Penerapan Strategi Pemecahan Masalah Dalam Pembelajaran Kooperatif Pendekatan Struktural Think Pair Share (Tps) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Rengat

This is a pre-experimental study that aims to determine the effect of the application of problem-solving strategies in Think Pair Share (TPS) structural approach of cooperative learning for mathematics learning outcomes (MLO) which include attitudes, knowledge, and skills competences. This research was conducted in grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Rengat on odd semester Academic Year (AY) 2014/2015 with the subject matter of numbers pattern. This study design using Intec Group Comparison. The population in this study is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Rengat AY 2014/2015. Samples in this study involved three groups were selected by purposive sampling technique, each of as many as 35 students, VIIB as the first experimental class following study with problem solving strategies in TPS structural approach of cooperative learning (PSSTPS), VIID as the second experimental class following the TPS structural approach of cooperative learning (TPSCL), and VIIC as the controll class following conventional learning (CL). The MLO data of attitude competence taken using self-assessment techniques, whereas knowledge and skills competences taken using math achievement test. This study showed the following results. (1) There are differences in MLO of skills and knowledge competences among learners who follow PSSTPS and learners who follow CL. (2) There are differences in MLO of knowledge competence among learners who follow TPSCL and learners who follow CL. (3) There is no difference in MLO of knowledge and skills competences among learners who follow PSSTPS, TPSCL, and PK in addition to those mentioned in (1) and (2)

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Pendekatan Struktural Numbered Heads Together (Nht) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas Viiic SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci

The form of this research is collaborative classroom action research and aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes with applied the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT). The subject of the research is students of class VIIIC SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci in the second semester academic year 2013/2014 there are 36 students in the class, consist of 17 boys and 19 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. The research consist of two cycles and each cycle has four stages, they are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collected in this research is data on the implementation of the learning process and data on student\u27s mathematics learning outcomes. The technique used to collect data on the implementation of the learning process are observation technique, technique of performance appraisal and assessment technique written test. While The technique used to collect data on student\u27s mathematics learning outcomes is technique written test in the form of daily test. Analysis technique used to analyze the data in this research is descriptive statistical. Criteria for success of the action in this research is an increas in student\u27s mathematics learning outcomes after done action, that the number of student who achieve a score of minimum mastery criteria (MMC) at daily tests I more than student who achieve a score of MMC at basis score and the number of student who achieve a score of MMC at daily tests II more than student who achieve a score of MMC at daily tests I. The number of students who achieve a score of MMC on basic score, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 3%, 14%, and 48%. The learning process during the action given and MMC attainment percentage indicates that the cooperative learning type NHT can improve students mathematics learning outcomes class VIIIC SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci

Penerapan Discovery Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas Viiib SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru

This research based on the students\u27 math achievement on grade VIIIB of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru which under the minimum completeness criteria with percentage 32.14% for math test with linear equations systems of two variables topic and 28.57% for Pythagoras\u27s Theorem topic. The research is classroom action research. The research aims to improve the math learning process and improve math learning result at grade VIIIB of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru with applying the discovery learning. The research subjects were students of class VIIIB SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru which consists of 15 boys and 14 girls in the even semester of 2015/2016 academic years. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and students\u27 math achievement tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative and the students\u27 math achievement tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The result of descriptive narative had showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first cycle and from the first cycle to the second cycle. The result of statistic descriptive had showed an increasing number of students\u27 math achievement from the basic score to the first math test with percentage 22.78% and from the first math test to the second math test with percentage 3.58%. So, the result of this research showed that the implementation of discovery learning can improve the learning process and improve the students\u27 math achievement for grade VIIIB SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru in the even semester of 2015/2016 academic years

Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas X Iis 1 Sman 10 Pekanbaru dengan Menerapkan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Pendekatan Struktural Think Pair Square

This research was based on the unsatisfied process in learning mathematics at grade X IIS 1 of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. It was seen from the low motivation of the students to learn mathematics while the learning process. These problems impact on the number of students who pass the Exponents and Logarithms test with percentage of 2.5%. The research was a Classroom Action Research that aims to improve the learning process and increase the motivation of the students to learn mathematics by implementing Cooperative Learning Approach Structural of Think Pair Square (TPS). There were 40 students in the class consisting 21 boys and 19 girls as the participant of this research. The instruments of data collecting in this research were observation sheets (observation of teacher and students activity and observation of students motivation) and the motivation questionnaire. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the motivation questionnaire were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process and increased the motivation of students to learn mathematics in the class from before to after the action. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test for all indicators of motivation questionnaire obtained , so that and for each indicator of the motivation to learn mathematics obtained . From this test is rejected, in other words, the motivation to learn mathematics at grade X IIS 1 of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru increased after the action. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of Cooperative Learning Approach Structural of TPS can improved the learning process and increased motivation to learn mathematics at grade X IIS 1 of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru on first semester of academic year 2014/2015

Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika dengan Model Discovery Learning sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik SMP Kabupaten Kampar

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis (KPMM) peserta didik dan menerapkan perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum 2013. Perangkat ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model discovery learning untuk meningkatkan KPMM peserta didik. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4-D dengan instrumen validitas berupa lembar validasi silabus, RPP, dan LKPD serta instrumen praktikalitas berupa angket respon peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket dan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kevaliditan dan analisis kepraktisan. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh rata-rata hasil validitas silabus yaitu 96,67%; RPP yaitu 92,68%; LKPD yaitu 96,08%. Rata-rata hasil angket respon peserta didik pada uji coba terbatas adalah 94,04% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah valid dan praktis sebagai upaya meningkatkan KPMM peserta didik
