    Negative parity states of 11^{11}B and 11^{11}C and the similarity with $^{12}C

    The negative parity states of 11^{11}B and 11^{11}C were studied based on the calculations of antisymmetrized molecular dynamics(AMD). The calculations well reproduced the experimental strengths of Gamov-Teller(GT), M1M1 and monopole transitions. We, especially, focused on the 3/233/2^-_3 and 5/225/2^-_2 states, for which GT transition strengths were recently measured. The weak M1M1 and GT transitions for the 3/233/2^-_3 in 11^{11}B and 11^{11}C are described by a well-developed cluster structure of 2α2\alpha+tt and 2α2\alpha+3^3He, respectively, while the strong transitions for the 5/225/2^-_2 is characterized by an intrinsic spin excitation with no cluster structure. It was found that the 3/233/2^-_3 state is a dilute cluster state, and its features are similar to those of the 12^{12}C(02+)(0^+_2) which is considered to be a gas state of three α\alpha clusters.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figures, submitterd to Physical Review

    Size distribution, surface coverage, water, carbon, and metal storage of thermokarst lakes in the permafrost zone of the Western Siberia Lowland

    Despite the importance of thermokarst (thaw) lakes of the subarctic zone in regulating greenhouse gas exchange with the atmosphere and the flux of metal pollutants and micro-nutrients to the ocean, the inventory of lake distribution and stock of solutes for the permafrost-affected zone are not available. We quantified the abundance of thermokarst lakes in the continuous, discontinuous, and sporadic permafrost zones of the western Siberian Lowland (WSL) using Landsat-8 scenes collected over the summers of 2013 and 2014. In a territory of 105 million ha, the total number of lakes >0.5 ha is 727,700, with a total surface area of 5.97 million ha, yielding an average lake coverage of 5.69% of the territory. Small lakes (0.5–1.0 ha) constitute about one third of the total number of lakes in the permafrost-bearing zone of WSL, yet their surface area does not exceed 2.9% of the total area of lakes in WSL. The latitudinal pattern of lake number and surface coverage follows the local topography and dominant landscape zones. The role of thermokarst lakes in dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and most trace element storage in the territory of WSL is non-negligible compared to that of rivers. The annual lake storage across the WSL of DOC, Cd, Pb, Cr, and Al constitutes 16%, 34%, 37%, 57%, and 73%, respectively, of their annual delivery by WSL rivers to the Arctic Ocean from the same territory. However, given that the concentrations of DOC and metals in the smallest lakes (<0.5 ha) are much higher than those in the medium and large lakes, the contribution of small lakes to the overall carbon and metal budget may be comparable to, or greater than, their contribution to the water storage. As such, observations at high spatial resolution (<0.5 ha) are needed to constrain the reservoirs and the mobility of carbon and metals in aquatic systems. To upscale the DOC and metal storage in lakes of the whole subarctic, the remote sensing should be coupled with hydrochemical measurements in aquatic systems of boreal plains

    The cohomology groups of line bundles over complex tori (or abelian varieties) are classically studied invariants of these spaces. In this article, we compute the cohomology groups of line bundles over various holomorphic, non-commutative deformations of complex tori. Our analysis interpolates between two extreme cases. The first case is a calculation of the space of (cohomological) theta functions for line bundles over constant, commutative deformations.     I. Birth and death rates of natural cladoceran populations cannot be measured directly. Estimates of these population parameters must be calculated using methods that make assumptions about the form of population growth. These methods generally assume that the population has a stable age distribution. 2. To assess the effect of variable age distributions, we tested six egg ratio methods for estimating birth and death rates with data from thirty-seven laboratory populations of Daphnia pulicaria. The populations were grown under constant conditions, but the initial age distributions and egg ratios of the populations varied. Actual death rates were virtually zero, so the difference between the estimated and actual death rates measured the error in both birth and death rate estimates. 3. The results demonstrate that unstable population structures may produce large errors in the birth and death rates estimated by any of these methods. Among the methods tested, Taylor and Slatkin's formula and Paloheimo's formula were most reliable for the experimental data. 4. Further analyses of three of the methods were made using computer simulations of growth of age-structured populations with initially unstable age distributions. These analyses show that the time interval between sampling strongly influences the reliability of birth and death rate estimates. At a sampling interval of 2.5 days (equal to the duration of the egg stage), Paloheimo's formula was most accurate. At longer intervals (7.5–10 days), Taylor and Slatkin's formula which includes information on population structure was most accurate

    Microbiological monitoring as a component of efficient prevention and treatment of purulent-septic infections in an orthopedics and traumatology department

    Efficient monitoring of circulating purulent-septic infectious agents in a clinical setting and a study on antibiotic susceptibility of isolated strains of microorganisms allows identifying changes in the pathogen structure and trends in antibiotic resistance development, which helps to determine the tactics of antibacterial therapy and elaborate appropriate measures. The aim of the study. Retrospective analysis of the results of microbiological monitoring of purulent-septic infectious (PSI) agents in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department (OTD) of the Zaporizhzhia Central Ambulance and Emergency Care Hospital over the period 2017–2020 to determine the main antibacterial drugs for empirical therapy. Materials and methods. We analyzed the bacteriological test results of 664 clinical material samples obtained from OTD patients using bacteriological examination statistical reporting and analytical data of the WHONET 5.6 software. Results. The main PSI pathogens in the OTD were from the ESKAPE group: E. coli, S. aureus, K. pneumoniae, A. baumannii, E. faecalis, P. aeruginosa and S. epidermidis, P. mirabilis, C. amycolatum. Isolates of E. faecalis were sensitive to vancomycin, linezolid, S. aureus – to linezolid, tigecycline, netilmicin, A. baumannii – to tigecycline. All P. aeruginosa strains were resistant to ticarcillin/clavulanate, cefepime, chloramphenicol, imipenem, meropenem, aztreonam, ciprofloxacin. E. coli and K. pneumoniae were resistant to ampicillin, ticarcillin/clavulanate, aztreonam, ceftriaxone, cefepime. The number of isolates sensitive to piperacillin/tazobactam, carbapenems, levofloxacin, gentamicin, amikacin, chloramphenicol ranged from 37 % to 65 %. Conclusions. E. coli, S. aureus, K. pneumoniae, A. baumannii, E. faecalis, P. aeruginosa, S. epidermidis, P. mirabilis, C. amycolatum play an important role in the structure of PSI pathogens in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Zaporizhzhia Central Ambulance and Emergency Care Hospital. The antibiotics of choice as the antibacterial empirical therapy for enterococcal infections are vancomycin, linezolid, for staphylococcal infections – vancomycin, linezolid, tigecycline, netilmicin. PSI pathogens continually evolve developing antibiotic resistance, and it is of particular importance to monitor antibiotic susceptibility of microorganisms within the OTD

We describe all infinitesimal super Poincar\'e invariant deformations of equations of motion of ten-dimensional super Yang-Mills theory and its reduction to a point; we discuss the extension of them to formal deformations. Our methods are based on homological algebra, in particular, on the theory of L-infinity and A-infinity algebras.     Моніторинг продуктивних та біохімічних показників молоді Clarias gariepinus за згодовування кормів Skretting та Ройчер АКВА в експери-ментальних умовах

    The article presents the results of monitoring the productive and biochemical indicators of the growth rate of young clary catfish using dry extruded complete feed for fish, which have proven to be best adapted for use at all stages of growing clary catfish, namely: Skretting and Roycher AQUA in experimental conditions. The research was conducted in the educational and experimental laboratories of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University from 2019 to 2021. For the experiment, we used the young of the African marble clary catfish (Clarias gariepinus), purchased from one of the fish farms in the Odesa region. Clary catfish fry was kept in four rectangular plastic containers for 90 liters of freshwater. The tanks were two-thirds full (60 liters). The water temperature was maintained at 26 °C. For the experiment, 120 fries were used, which were kept in four plastic tanks by the method of analogs of 30 specimens each. Given that the fry differed in weight (for experiment 1 we selected fry with higher weight, and for experiment 2 – with lower weight), they were divided on the principle of analogs into two experimental and two control groups. Based on the results of monitoring in Experiment 1, fish observations, and mathematical calculation, we found that the feed ratio when fed Skretting and Roycher AQUA starter feed is 0.74 and 0.99 %, respectively. Based on the results of monitoring, fish observations, and mathematical calculation, it was found that the feed ratio in experiment 2 when feeding starter feed Skretting and Roycher AQUA is 0.75 and 1.54&nbsp;%, respectively. The high feed rate for the use of Roycher AQUA can be explained by overuse due to the grinding of the granules. Growing aquaculture facilities in an artificially formed system – production, allows you to get environmentally friendly fish products all year round. This is a very important criterion in modern environmental conditions.У статті наведено результати моніторингу продуктивних та біохімічних показників темпу росту молоді кларієвого сома за використання сухих екструдованих повнораціональних кормів для риб, які зарекомендували себе як максимально адаптовані для застосування на всіх етапах вирощування кларієвого сома, а саме: Skretting та Ройчер АКВА в експериментальних умовах. Дослідження проводили у навчально-експериментальних лабораторіях Білоцерківського національного аграрного університету з 2019 по 2021 рр. Для досліду нами використано молодь африканського мармурового кларієвого сома (Clarias gariepinus), придбаного в одному із риборозплідників Одеської області. Мальків кларієвого сома утримували у чотирьох прямокутних пластикових ємкостях на 90 л прісної води. Резервуари були наповнені на дві третини (60 л). Температуру води підтримували в межах 26 °С. Для досліду використано 120 мальків, які утримувались у чотирьох пластикових резервуарах за методом аналогів по 30 екземплярів у кожному. Враховуючи те, що мальки різнилися за масою (для досліду 1 нами відібрано мальки з більшою масою, а для досліду 2 – з меншою масою), їх розподілили за принципом аналогів на дві дослідні та дві контрольні групи. Опираючись на результати проведеного моніторингу в досліді 1, спостережень за рибою та математичного розрахунку, ми встановили, що кормовий коефіцієнт при годівлі стартовими кормами Skretting та Ройчер АКВА становить 0,74 та 0,99 % відповідно. Опираючись на результати проведеного моніторингу, спостережень за рибою та математичного розрахунку, встановили, що кормовий коефіцієнт у досліді 2 при годівлі стартовими кормами Skretting та Ройчер АКВА становить 0,75 та 1,54 % відповідно. Високий кормовий коефіцієнт за використання Ройчер АКВА можна пояснити перевикористанням через подрібнення гранули. Вирощування об’єктів аквакультури в штучно сформованій системі – виробництво, дозволяє отримувати екологічно чисту рибну продукцію цілий рік. Це дуже важливий критерій в сучасних екологічних умовах

    Magnetic Gaps related to Spin Glass Order in Fermionic Systems

    We provide evidence for spin glass related magnetic gaps in the fermionic density of states below the freezing temperature. Model calculations are presented and proposed to be relevant for explaining resistivity measurements which observe a crossover from variable-range- to activated behavior. The magnetic field dependence of a hardgap and the low temperature decay of the density of states are given. In models with fermion transport a new metal-insulator transition is predicted to occur due to the spin-glass gap, anteceding the spin glass to quantum paramagnet transition at smaller spin density.
