Investors as shareholder has motivation for increasing their wealth through dividend that they would received or for increasing their investment value through increasing of their share in the market. Financing decision and investment decision is the very important information for investors, because these decisions are the basic decisions to reach the net earnings target and then become a base to determine the dividend payment. This study had samples for 270 companies in period of 2009 till 2011, where the method of analysis for hypothesis testing is using logistic regression method. This study found that, partially, the financing decision had significant relationships to dividend policy. And as general, this study found that, the samples by this study, tend to use less external financing but had more tangible assets

Laba Per Saham dan Ukuran : Karakteristik Pembayar Dividen ?

Dividend is the main component of return that is very expected by investors, beside of capital gain. Also, the size of company could become as contribute variable to determine the amount of dividend payment. This study had samples for 378 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period of 2009 till 2011, conducting logistic regression analysis and paired samples t test. The result of study shows that, earnings per share had significant relationship with the amount of dividend payent, while size of company had not. The controversy of size's result is analyzed further based on companies who had paid the dividend, and found that, size of company is one of characteristics of companies who paid dividend. More analysis conducted to earnings per share, it is found that, companies who paid dividend have characteristics such as higher net income and less outstanding shares. In the last confirmation, this study found that, companies who always paid dividend were not a type of cash cow companies

The capital structure policy by an entity is still a question specially in the context of investment policy and if related to market timing. The question is still exist because the entity faced by two options of financing which are internal financing (capital) and external financing (debt). This study is using data from the samples of 241 entities listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period of 2009 till 2012 making the total of observed data are 964. Conducting multiple regression analysis, this study conclude that, the effect of pecking order, trade off and market timing are not absolute for all conditions of entities, because the entities will take decision for capital structure policy based on its conditions such as internally or externally. Does Maturity Signals High Risk and High Return?

The objective of this study is to examine the interaction between firm maturity and firm growth opportunities over risk and its impact on returns. This study uses 135 firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2010 to 2016 as sample which gives 945 as total observed data. This study conducts path analysis in term for hypothesis testing and finds that firm maturity has significant role to increase the risk which gives impact on increasing the returns. In context of Indonesian firms, the findings imply that mature firms will have higher risk and higher returns

In presenting a good financial governance, the Local Government must be able to present the financial statements in accordance with the local government Permendagri 13 of 2006 and the Government Accounting Standards ( SAP ) . To obtain these results certainly not out of the factors that support the implementation of the financial statements as rules / regulat ions, education, experience, commitment to employees, and supporting tools that support the creation of the ability of the involved parties in the preparation of the financial statements of Local Government.The purpose of this research aim to know the influence of competence and independence with quality audit regional inspectorate officers as financial control in the province of North Sulawesi.The Data was collected by survey with questionnaire contain list of question that have to fill by internal auditors in inspectorate as respondent. Technique data analyzing to the test the hypothesis by multiple linear regression using SPSS Ver 19.0.The result by using F-test shows that competence ( X1 ) and independence ( X2) on the test result indicate that the variabel F competence ( X1 ) and independence ( X2 ) has significant correlation with audit quality regional inspectorate officers in the province of north Sulawesi. the result of F test shows that Fhit = 6,016 and Ftab with confidence level 95% df1 ( 2 ) and df2 ( 46 ) is 2,81 at level significance 0,002 t2,014 at level significance 0,000 0,05 it means that independent variable didn't influence with audit quality regional inspectorate officer in the province of north Sulawesi

Penerapan Biaya Kualitas Untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Produksi Pada Dolphin Donut Bakery Manado

Perkembangan dan kompetisi dalam dunia bisnis menuntut Perusahaan untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas. Peningkatan kualitas produk tersebut, akan menimbulkan biaya yang disebut biaya kualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan biaya kualitas dalam meningkatkan efisiensi produksi pada Dolphin Donut Bakery. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang berusaha mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasikan tentang biaya kualitas. Unsur-unsur biaya kualitas pada umumnya ada empat akan tetapi biaya kualitas yang terdapat pada Dolphin Donut Bakery ada tiga unsur biaya kualitas yaitu biaya pencegahan, biaya penilaian, biaya kegagalan internal, sedangkan biaya kegagalan eksternal tidak terdapat pada Perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa biaya kualitas yaitu biaya pemeriksaan bahan baku dan pembantu yang termasuk dalam biaya penilaian dinaikan, karena biaya ini merupakan biaya terkecil dari semua unsur biaya kualitas yang ada di Dolphin Donut Bakery. Kenaikan biaya ini dimaksudkan agar supaya kualitas produk yang dihasilkan Dolphin Donut Bakery juga meningkat dengan asumsi bahwa dengan menambah jumlah karyawan pada saat pemeriksaan bahan baku dan pembantu, maka kemungkinan adanya bahan baku yang berkualitas rendah menurun sehingga produk yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dan akan berdampak pada jumlah penjualan yang naik. Hal ini juga berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi produksi yang meningkat karena kualitas naik diikuti jumlah konsumen bertambah
