    Peningkatan Pencapaian Belajar Matematika Menggunakan Strategi Tandur

    This research aims at revealing learning achievement using Tandur Strategy. The research made use of descriptive and inferential analyses using ANAKOVA. The results of the research showed that: (1) students who were taught using Tandur strategy on the topic of Linier Program have finished classical comprehension, while students who were taught conventionally have not finished classical comprehension; (2) on the base of Inferential Statistic Analyses using ANAKOVA, the students who were taught using Tandur Strategy was different significantly from the students who were taught using conventional learning model. These analyses revealed that the result of study of the students who followed Linier Program Learning using Tandur Strategy were better than those who joined Linier Program Learning using conventional model in Mathematics

Its show that correction to the Newton's first and second law appear if we assume that the phase space has symplectic structure consistent with the rules of comutation of the noncomutative quantum mechanics. In the free particle and harmonic oscillator case the equations of motion are derived on basis of the modified Newton's second law in a noncomutative phase space

    Identifikasi Model Mental Siswa SMA Kelas X Pada Materi Hukum Newton Tentang Gerak

    This study are aimed to identificate student\u27s mental models of Newton\u27s Law of Motion and its factors that possed for X grade at State Senior High School 5 Yogyakarta. This study measured up by Newton II Law. This is a descriptive research. The population of this research are students of X grade at State Senior High School 5 Yogyakarta, 243 students. This sample selected 101 students by purposive sampling technique. This study used test and non-test methods. Two tier multiple choice diagnostic test used to find coceptual understanding (step I) and identificate the student\u27s mental models (step II). The questionnaire used to identificate the factors that possed the student\u27s mental models. In addition, interview holded for confirm the student\u27s answers. The results found that students have three determined mental models. The students have Newtonian model with 18%, the most student used Hybrid model with 24%,Ariestotelian model with 11% and another model with 47%. Student\u27s mental models influenced by experiment with 10%, student even see the same case 6% and 30% is learning from physics book. There are 54% of student\u27s mental models influenced by another factor, such as logical resoaning ang teacher\u27s explanation

    This research intents on knowing: (1) the effectivity of inquiry learning model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content toward critical thinking skill of students on heat and temperature material. (2) the increasing of critical thinking skill of the students who join the lesson using inquiry model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content on heat and temperature material. The research used a quasi experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The population were the tenth grade students of SMA N 1 Piyungan years 2013/2014. The subject of the study are class XC and XD which chosed by purposive sampling technique. Instrument to examine critical thinking skill of the student was essay questions. Data was collected by test and analyzed using descriptive statistics and normalized gain (N-gain). The results showed that: (1) there is possitive effect between inquiry learning model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content toward critical thinking skill of students on heat and temperature material. (2) the increasing of critical thinking skill of the students who join the lesson with inquiry learning model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content on heat and temperature material is hingher than control class with average posttest score 60,65 and N-Gain 0,316

    This study aims to develop the module based Integrated science environment technology society (SETS), knowing the quality of modules according to matter experts, media specialists and science teachers SMP / MTs, as well as the response of students to the module. Integrated Science is the study or the development of Research and Development (R & D) procedural models, the model is descriptive, showing the steps to be followed to produce the product. The procedure follows the development of Borg and Gall procedures that can be done more simply by involving five major steps: 1) to analyze the product to be developed; 2) develop the initial product, 3) validation of the expert and revision, 4) small-scale field trials and revision of the product; 5) large- scale field trials and the final product. The results of the module-based Integrated Science (SETS) with the theme of biogas technology. Based on an assessment matter experts, media specialists and science teachers SMP/MTs module Integrated IPA has developed a very good quality with score of 87.69 of the ideal of matter experts, 76.78 of the ideal score of media expert, and 77.75 of the ideal score of teacher SMP/MTs.     Soil is growing media for plant growth. It preserves water and nutrients for plants. The physical changes in soil affect the life of roots and plant performances. The goal of research was to change physical condition in soil through mulching for increasing pepper plant production. Land for pepper cultivation was mulched using rice straws and plastic sheet (PE). Physical condition such as soil suhue and humidity and content of organic matters in the soil were measured or examined. Also, production components such as plant height and stalk diameter were measured as well as fruit production. The result showed that mulching increased significantly soil suhue and humidity as well as content of organic matters in the soil. Mulching increased plat height, diameter of stalk, and fruit production, especially in using rice straws Therefore, mulching have a role in increasing growth and production pepper fruit through modification of physical condition in soil

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul IPA Terpadu berbasis sains-lingkungan- teknologi-masyarakat (salingtemas) yang dipecahkan dengan penelitian pengembangan model prosedural. Prosedur pengembangan sesuai dengan prosedur Borg dan Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi lima langkah: 1) melakukan analisis produk yang akan dikembangkan; 2) mengembangkan produk awal; 3) validasi ahli dan revisi; 4) uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi produk; 5) uji coba lapangan skala besar dan produk akhir. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru IPA SMP/MTs modul IPA Terpadu yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas sangat baik dengan rincian 87,69% dari ahli materi, 76,78% dari ahli media, dan 77,75% dari guru SMP/MTs. Respons siswa pada uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan uji coba lapangan skala besar mendapatkan respons yang sangat setuju 78,75% dari uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan 81,17% dari uji coba lapangan skala besa

    Moral crisis that hit the Indonesian nation in recent years, not only experienced by the non-educated, even now many intellectuals struck. One reason is the education process has not integrate the knowledge and values. So far, the role of knowledge including mathematics no more left brain only serve that only requires logical thinking skills that equip students only smart but do not equip students are smart. This is because mathematics is the cornerstone of scientific thinking which is separated from the value, but it affects the attitudes and behavior of people in decisions and actions. If early planting religiosity values elaborated with knowledge of Mathematics, it will give birth to light pious people who can bring change to glory. The purpose of this study was decrypt the prototype model of a religious character education based on knowledge of school mathematics. This study uses a model of the 4D development Thiagarajan consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Desseminate. The subject of the study was mathematics schools and Instructional Materials Development (PBA), which developed into a religious character-based educational materials school math knowledge. While the test subjects are mathematics education students who have taken the PBA in the year 2013/2014. Expected results of research are educational teaching materials produced prototypes built religious character of the school of mathematical knowledge.
