Dynamical fermion algorithm for variable actions
A new version of the two-step multi-boson algorithm is developed with
different fermion actions in the multi-boson and noisy Metropolis steps.Comment: 8 pages, 2 figures, more discussion and references include
Embedding the N=2 Supersymmetric Yang-Mills Theory in the Adjoint Higgs-Yukawa Model on the Lattice
The N=2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory is formulated on the lattice. The
feasibility of numerical simulations is discussed.Comment: 11 pages with 1 figure, CERN-TH.7479/9
Violations of universality in a vectorlike extension of the standard model
Violations of universality of couplings in a vectorlike extension of the
standard model with three heavy mirror fermion families are considered. The
recently observed discrepancies between experiments and the standard model in
the hadronic branching fractions and of the Z-boson are explained
by the mixing of fermions with their mirror fermion partners.Comment: latex2e, 11 page
Multi-bosonic algorithms for dynamical fermion simulations
Multi-bosonic fermion simulation algorithms are reviewed, with particular
emphasis on a recent application in SU(2) Yang-Mills theory with light gluinos.Comment: latex, 14 pages; talk given at the workshop "Molecular Dynamics on
Parallel Computers", February 1999, NIC, J\"ulic
Interpolated Lattice Gauge Fields and Chiral Fermions in the Schwinger Model
The effective action induced by fermions in the chiral Schwinger model with
charges (3,4,5) is investigated. Pauli-Villars regularization is combined with
momentum cut-off for the evaluation of the fermion determinants on continuum
gauge fields interpolated between lattice points. The convergence and gauge
variance are studied numerically on gauge configurations taken from quenched
updating.Comment: 11 pages, latex, 2 figures. A new reference is added and the
discussion about the Landau gauge is correcte
Electroweak Phase Transition and Numerical Simulations in the SU(2) Higgs Model
Recent progress in non-perturbative investigations of the electroweak phase
transition is reviewed, with special emphasis on numerical simulations in the
four-dimen\-sional SU(2) Higgs model.Comment: 11 pages, latex, 2 figures. Lecture given at the Colloque
Cosmologie, Paris, June 199
QCD spectroscopy with three light quarks
We report about a simulation using three dynamical Wilson quarks and on the
progress in going to small quark masses.Comment: Lattice2001(spectrum), 3 pages, 4 figure
