    Row Sport Context in PISA Like Mathematics Problem

    The aim of research was to produce valid, practical and had potential-effect to mathematic literacy ability in PISA like mathematics problem in using row sports context at Asian Games 2018. The research method used development research with development studies type. The subjects of the research were the students with 15 years old of class X SMAN 10 Palembang. The techniques of collecting data were used documentation, walkthrough, test, and interview. This research produced the problem about how the students determined how many benches could be made by only knowing length and width of the boats. The results showed that the problem developed (1) valid from the suitability with the framework PISA regarding content, context, literacy process and level of questions that was connected problems with daily life accordance experts review and one to one stage (2) practical because the problem could be understood by students accordance small group stage, and (3) had a potential effect from the result of analyze the student's answer in mathematical literacy ability with representation and reasoning ability as dominant accordance field test stage

    This study was aimed at producing a learning design that can help the students to understand the concept of cube and cuboid volume using the filling and packing method in the fifth grade of the primary school. The approach used was PMRI. The subjects were the students of the fifth grade of MI Ma\u27had Islamy Palembang, South Sumatera. The study used validation study research design. The results show that the learning design is able to help students in understanding the concept of cube and cuboid volume; the contents of cube and cuboid through the activity of filling, the beams have more volume than the cube through comparing, the concept of the cubes and cuboid volume, the volume of a cube through the activity of packing, a formula of cube volume, the volume of the cuboid through the activity of packing, cuboid volume formula, and the conclusing out of cubes and cuboid formulas

    Pembelajaran Matematika Pokok Bahasan Rata-rata Hitung Menggunakan Pendekatan Pmri Di Kelas VII

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang menggambarkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika pokok bahasan rata-rata hitung menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) di kelas VII.A SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalpinang. Proses pembelajaran, hasil belajar, dan penilaian hasil belajar yang dilakukan berpedoman pada kurikulum 2013. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan (1) keaktifan siswa dalam proses belajar 65% berkategori baik, berdasarkan observasi aktivitas siswa saat proses menunjukkan siswa mendengarkan atau memperhatikan penjelasan guru dan teman dengan aktif, menyelesaikan masalah, membandingkan jawaban atau berdiskusi dengan teman, berani mengkomunikasikan ide, serta bertanya atau menanggapi pertanyaan teman/guru;(2) hasil belajar pada ranah sikap selama proses, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan unjuk kerja dari 33 orang siswa menunjukkan ketuntasan dengan persentase 100%. Hasil belajar pada ranah sikap selama proses pembelajaran menunjukkan siswa mencapai ketuntasan untuk sikap jujur dan tanggungjawab dalam kelompok dengan predikat Baik (B). Hasil belajar keterampilan unjuk kerja dinilai menggunakan instrumen skala penilaian (rating scale). Hasil belajar 33 siswa pada ranah pengetahuan menggunakan tes formatif sebagai instrumen penilaian pengetahuan memberikan umpan Balik bagi USAha perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas, didukung dengan bahan ajar yang menghasilkan tiga strategi siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah terkait rata-rata yaitu menggunakan rumus rata-rata, leveling, dan ‘tebak dan cek\u27 (guess and check).     Design Study: Integer Subtraction Operation Teaching Learning Using Multimedia in Primary School

    This study aims to develop a learning trajectory to help students understand concept of subtraction of integers using multimedia in the fourth grade. This study is thematic integrative learning in Curriculum 2013 PMRI based. The method used is design research consists of three stages; preparing for the experiment, design experiment, retrospective analysis. The studied was conducted on 20 students of grade four SDN 1 Muara Batun, OKI. The activities of students in this study consisted of six learning trajectories. The first activity asks the students to classify heroism and non-heroism acts, summarize, and classify integers and non-integer. The second activity asks the students to answer the questions in the film given. The third activity asks students to count the remaining gravel in the film. The fourth activity asks students to count remaining spent money in the film. The fifth activity invites students to play rubber seeds in the bag. The last activity asks students to answer the questions in the student worksheet. The media used along the learning activities are a ruler, rubber seed, student worksheet, money, gravel, and film.     Professional Development of Pmri Teachers for Introducing Social Norms

    This paper reports implementation results of designing a workshop for mathematics teacher in introducing classroom social norms. The participants are eight mathematics teachers in primary and junior secondary level. Teachers learned and did some activities about social norms during the workshop. First, they watched an example of learning videos about social norms. Then they discussed and shared in the group about their experiences in using social norms in the classroom. Finally, they made a commitment to try their knowledge about social norms in their classroom. This research used the design research method. Data were collected using videotaped, interview, and focus group discussion and were analyzed qualitatively. Results show that: (1) Teachers satisfied in following all activities relating to the social norms in the workshop. (2) Teachers realized that they had used some activities of social norms such as guiding students to communicate, asking questions and giving argumentation. (3) Teachers have more confidence to use social norms in their mathematics classroom

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan soal matematika serupa PISAmenggunakan konteks Lari yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial. Metode yangdigunakan adalah development research. Proses pengembangan dilakukan dalam duatahapan, yaitu Preliminary dan prototyping. Pada tahapan prototyping (formative evaluation)dibagi menjadi fase self evaluation, expert review & one-to-one, small group, dan field test.Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, walkthrough, dokumentasidan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriftif kualitatif. Kesimpulan daripenelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1)Peneliti menemukan beberapa strategi berbeda yangdilakukan oleh siswa untuk menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan; (2) Beberapa siswa memilikikemampuan dasar matematika yang baik dalam menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan, sepertikemampuan komunikasi, penalaran dan argumen, merumuskan strategi untuk menyelesaikanmasalah, dan melakukan operasi; (3) peneliti menemukan beberapa siswa yang melakukankesalahan pada penjumlahan bilangan desimal dan kesalahan dalam menkonversikan satuanwaktu, seperti menkonversikan detik ke jam

    This study aims to investigate how set model can help students\u27 understanding of addition of integers in fourth grade. The study has been carried out to 23 students and a teacher of IVC SD Iba Palembang in January 2015.
