The Effect of Problem Posing Approach Towards Students\u27 Mathematical Disposition, Critical & Creative Thinking Ability Based on School Level
The background of this study is the school of the new students of mathematics education courses came from grade high, medium and low. Here the writer wants to see how much influence of the school level on new students\u27 critical thinking skills and creative mathematical. The purpose of this study was to examine differences in new students\u27 mathematical disposition, critical & creative thinking ability through the mathematical problem posing approach based on school level (high, medium, low). The method used in this research is the experimental method, with only posttest design. The population of this study is all the students of mathematics education department in Cimahi; while the sample is selected randomly from one college. Then from this chosen college is taken two samples from random class. The instrument of essay test is used to measure students\u27 critical and mathematical creative thinking ability; while non-test instrument is questionnaire of attitude scale. The results show that: 1) based on the school level (high, medium, and low); there is difference in students\u27 mathematical critical thinking ability through problem posing approach. 2) based on the school level (high, medium, and low); there is difference in the students\u27 mathematical critical thinking ability through problem posing approach. 3) based on the school level (high, medium, and low); there is difference in students\u27 mathematical disposition
ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIK SISWA SMP DI KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT PADA MATERI SEGIEMPAT DAN SEGITIGA
Thinking creative is a thinking process which to produce kinds of idea possibility and the way widely and many to completed a problem, when applied thinking creative, will produce many useful ideas to find the resolver. Creative connects with finding something, about the thing that produces something new with using something that has been there. Research methods will use is descriptive qualitative. As for the sample in this research are seventh grade with high ability, medium and low in Kabupaten Bandung Barat. For the instrument test thinking, the creative ability will deliver to students are five question and following with interview in each student. Then, the results obtained was the level of their thinking creative ability according to their writing test and results of the interview with the low-level students. Critical thinking ability is a process to leads to withdrawal conclusion about what do you believed and action will do. The importance of critical thinking ability on education and that is the main purpose of instructional, there are four importance component for build that ability that is (a) explain and clarify; (b) asking the correct question to clarify or challenge; (c) consider the source of credibility; (d) problem solving and illustrates the conclusion. Method of the research will use is qualitative descriptive. As for the sample in this research is ninth of grade students on Cimahi city from high ability, medium and low. ANALISIS HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA PADA MATERI LINGKARAN
This study aims to analyze connection self-efficacy toward the ability of critical thinking on the material of circe of junior high school students. This research method using the qualitative descriptive method. This research is conducted in SMP Negeri 9 Cimahi in Grade IX of the academic year 2017-2018. The population of this study is the students of class IX SMP Negeri 9 and the subject of the research is all the students of class IX-A that consist of 34 students. To obtain the research data used the instrument in the form of test description and questionnaire self-efficacy. The results of the research concluded: (1) the level of students' mathematical critical thinking ability in the problem solution is still low; (2) students' difficulties, in general, have not understood the problem and the preconception is still low; (3) students have not embedded the sense of learning independently; (4)there are connection which is significant between self-efficacy toward mathematics critical thinking
PENGARUH SELF REGULATED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIS SISWA SMA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMA Desain penelitian ini adalah survey. Untuk mendapatkan data hasil penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan skala self regukated learning siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 13 Jakarta dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI sebanyak 31 siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan terhadap data kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan data self-concept. Instrumen yang digunakan sebanyak 5 soal tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan 30 pernyataan mengenai self regulated learning. Dalam perhitungan ujicoba intrumen menggunakan program axcell 2010 dan perhitungan statistik menggunakan SPSS 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self regulated learning Ă‚Â mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kreatif Ă‚Â matematis siswa
PENGEMBANGAN LOCAL INSTRUCTION THEORY PADA MATERI SEGITIGA DAN SEGIEMPAT TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIK SISWA SMP
The purpose of this research is to develop local instruction theory on triangular and quadrilateral material and examine the improvement of mathematical representation ability by using local instruction theory. The method used in this research is design research method which includes three stages, namely: preliminary design, design experiment and retrospective analysis. The instruments in this study were in the form of tests and non-tests, where the tests used were aimed to determine the improvement of students' mathematical representation ability while non-tests such as interviews and observations were used to develop the local instruction theory. Subjects in this study were 40 junior high school students. The final result of this research is the development of local instruction theory teaching materials that can be used by the teacher to be used as a guide in teaching and the ability of students' mathematical representation in triangular and quadrilateral material is sufficiently increase
PEMBELAJARAN DARING MATERI SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL MELALUI PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL)
This study aims to examine the scenario and implementation of online learning, the reaction of teachers and students to learning, the difficulties felt by students in completing the problem, as well as the obstacles experienced by teachers when doing online learning material system of linear equations two variables using CTL approach. This study is a qualitative descriptive research. This study was conducted on 20 students of SMP Plus Darul Amanah Ciwidey. The results of the study went as planned, the teacher's reaction when the learning process got a score of 94% which included very good criteria, it can be seen from the results of teacher observation sheets carried out each learning meeting, the student's reaction to learning got an average score of 71% with a very good category. The difficulty experienced by students in working on a system of linear equations of two variables lies in the difficulty of skills, concepts, and principles. The obstacles experienced by teachers when carrying out learning are varied such as students who do not have internet quotas, expensive internet payments, signal constraints, lack of student motivation, and lack of supervision from parents during the learning process
ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA MATERI PERSAMAAN LINEAR SATU VARIABEL PADA SISWA SMP
The ability to solve problems is one of the abilities that students need to have in learning mathematics. Especially solving stories or non-routine questions, students really need to have the ability to solve these problems. Therefore, this study aims to determine and examine the ability to solve mathematical problems in solving one-variable linear equation (PLSV) material stories in junior high school students conducted in one of the public junior high schools in the city of Cimahi. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 15 grade VII junior high school students and the data obtained by testing 4 written tests in the form of stories related to everyday life which refers to the steps of problem solving skills, namely finding mathematics from data, making mathematical models from problems. story, planning a settlement strategy, checking the correctness of the answer. From the results of research that has been done that the problem-solving ability of students is still relatively low because students are not accustomed to working on the form of story questions which causes students to find it difficult to determine the steps to be able to solve problems, formulate story questions into mathematical models
WORKSHOP IMPLEMENTASI LESSON STUDY BAGI GURU MA CAHAYA HARAPAN
Guru yang profesional adalah guru yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar dikelas. Lesson study dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam memperbaiki pembelajaran dikelas, sistem ini masih banyak tidak diketahui oleh guru-guru, salah satunya guru-guru di sekolah MA Cahaya Harapan karena berdasarkan wawancara dan hasil analisis angket awal disimpulkan pengetahuan guru mengenai pada sekolah tersebut masih kurang serta guru belum pernah melaksanakan implementasi Lesson Study di kelas. Metode dalam Pengabdian ini berupa penyuluhan serta workshop implementasi Lesson Study, mitra dari pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru seluruh matapelajaran di MA Cahaya Harapan Cisarua yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 hari pada tanggal 24 &27 Januari 2020. Sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan guru diberikan angket dan wawancara untuk mengukur pemahaman guru-guru serta kebermanfaatan Lesson Study. Hasil dari analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahanan guru mengenai Lesson Study menjadi meningkat, serta guru merasakan lesson study sangat bermanfaat untuk perbaikan pembelajaran dikelas. Saran setelah program pengabdian ini yaitu Workshop implementasi lesson study ini dapat dilaksanakan pada cakupan sekolah yang lebih luas agar manfaat lesson study dapat dirasakan oleh banyak gur
PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN ALAT PERAGA PAPAN BERPAKU BAGI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR DI KECAMATAN PANGALENGAN
ABSTRAKPengabdian ini, berdasarkan hasil observasi kami dilapangan, hasil belajar matematika siswa di Sekolah Dasar Masih rendah, padahal pada jenjang ini sangat menentukan keberhasilan belajar pada jenjang selanjutnya. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa SD pada mata pelajaran matematika dikarenakan siswa menganggap matematika adalah pelajaran yang sulit, mereka merasakan kesulitan dalam matematika karena pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar siswa masih belum bisa berpikir abstrak, padahal matematika adalah ilmu yang abstrak. Oleh karena itu pada jenjang sekolah dasar dibutuhkan media berupa alatperga yang dapat membantu siswa membayangkan atau mengilustrasikan konsep-konsep matematika agar konsep matematika lebih mudah dipahami. Keterbatasan alat peraga menjadi salah satu hambatan dalam pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar, selain itu keterbatasan pengetahuan guru mengenai alat peraga menjadi salah satu hal yang harus diperhatikan. Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut, kami bermaksud untuk melakukan penyuluhan kepada guru-guru di beberapa SD di Kecamatan Pangalengan dalam penggunaan alat peraga khususnya pada matapelajaran matematika, diharapkan dengan adanya penyuluhan tersebut pengetahuan guru mengenai alat peraga semakin meningkat yang berimplikasi pada meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa pada matapelajaran matematikaKata Kunci : Alat Peraga, Matematika, Sekolah Dasar ABSTRACTThis dedication, based on our observations in the field, mathematics learning outcomes of students in elementary schools are still low, even though at this level it will determine the success of learning at the next level. The low learning outcomes of elementary school students in mathematics because students consider mathematics a difficult subject, they feel difficulties in mathematics because at the elementary school level students are still unable to think abstractly, even though mathematics is an abstract science. Therefore at the elementary school level media needed in the form of tools that can help students imagine or illustrate mathematical concepts so that mathematical concepts are more easily understood. The limitation of teaching aids is one of the obstacles in learning mathematics in elementary schools, besides the limited knowledge of teachers about teaching aids is one thing that must be considered. Based on this explanation, we intend to conduct counseling for teachers in several elementary schools in Pangalengan District in the use of teaching aids especially in mathematics, it is expected that with this education the teacher's knowledge about teaching aids will increase which has implications for increasing student learning outcomes in mathematics.Keywords: Teaching Aids, Mathematics, Elementary Schoo
