    This research is motivated by the lack of motivation to learn civics fourth grade students ofSD Negeri 006 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. This study aims to determine whether themotivation to learn civics fourth grade students of SD Negeri 011 Pagaran TapahDarussalam can be enhanced through the implementation of cooperative learning model TwoStay Two Stray, which is carried out for 1 month. Subjects in this study is the fourth gradestudents of SD Negeri 011 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam 2016-2017 school year the number ofstudents as much as 6 students, consisting of 4 boys and 2 girls. Form of research isclassroom action research. The research instrument consists of instruments and instrumentperformance data collection activity observation sheet form teacher and student activity.Based on the analysis and discussion as presented in chapter IV can be concluded that theapplication of the method two only two guests can enhance students' motivation fourth gradeon the subjects of citizenship education in primary schools Tapah 011 Pagaran Darussalam.It can be seen from changes in student motivation in cycle 1 and cycle 2. Students 'motivationin the first cycle is 15 with an average of 41.7 students' motivation in lower categories and anincrease in cycle 2 to 31 with an average of motivation to learn 86.1 students in the very highcategory.     THE EFFECT OF DZIKIR CONCERNING TO PAIN LEVEL AFTER SURGICAL OPERATION REDUCTION INTERNAL FIXATION (ORIF)

    ABSTRACT Background: Surgical operation of ORIF affect painful which disturb the patient’s comfortable. Dzikir have psychological benefit psichologis which affect comfortable and spiritual feelings focused to Allah, so could give a relaxation effect to percepts pain. Objective: The objectives of this thesis is to find out the effect of dzikir concerning to pain level felt after surgical operation of ORIF in RS Ortopedi Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta. Methods: This thesis was done by true eksperimen by applying randomized control group pre-test post-test design method. The number of sample was 44 respondents were obtained by consecutive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and classified using a simple random sampling to 22 experimental group and 22 control group. Results: The average pain level of the respondents on experimental group after surgical operation of ORIF before gave dzikir was 5.18 and the pain level after dzikir was 4.05. The average pain level pretest of the respondents on control group was 4,82 and pain level of posttest was 4,77. The result of pain level before and after gave dzikir to the experiment groups shows that the significance points 0.001 and 0.317 in the control group. Conclusion: The decrease of pain level in the experimental group were given analgesic therapy and dhikr greater than the control group who were given analgesic therapy. This thesis could be used as reference and consideration for nurse to apply dzikir as a complementary therapy to diminish the pain level to the post-surgical operation patient’s of ORIF.     Analisa Perhitungan Erosi dan Arahan Penggunaan Lahan di Daerah Aliran Sungai Welang Kabupaten Pasuruan Menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG)

    Pernyataan Kementerian Kehutanan yang mengindikasikan 60 kondisi DAS di Indonesia pada umumnya sudah mengalami kerusakan berat sampai sangat berat. Tidak terkecuali DAS Welang yang berada di WS Welang Rejoso, Kabupaten Pasuruan merupakan salah satu DAS kritis dan DAS prioritas yang harus segera ditangani. Studi dilakukan di DAS Welang Hulu, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan perhitungan debit limpasan permukaan dan laju erosi lahan dengan menggunakan peta penggunaan lahan kondisi eksisting. Setelah itu dilakukan penentuan Tingkat Bahaya Erosi. Langkah selanjutnya dilakukan penentuan arahan penggunaan lahan (fungsi kawasan) dan kelas kemampuan lahan. Upaya konservasi lahan secara vegetatif dilakukan dengan mensimulasi penggunaan lahan. Simulasi dilakukan dengan melakukan penambahan hutan tiap 10 % dari luas keseluruhan DAS Welang. Simulasi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan luas hutan yang ideal dan dapat menurunkan laju erosi lahan yang terjadi di DAS Welang. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa erosi total yang terjadi di DAS Welang Hulu sebesar 107.173,974 mm/ha/tahun. Luas lahan yang mengalami TBE sangat ringan seluas 3399,11 ha (20,88 %), TBE ringan seluas 6269,15 ha (38,51 %), TBE sedang seluas 2880,73 ha (17,69 %), TBE berat seluas 2448,88 ha (15,04 %) dan TBE sangat berat seluas 1282,25 ha (7,88 %). Komposisi penggunaan lahan yang sesuai kondisi DAS Welang Hulu yaitu dengan mengusahakan luas hutan sebesar 50 % dari total luas DAS serta merencanakan penggunaan lahan sesuai dengan fungsinya. Adapun rekomendasi penggunaan lahan yang sesuai dengan kondisi DAS Welang hulu yaitu kawasan lindung 523,451 ha (3,22 %), kawasan penyangga 8870,576 ha (54,49 %), kawasan budidaya tanaman tahunan 3481,994 ha (21,39 %), kawasan budidaya tanaman semusim atau permukiman 616,237 ha (3,79 %), hutan 1218,549 ha (7,48 %), area permukiman 1558,491 ha (9,57 %), dan gedung 10,828 ha (0,07 %)

    Trend of Extreme Precipitation Over Sumatera Island for 1981-2010

    Extreme climate events have significant impacts on various sectors such as agriculture, ecosystem, health and energy. The issue would lead to economic losses as well as social problems. This study aims to investigate the trend of extreme precipitation in Sumatera Island based on observed data during 30-year period, 1981–2010. There are ten indices of climate extreme as defined by ETCCDMI, which were tested in this study, including PRCPTOT, SDII, CDD, CWD, R10, R50, R95p, R99p, Rx1day and Rx5day. Then, the trend was analyzed based on the Mann-Kendall statistic, performed on the time series of precipitation data. The result shows that there was positive trend of extreme precipitation found in most stations over Sumatera, either statistically significant or insignificant. In each extreme precipitation indices, the number of observed stations indicating the insignificant change is higher than the significant one. This research also found that some indices including SDII, Rx1day, R50, R95p and R99p, showed a significantly-positive trend followed by a higher intensity of wetter and heavier events of extreme precipitation over Sumatera. On the other hand, the wet spell (CWD) index shows a negative trend (α=0.05)

    PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES PADA SISWA KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

    Pembelajaran di salah satu SD di Kecamatan Sukajadi terhambat oleh keadaan-keadaan berikut: (1) siswa hanya mendapatkan sedikit kesempatan untuk melakukan percobaan/pengamatan dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari; (2) fasilitas belajar kurang memadai, sehingga siswa, dengan beragam cara belajarnya, mengalami keterbatasan saat mengolah data yang didapatkan; (3) siswa kurang memahami materi pembelajaran sebelumnya, sehingga mereka tidak memahami tujuan percobaan/pengamatan yang dilakukan. Keadaan-keadaan tersebut melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian adalah mencari tahu peningkatan keterampilan proses siswa setelah pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik diterapkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Langkah-langkah penelitian terdiri atas perencanan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan lima instrumen, yakni: (1) rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (2) lembar observasi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (3) lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa yang berkenaan dengan pendekatan saintifik; (4) lembar kerja siswa; dan (5) lembar instrumen penilaian siswa. Berdasarkan data pada siklus I, keterampilan proses siswa dalam aspek observasi adalah 70,8%, dan dalam aspek komunikasi 68,6% dengan ketercapaian nilai hasil belajar di bawah KKM, yaitu 69,7. Pada siklus II keterampilan proses siswa dalam aspek observasi mengalami peningkatan sampai 87,9%, dan dalam aspek komunikasi meningkat sampai 84,1% dengan ketercapaian nilai hasil belajar di atas KKM, yaitu 86. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Guru yang akan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran dianjurkan agar memperhatikan alokasi waktu, pengondisian kelas, dan keterlibatan siswa selama pembelajaran. --- The lesson in one Elementary School in Kecamatan Sukajadi is obstructed by these situations: (1) the students only have a slight opportunity to experiment and to observe in class; (2) the insufficiency of facilities hinder the students, with all of their study habit, to process acquired data; (3) the students do not have enough understanding of previous course that they unable to understand the objective of the experiment or the observation. That situations are the background of this research. Therefore, the objective of this research is to find out the students’ processing skills improvement after scientific approach learning implemented. Research method employed here is Classroom Action Research models which based on Kemmis and Mc Taggart’ research design, that consist of two cycles. There are four steps in this research, that is planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. There are five instruments used in this research: (1) grade benchmark; (2) the grade benchmark observation sheet; 3) the teacher and student’ activity observation sheet; (4) the students worksheet; and (5) the students performance assessment sheet. Based on data in cycle I, the students’ processing skills is 70,8% in observation aspect and 68,6% in communication aspect, with grade achivement lower than minimum performance level, that is 69,7. In cycle II the students’ processing skills improves, in observation aspect up to 87,9% and in communication aspect up to 84,1%, with grade achivement higher than minimum performance level, that is 86. The conclusion of this research is scientific approach learning is able to improve third grade students’ processing skills. Teacher who will implement scientific approach learning is suggested to take consideration at time allocation, class conditioning, and students’ involvement in class

    This research aims to determine the implementation of Authentic Assessment in the theme of the beauty of my country with the sub-theme of the natural beauty of my country for class students IV Elementary School 68/1 Kembang Paseban. This research uses a descriptive approach qualitative. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, namely triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of authentic assessment in The theme of the beauty of my country with the sub-theme of the natural beauty of my country for class students IV elementary school 68/1 Kembang Paseban is not yet implemented optimally because experienced several obstacles, including several assessment techniques that still exist assessment techniques that have not been implemented, and teachers assume that they exist teacher assessment feels burdened by the many aspects that will be assessed, and feels lack of time to carry out authentic assessments
