Implementing curriculum of madrasah Tsanawiyah in increasing the quality of pesantren Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Medan
Implementasi Kurikulum Pesantren Madrasah Tsanawiyah dalam
peningkatan mutu di Pesantren Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Medan bertujuan
untuk mengetahui struktur kurikulum pesantren dan pelaksaannya di
madrasah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif
dengan metode deskriptif, yaitu menggali data yang terkait dengan
pelaksanaan kurikulum pesantren dalam proses pembelajaran di
Madrasah Tsanawiyah dan mendeskripsikan data yang ada sesuai dengan
fokus penelitian untuk memperjelas tujuan diadakannya penelitian
tersebut. Adapun permasalahan yang dibahas dalam tulisan ini adalah
bagaimana kurikulum pesantren dan pelaksanaannya di Madrasah
Tsanawiyah Pesantren Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Medan. Hasil yang didapatkan
bahwa secara struktural Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Medan
menerapkan dua kurikulum yaitu kurikulum pendidikan pesantren dan
kurikulum kementerian agama. Kurikulum pendidikan pesantren dibagi
menjadi dua kurikulum. Yang petama adalah yang tidak berkaitan dengan
tata bahasa Arab seperti Al-Qur’an, Hadis, dan Akhlak, ini disebut dengan
kurikulum pesantren. Sedangkan mata pelajaran seperti nahwu dan sharaf
dimasukkan dalam kurikulum bahasa Arab. Dalam pelaksaan kurikulum
pendidikan pesantren tidak jauh berbeda dengan kurikulum Kementerian
agama. Yang mengajar kurikulum pendidikan pesantren adalah guru yang
berkompeten yang mempunyai kualifikasi khusus di bidang agama dan
semua gurunya adalah alumni pesantren. Metode yang digunakan dalam
pembelajaran materi pendidikan pesantren adalah menggunakan metode
bandongan dan sorogan yang dilaksanakan secara klasikal. Metode

Analysis on the leadership ability of the islamic senior high school principal in north sumatera province-indonesia
This study attempted to describe the data analysis on the leadership ability of the Islamic Senior
High School Principal in North Sumatera Province. The research respondent are 205 Principal Islamic Senior
High School. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The research finding denotes the highest
score variable principal's leadership ability is 189, the lowest are 122, and the mean and standard deviation of
154.49 is 15:41, while the highest score of the ideal 238, the lowest score of 34 is ideal, and the ideal mean
score is 136 and the ideal standard deviation is 34. Data tendency principal's leadership ability is 78.54% in
the moderate category, 21,46% in the low category. Thus the leadership ability of the Islamic Senior High
School Principal in North Sumatera Province has a tendency to moderate category
The effects of Islamic general senior secondary school principals’ leadership ability on the effectiveness of madrasah-based management in Indonesia
The purpose of this survey study was to examine the effects of Islamic general senior
secondary school (Madrasah Aliyah) principals’ leadership ability on the effectiveness of school (madrasah)based
management.
A proportional cluster random sample of 205 Principals from 33 districts / cities in North
Sumatra, Indonesia was involved in the study. A questionnaire was used as a research instrument to collect the
data. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and path analysis. The results of the study revealed
that there was a significantly direct effect of Islamic general senior secondary school principals’ leadership
ability on the effectiveness of school (madrasah)-based management in Islamic general senior secondary schools
- equivalent to general senior secondary school managed and run by the Ministry of the national education and
culture- in North Sumatra, Indonesia. This study provides information for policy makers, principals, parents, and
teacher educators to understand how the policy of school (madrasah)-based management is implemented at the
school level. Implications for practice and further research are also discussed
Implementasi Kebijakan Pengembangan Kurikulum Madrasah Aliyah Qismul’Aly Medan
This study aims to find out the steps, characteristics,
monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the curriculum
development policy of Madrasah Aliyah Qismul ‘Aly AlWashliyah in North Sumatra. This study uses qualitative
research methods of policy analysis. The data were gained by
means of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation.
The findings of this study are: a) The steps in developing the
Aliyah Qismul 'Aly Al-Washliyah madrasah curriculum were in
the form of: education policy formulation through the guidance
of the Al-Washliyah Education Council, filed in a Decree (SK),
then being socialized to the regions and Madrasah Aliyah
Qismul 'Aly, b) the characteristics of the implementation of
curriculum development policies for Madrasah Aliyah Qismul'
Aly include the curriculum of Diniyah Al-Washliyah, AlWashliyahan subjects and General Imtihan examinations, c)
Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of policies for the
development of Madrasah Aliyah Qismul curriculum Aly through
the assistance of the Al-Washliyah Education Council and
assisted by madrasah supervisors pointed by the government.

Kebijakan Majelis Pendidikan Al-Washliyah Dalam Pengembangan Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam
Al-Washliyah sebagai salah satu organisasi Islam terbesar di Sumatera Utara memiliki beragam lembaga pendidikan, mulai dari paling rendah berupa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah sampai pada jenjang yang paling tinggi yaitu perguruan tinggi. Peran Majelis Pendidikan Al-Washliyah dalam membuat kebijakan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam sangat urgen. Salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan tujuan pendidikan Islam pada lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Al-Washliyah adalah kebijakan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang diambil oleh Majelis Pendidikan Al-Washliyah. Kebijakan Majelis Pendidikan Al-Washliyah dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam dengan menetapkan pelaksanaan kebijakan dalam bentuk SK (Surat Keputusan).
