Pathway to Fractional Integrals, Fractional Differential Equations and the Role of H-function
The pathway model for the real scalar variable case is re-explored and its
connections to fractional integrals, solutions of fractional differential
equations, Tsallis statistics and superstatistics in statistical mechanics,
reaction-rate probability integral, Kraetzel transform, and pathway transform
are explored. It is shown that the common thread in these connections is the
H-function representations. The pathway parameter is shown to be connected to
the fractional order in fractional integrals and fractional differential
equations.Comment: 14 page
Linear Algebra
In order not to intimidate students by a too abstract approach, this textbook on linear algebra is written to be easy to digest by non-mathematicians. It is also designed such that no other material is required for an understanding of the topics covered. As the basis for courses on space and atmospheric science, remote sensing, and satellite communications, applications of the formal theory in physics and engineering are discussed as well
Does SuperKamiokande Observe Levy Flights of Solar Neutrinos?
The paper utilizes data from the SuperKamiokande solar neutrino detection
experiment and analyses them by diffusion entropy analysis and standard
deviation analysis. The result indicates that solar neutrinos are subject to
Levy flights (anomalous diffusion, superdiffusion). Subsequently, the paper
derives the probability density function, represented as Fox H-function, and
the governing fractional diffusion equation (fractional Fokker-Planck Equation)
for solar neutrino Levy flights.Comment: 13 pages. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with

Probability and Statistics
This textbook offers an introduction to concepts of probability theory, probability distributions relevant in the applied sciences, as well as basics of sampling distributions, estimation and hypothesis testing. As a companion for classes for engineers and scientists, the book also covers applied topics such as model building and experiment design

Mellin convolutions of products and ratios
Usually, convolution refers to Laplace convolution in the literature, but Mellin convolutions can yield very ueful results. This aspect is illustrated in the coming sections. This study deals with Mellin convolutions of products and ratios. Functions belonging to the pathway family of functions are considered. Several types of integral representations, their equivalent representations in terms of G and H-functions, and their equivalent computable series representations are examined in this study.Mathematics Subject Classification 2010: 26A33, 44A10, 33C60, 35J10
Multivariate Statistical Analysis in the Real and Complex Domains
This book explores topics in multivariate statistical analysis, relevant in the real and complex domains. It utilizes simplified and unified notations to render the complex subject matter both accessible and enjoyable, drawing from clear exposition and numerous illustrative examples. The book features an in-depth treatment of theory with a fair balance of applied coverage, and a classroom lecture style so that the learning process feels organic. It also contains original results, with the goal of driving research conversations forward. This will be particularly useful for researchers working in machine learning, biomedical signal processing, and other fields that increasingly rely on complex random variables to model complex-valued data. It can also be used in advanced courses on multivariate analysis. Numerous exercises are included throughout
