A Method of Collecting Catocala Minuta (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) and Related Species
Excerpt: During the last twelve years I have \u27sugared\u27 extensively in areas where large honey locusts (Gleditsia triacanthos L.) are abundant. Although the various forms of Catocala innubens Guenee and Stvenoloma lunilinea (Grote) have appeared in my bait traps, Catocah rninuta Edwards has been absent. [C. minuta is taken on Gleditsia in southern Michigan by using a mixture of molasses, brown sugar, beer and,rum-- Ed.] There is, however, amethodof collecting the pupae of C. minuta that I have employed with excellent results
How to Defeat W\"{u}thrich’s Abysmal Embarrassment Argument against Space-Time Structuralism
In his 2009 PSA Recent Ph.D. Award winning contribution to the bi-annual PSA Conference at Pittsburgh in 2008, C. Wu ̈thrich mounted an argument against struc- turalism about space-time in the context of the General Theory of Relativity (GTR), to the effect that structuralists cannot discern space-time points. An “abysmal embarrass- ment” for the structuralist, Wu ̈thrich judged. Wu ̈thrich’s characterisation of space-time structuralism is however incorrect. We demonstrate how, on the basis of a correct char- acterisation of space-time structuralism, it is possible to discern space-time points in the GTR-structures under consideration. Thus Wu ̈thrich’s argument crumbles

Hadron Physics at BABAR
The BaBar experiment at SLAC is designed to measure CP violation in the B
meson system, however the very high statistics combined with the different
electron and positron beam energies, the detector design and the open trigger
allow a wide variety of spectroscopic measurements. We are beginning to tap
this potential via several production mechanisms. Here we present recent
results from initial state radiation, hadronic jets, few body B and D hadron
decays, and interactions in the detector material. We also summarize
measurements relevant to Ds meson spectroscopy, pentaquarks and charmonium
spectroscopy from multiple production mechanisms.Comment: 10 pages, 7 eps figures, contributed to the Proceedings of HADRON0
