Cold Spray metal powder deposition with 9 %Cr-steel applied for the HCPB First Wall fabrication: Proof of concept and options for ODS steel processing
At the KIT a hybrid manufacturing concept for nuclear fusion First Walls is developed combining aspects of conventional and Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies. The state of the art for ITER does not cover all specifications of a DEMO relevant First Wall. Thus, additional R&D-work has been initiated in terms of manufacturing. The AM technology basis used in the presented process combination is Cold Spray metal powder deposition applied in alternation with machining including the feature of filling grooves temporarily with a water-soluble granulate for creation of closed channels and cavities. Thus, the technology provides the option to manufacture shells with a thin gas tight membrane on top of previously machined structures. This membrane is used as pressure seal and makes the joining of shells by Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) into one monolithic body possible. This paper describes the manufacturing process and recalls differences and common aspects with regard to conventional concepts of First Wall manufacturing. The achievement of Technology Readiness Level TRL 3 by mechanical qualification and comparison of the results to other HIP joint experiments is also demonstrated. Finally, an outlook is given concerning integration options of the technology into manufacturing of shells with cooling channel structures using Oxide Dispersion Strengthened (ODS) materials

Expenditures on Mental Health Care in the Czech Republic in 2015
AbstractExpenditures on mental health care in the Czech Republic are not being published regularly, yet they are indispensable for evaluation of the ongoing reform of Czech mental health care. The main objective of this study is to estimate the size of these expenditures in 2015 and make a comparison with the last available figures from the year 2006. The estimation is based on an OECD methodology of health accounts, which structures health care expenditures according to health care functions, provider industries, and payers. The expenditures are further decomposed according to diagnoses, and inputs used in service production. The amount spent on mental health care in 2015 reached more than 13.7 billion Czech korunas (EUR 501.6 million), which represented 4.08% of the total health care expenditures. This ratio is almost identical with the 2006 share (4.14%). There are no significant changes in the relative expenditures on mental health care and in the structure of service provision. The Czech mental health care system remains largely hospital based with most of all mental health care expenditures being spent on inpatient care. Future developments in the expenditures will indicate the success of the current effort to deinstitutionalise mental health care.</jats:p

Aspects of Austenitization for the Bearing Steel Induction Quenching Design
The dissolution of carbides during the heating to the quenching temperature has a significant effect on the martensite oversaturation and the resulting mechanical properties. The kinetics of dissolution can be influenced by various external factors. This work deals with monitoring the carbide dissolution utilizing dilatometer analysis. The austenitization of 100CrMnSi6-4 bearing steel in two initial states was compared—after accelerated spheroidization annealing and conventional soft annealing. The main objective was to determine the amount of undissolved cementite during austenitization in the temperature range where only austenite and cementite are present in the structure. The austenitization temperature determines the degree of cementite dissolution and, consequently, the carbon content in austenite and thus the final properties after quenching. The cementite dissolution was quantified from dilatometric curves and image analysis
Stress Strain Analysis of High Porous Ceramics
The presented paper describes the creation of a computational model of highly porous materials, and a stress-strain analysis is performed. The computational model is created using micro-CT by the finite element method in the ANSYS 12.0 software. The micro-CT slices are converted into a 3D model using image processing. The local equivalent stress (HMH criterion) and struts deformation are analyzed. Commercially available ceramic foam, 85%Al2O3-14%SiO2- 1%MgO, was used in the experiment part of the paper.</jats:p
