Relations of Ph and Sediment Organic Matter Contains to Mangrove Vegetation Revenue in Regency of North Rupat Regency of Bengkalis District Riau Province
The research was conducted in January 2017 in the mangrove ecosystem of North Rupat Subdistrict, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this research was to observe the relationship between sediment pH and organic sediment content with the density of mangrove vegetation. The result of ANOVA test showed pH = 0, organic matter = 1.413 and mangrove density = 2.181 with probability value of 1, 0,314 and 0,194 (> 0,05) then the three variant of population of each variable are identical. Regression test showed the value of pH relationship of sediment and organic matter of sediment to mangrove density was at 0.67%. In the correlation test showed very weak / no significant influence of both parameters on mangrove density in North Rupat Sub-district, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province
Kerang Darah (Anadara Granosa) Abundance In Coastal Water Of Tanjung Balai Asahan North Sumatera
The research was conducted in December 2012 in Tanjung Balai AsahanCity of North Sumatera Province. This research aim was to know the density of A.granosa. The research used survey method. Collection of A. granosa wasconducted once, that is when ebb period. The sampling was based on the quadrantof 1x1 m² lied on the transect line. Each quadrant was divided into 25 subquadrants with each of 20x20 cm².The results showed that the high abundance was recorded at the middleintertidal zone of station I with the average of 48.3 ind/m². There was nodifference in the cockle density between the upper and middle zones. The t testshowed with the result of 0.603 > 0.05 meaning that there was no diffrencebetween the two zones
Correlation of Oil Content and Epiphytic Diatom Density in Seagrasses Leaves Enhalus Acoroides in Rupat Utara Waters Bengkalis Distric Riau Province
This study were conducted in survey method. Four stations were established with three replication of each sampling station. It revealed that oil content in water ranged from (0.4391 – 0.7973) ppm. The highest epiphytic diatom density on the seagrass leaves oppeared in station 4 which accounted 366 ind/cm2, while the lowest 132 ind/cm2 found in station 2. During the study, epiphytic diatom species most commonly found are Isthmia sp, Navicula sp, Skeletonema sp, Ulothrix sp, dan Synedra sp. Statistical analysis showed the oil content and epiphytic diatom density correlation were weak with coefficient of (0.05
Analysis of Biomass and Carbon Stock on Mangrove Forest Ecosytem the Teluk Pulai, Village of Pasir Limau Kapas, Rokan Hilir Riau Province
This research was conducted in April 2016. Sampling was conducted on mangrove forest ecosystems in Teluk Pulai Pasir Limau Kapas Rokan Hilir in Riau Province. The purpose of the research is to analyze the content of carbon in mangrove forest ecosystems as well as to determine the ability to these ecosystems to store carbon per unit area of mangrove forest area in the village of Teluk Pulai. The method used in this study is a survey method, which observation and sampling on the field and do the samples analyzed in the laboratory. Based on the average yield of total biomass of mangrove highest at station 1 is 198.58 ton/ha while the lowest was at station 3 is 68.80 tons/ha. The average yield of total carbon stocks are highest in station 1 with a value of 300.31 tons/ha while the total carbon stock was lowest for the station 3 with a value of 222.74 tons/ha
Patterns Of Distribution Total Suspended Solid (Tss) In River Estuary Kampar Pelalawan
This study was conducted in April 2016 in Kuala Kampar estuary watersPelalawan. The purpose of this study to determine the level of the distributionpattern of suspended solids in the Kampar River Estuary at high tide to the ebband flow toward the post method used in this research is survey method, namelythe study sample was obtained in the field are considered to represent the Islandwaters Mendol, then the samples were analyzed in laboratories to test TSS (TotalSuspended Solid) distribution pattern of total suspended solids in waters KamparRiver Estuary seen that the accumulation of suspended particles at low tide andthe tide heading toward downs, TSS distribution pattern is at the highest value atthe time of ebb tide toward which the values obtained range from 500-1500 mg / l,This indicates that the incoming flow pattern during ebb tide towards very high tothe north. While the TSS distribution pattern that went into the water at low tide tothe obtained value of 700-1100 mg / l where the distribution pattern heading southlocation research
Capability Of Bacterial Methanol Extract Of Seaweed Eucheuma Cottonii Grown On Bacteria Escherichia Coli For In Vitro
This research was held from 1 to 31 August 2015. The samples were collected from Pasir Panjang coast of Karimun Island of Riau Islans Province. The seaweed Eucheuma cottonii is one of the marine commodities that has high economic value and as a source of non-oil income. seaweed contained organic materials such as polysaccharides, hormones, vitamins, minerals and bioactive compounds. Escherichia coli can cause digestive tract disease such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery, diarrhea and worm diseases. The aim of this study was to analyze differences of antibacterial activity of E. cottonii seaweed extract on the growth of E. coli bacteria. Inhibitory ability seaweed extract that is classified by obtaining the average value in the range of 6-8 mm. Antibacterial activity of E. cottonii seaweed extract tends to be bacteriostatic with an average value of 7.08 diameter with the highest obstacle in the extract concentration of 100%. The results showed that the extract of seaweed E. cottonii has the ability to inhibit the activity of E. coli bacterial growth
