Quality of online information on breast cancer treatment options

Offering breast cancer patients treatment choice has become a priority as the involvement of patients in the decision-making process is associated with improved physical and psychological outcomes. As the Internet is increasingly being used by patients as a source of medical information, it is important to evaluate the quality of information relating to breast cancer on the Internet. We analysed 200 websites returned by google.co.uk searching “breast cancer treatment options” in terms of their typology and treatment options described. These were related to standard measures of health information quality such as the JAMA score and the presence of quality certifications, as well as readability. We found that health portals were of higher quality whilst commercial and professional websites were of poorer quality in terms of JAMA criteria. Overall, readability was higher than previously reported for other conditions, and Google ranked websites with better readability higher. Most websites discussed surgical and medical treatments. Few websites, with a large proportion being of commercial typology, discussed complementary and alternative medicine. Google ranked professional websites low whilst websites from non-profit organizations were promoted in the ranking

Perbedaan Pengaruh Pemberian Latihan Core Stability Dengan Latihan Single Leg Propioseptif Terhadap Keseimbangan Dinamis Pada Siswa SMP Yang Mengikuti Ekstrakurikuler Basket Di Kabupaten Klaten

Background: Extracurricular activities greatly affect the development of children, especially adolescents who are looking for identity. Basketball is one of the extracurricular that much in demand teenagers. Games that require sudden movement and rapid changes require balance when playing. Research Aim: This study aims to determine the effect and effect of core stability exercise with single leg propioceptive to dynamic balance in junior high school students who follow extracurricular basketball in Klaten district. Method of Research: This research uses Quasi Experiment Design, by pre-test and post-test two group design, located at SMP N 3 Klaten and SMP N 4 Klaten, the total sample is 31 people. The data obtained were tested with Paired Sample T-test and One Way Annova Result: The effect test with Paired Sample T-test was obtained before and after training result on core stability and single leg propioceptive training group obtained p-value of 0.000. Because p <α (0,05), Ha is accepted, which means there is influence of core stability and single leg propioceptive exercises on dynamic balance in junior high school students following extracurricular basketball in Klaten district. While the difference test of influence with Independent Sample T-test Annova obtained p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: There is an effect and there is a difference in the effect of core stability exercise with single leg propioceptive to dynamic balance in junior high school students following extracurricular basketball in Klaten district

Based on the provisions made by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), turning ability and zig-zag maneuvers are the main criteria for safety standards for every ship that will sail. This decree was made as an effort to improve sailing skills, especially for ship crew. Calculation of the turning ability of a ship is greatly influenced by the design of the ship\u27s hull and the design of the rudder that will be used on the ship. So the analysis of turning circles and zig-zag maneuvers is the main point that will be carried out in this research. The research was carried out on cast net vessels anchored at the Muara Angke fishing port with the vessel size taken being 60 GT. The standard provisions used in the analysis of turning ability and zig-zag maneuver are based on IMO MSC 137 (76) with the main size of the vessel used as the main research material is LOA=25.7 m, LPP =22.2 m, B=7 m, H=2.3 m, T=1.7 m. With the results obtained by the movement of the fishing vessel which meets standardization based on IMO MSC 137 (76) 2002, the turning circle maneuver has a Tactical Diameter of 46.07 m, with an Advanced value of 56.23 m, with a heading transfer value of 24.48 m, the zig-zag maneuver meets the IMO standard criteria stated for angels 10°/10° and 20°/20° do not exceed 30 second

Fake news or weak science? Visibility and characterization of anti-vaccine webpages returned by Google in different languages and countries

The 1998 Lancet paper by Wakefield et al , despite subsequent retraction and evidence indicating no causal link between vaccinations and autism, triggered significant parental concern. The aim of this study was to analyse the online information available on this topic. Using localized versions of Google, we searched “autism vaccine” in English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin and Arabic and analyzed 200 websites for each search engine result page (SERP). A common feature was the newsworthiness of the topic, with news outlets representing 25-50% of the SERP, followed by unaffiliated websites (blogs, social media) that represented 27-41% and included most of the vaccine-negative websites. Between 12% and 24% of websites had a negative stance on vaccines, while most websites were pro-vaccine (43-70%). However, their ranking by Google varied. While in Google.com the first vaccine-negative website was the 43rd in the SERP, there was one vaccine-negative webpage in the top 10 websites in both the British and Australian localized versions and in French and two in Italian, Portuguese and Mandarin, suggesting that the information quality algorithm used by Google may work better in English. Many webpages mentioned celebrities in the context of the link between vaccines and autism, with Donald Trump most frequently. Few websites (1-5%) promoted complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) but 50-100% of these were also vaccine-negative suggesting that CAM users are more exposed to vaccine-negative information. This analysis highlights the need for monitoring the web for information impacting on vaccine uptake

Financial statements are made as a form of accountability for regional financial management to the general public and also the parties concerned. The preparation of these financial statements is a form of accountability, namely as reporting in realizing organizational goals. Good financial statements certainly meet the normative requirements of financial statement quality. The financial statements of the Local Government of Jepara Regency have received an unqualified opinion eleven times in a row. However, the opinion obtained still receives additional notes, in the sense that this fair opinion without exclusion is accompanied by a special explanatory note as material for improvement in the financial statements of the Regional Government in the future. This study was conducted to examine the influence of ihsan personality, work environment, and partial internal control on the quality of financial statements of the Local Government of Jepara Regency, Central Java.  The population in this study is 65 institutions in Government Organizations that perform accounting and finance functions on. The samples used are 22 Sections which include 17 Government institutions and 5 agencies. The method in this study uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis as well as sampling with non-probability sampling techniques with purposive sampling. The results of this study explain that ihsan's personality has a positive effect on the quality of financial statements. Furthermore, the work environment does not have a positive effect on the quality of financial statements, and the last internal control is obtained to have a positive effect on the quality of financial statements at the Jepara Local Government Organization. This research contribution provides recommendations to local governments to improve transparency, accountability, and integrity in the preparation of financial statements. Efektivitas Penggunaan Game Edukasi yang Tepat untuk Menciptakan Lingkungan Belajar yang Kondusif di Kelas VIII A pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan game edukasi dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif pada materi sistem ekskresi di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Padang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan pendekatan model inkuiri terbimbing yang dilengkapi teknik reward dan punishment. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan game edukasi secara tepat mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kedisiplinan siswa, serta menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif dan kondusif. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan game edukasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran IPA terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan belajar

Penerapan Model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dengan Pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif Siswa Kelas VIII C pada Pembelajaran IPA Materi Sistem Ekskresi di SMP Negeri 1 Padang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA pada materi Sistem Ekskresi melalui penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus di kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Padang, melibatkan 34 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan kognitif siswa, dari rata-rata nilai 68 pada siklus I menjadi 83 pada siklus II. Kombinasi PBL dan TaRL efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, mendorong berpikir kritis, serta memperdalam pemahaman konsep IPA

Bahasa Persuasif pada Iklan Lowongan Pekerjaan Langsa di Media Sosial Instagram

Penelitian yang berjudul Analisis Bahasa Persuasif pada Iklan Lowongan Pekerjaan Langsa di Media Sosial Instagram ini apersuasif bermaksud untuk menganalisis bahasa persuasif yang digunakan pada iklan lowongan pekerjaan yang ada&nbsp; diaplikasi Instagram yang ada di Kota Langsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bahasa persuasif pada iklan lowongan pekerjaan Langsa di media sosial instgaram.&nbsp; Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapaun sumber data pada pada penelitian ini yaitu iklan lowongan pekerjaan pada akun Instagram Loker Langsa. Dari hasil analisis data mengenai bahasa persuasif yang terdapat pada lowongan kerja Langsa di Instagram ditemukan dua jenis bahasa persuasif yang sering digunakan yaitu identifikasi dan sugesti. Ada 10 buah lowongan kerja yang mengandung bahasa persuasif, mulai dari kalimat seru dan kalimat mengajak atau mempengaruhi asal loker yang terdapat bahasa persuasif diantaranya yaitu, (1) BUMN Telkom; (2) Kantor pos; (3) BKKBN&nbsp; Aceh; (4) 9 Buko; (5) Apotek Harapan Kita; (6) Bank Muamalat; (7) BTPN; (8) HS Loundry Express; (9) AET Travel; (10) Kejaksaan Negeri Aceh Besar (11) PNM; (12) Capella Daihatsu; (13) Capella Honda; (14) Kantor Pertanahan; (15) Indomaret. Bahasa persuasif ini sendiri memiliki sifat membujuk secara perlahan agar seseorang yang sedang dibujuk menjadi yakin, sehingga setelah itu seseorang akan lebih mudah terpengaruh dengan informasi yang didapatkan. Dapat disimpulkan&nbsp; bahasa persuasif yang digunakan dalam&nbsp; akun&nbsp; lowongan&nbsp; kerja langsa lebih banyak menggunakan bahasa dengan jenis sugesti dan identifikasi, dan juga menggunakan kalimat ajakan, kalimat seru, kalimat yang menarik dan kalimat berbahasa retoris
