds tourism ecosystem health evaluating indicator system with the utilization pressure, the state, the response model. Besides, this paper carries on the synthetic evaluation and the analysis to the tourism ecosystem health's indicator system through bestowing on the weights, which proposes the new research mentality for the tourism sustainable development. Moral Judgment Competence Between Systems and Administration Students
It is assumed that the university education positively impacts the student’s moral reasoning. The purpose of this research was to examine the Moral judgment competence MJC between systems and management students at a public university in Hidalgo, Mexico. The effectiveness of their curricula and the university years have impact on students’ moral judgment competence. Data was collected through survey exploration with the Moral Judgment Test completed by 272 administration students and 79 systems students of all semesters. The moral judgment competence was evaluated by C index. The C index score was higher for the management than the systems students. The C index score was slightly lower for senior than freshman students. The scholar years did not improve the senior students’ C index, more years of university career were not associated with the senior students’ C index score. Additionally, the results indicated that moral judgment Competence is the same in any gender of the students. Planned moral judgment competence in university curricula is necessary to improve students’ moral reasoning. In this paper, background, theoretical framework, results are discussed

Learning Global Citizenship Skills in a Democratic Setting: An Analysis of the Efficacy of a Moral Development Method Applied in China
To reduce the limitations of current measures of morality, and to focus on an effective approach to moral development among university students, the researchers adopted the Konstanz Method of Dilemma Discussion, to probe whether this type of method can also be applied among Chinese students, regarding the development of moral competence. ‘Moral Competence’, also known as ‘moral-democratic’ competence, is a concept developed by German psychologist, Professor Georg Lind. It is built upon the theories of Kohlberg, yet focuses on moral judgment and democratic decision-making competence. Lind designed a scale based on his dual-aspect theory, and suggested a follow-up method for building up moral competence. KMDD has been used in Germany and other countries for many years and has achieved positive results when applied. The initial application of this type of method in China started in 2012. After more than two years’ of planning and research, we used this method with different groups of Chineseuniversity students and tested its efficacy. Participants were set as the control and experiment groups. After analysing the preand- post-test data from all the participants, the result shows that the intervention effect with experiment groups was very significant with a noticeable Absolute Effect Size of C-score, while the competence score of control group regressed sharply due to reasons to be identified. Data from the experiment were analysed and intervention results were compared, to examine the efficacy of the method and to evaluate further application and research of KMDD in China
