Helping Hand for Displaced Farmers

Many farmers have had to give up farming in the past few years as economic conditions in the farm sector worsened. More are expected to leave agriculture over the next couple of years. An evolving set of Federal, State, and local government programs is helping these farmers and their families salvage as much equity and dignity as they can and find other ways of making a living.
