    The aim of the research was to analyze the impact education and skill of labor market discrimination on the income of medium-sized industry sectors in Palembang. The research was conducted in the city of Palembang with male and female labor force aged 15-64 who worked inmedium-sized industries.Proportional stratified random sampling was employed in selecting 380 labor forces as the sample.The method for collecting the data was survey which is an investigation of gathering factual information from the phenomena, characteristics, behaviors, or opinions of a group of people. This research investigated labor market discrimination in medium-sized industry sectors in Palembang.The research was conducted at sixteen sub-districts in the city of Palembang using questionnaire and observation. Medium-sized industries in Palembangwere purposively selected as the research site of this study. Research variablesincluded factors causing discrimination such as education, working skillsand working experience. The variables that were affected by discrimination include wage and employment. The results revealed that working experience and labor skills have a siginificant influence on labor discrimination in medium-sized industry sector. Meanwhile, education did not significantly influence labor discrimination.It can be concluded that medium-size industries did not require a formal higher education degree. It required competence and skills including technical skills to increase productivity in industry. The variables of education and skills altogether affected labor discrimination significantly as high as 65,1 percent.Discriminations occurred in wage and employment.This could strengthen the relationship among education and working skills. As a result, if labor wage increased, discrimination was likely to increase too. If employment increased, discrimination would also increase.Discrimination had a significant influence on income. This can be seen from the fact that the higher discrimination index, the lower income of the labor force would be

    The purpose of the study was to find out how was the analysis of resultsbetween  product and price of IGM University Students’ Decisions in purchasing Samsung smartphone. The population taken consisted of 1136 respondents.  One hundred of them were selected as the sample by using slovin formula. In this study, descriptive analysis by applying quantitative method was used, then questionnaire was distributed as a technique for collecting the data, and simple linear regression analysis was applied in order to measure the effect of independent variable to dependent variable which were Marketing Mix (X) was considered as an independent variable and students’ decisions (Y) as a dependent variable. In analyzing the data, Microsoft Office Excel program was used and it had been tabulated. Finally, the result of the study showed that the marketing mix abautanalycis of Product and Price  had a significant effect on the IGM University students’ decisions in purchasing the Samsung smartphone.Keywords: Product and Price in taking decision of purchasing, quantitative method

    This study is to analyze the influence of organizational culture and leadership style on the performance of civil servants  in Kalidoni sub-district, Palembang city with motivation as an intervening variable where the sample used is a saturated sample, namely all the population of civil servants in the Kalidoni sub-district working environment, amounting to 56 people as a sample. study. Meanwhile, in managing the data, the SPSS program is used with the path analysis method (path analysis). After analyzing the data, the results obtained are the results of the validity tests X1, X2, Y and Z obtained r table of 0.2656 < corrected item total correlations, from the results of reliability tests X1, X2, Y and Z Cronbach's Alpha values ​​in the range 0.801-0.920 > 0.60 so it can be said to be reliable. In the simultaneous test 29.467 is greater than f table 2.78 and the significance value (Sig.) 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 so it can be concluded that Organizational Culture and Leadership Style have a positive and significant effect on motivation simultaneously. The calculated f value of 16.375 is greater than f table 2.78 and the significance value (Sig.) 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that organizational culture, leadership style, and motivation have a positive and significant effect on performance simultaneously. Furthermore, the value of R2 in the first path analysis test is 0.527, indicating that the motivation variable is directly influenced by the organizational culture and leadership style variables, while the remaining (100%-52.7%) or 47.3% is influenced by other variables. With the R2 value in the second path analysis test of 0.491, it shows that the performance variable is directly influenced by organizational culture, leadership style, and motivation variables while the rest (100%-49.1%) or 50.9% is influenced by other variables

    This research aims to analyze Punishment & Reward, organizational climate and potential for the productivity of the scientific work of PDRI South Sumatra lecturers. The research method used is quantitative research with descriptive and verification confirmative survey methods, with a population of 234 PDRI members in the Whatsapp (WA) group and 132 taken after being verified in answering questionnaires and interviews, as well as data processing using the SPSS 23 tool. that punishment & rewards for lecturers can affect productivity with t count 6.215> t table 1.976, organizational climate affects productivity with t count 6.215> table 1.976, and compensation affects productivity with t count of 4.044> t table 1.976, and punishment & reward, Organizational climate, and competence together affect productivity with F count of 26.484> F table 3.0663, with the output solvent coefficient of R Square 70.9%.     A gamification framework for research productivity enhancement on the higher education institution

    The condition of research productivity in higher education institutions in Indonesia is still not ideal. Departing from this problem, this paper aims to contribute in the form of a framework used as the main alternative in optimizing research productivity, including the number of publications in higher education institutions. The mechanism proposed is a framework that uses designs derived from games or better known as gamification. Based on the preliminary testing of the proposed framework, it shows that each construct of the framework has a positive impact on research productivity enhancement as the final goal. One of the constructs is Network has a positive impact of 0.415 on Behavior, the Behavior has a positive impact of 0.403 on research productivity enhancement. This also applies to other constructs. Except for the Points that donot have good reliability, it will become homework in future studies

    The research objective was to find out the results of the analysis of how the influence of recruitment, selection and education & training patterns both partially and simutaneously towards career development. The survey method applied research model, uses 165 samples from a population of 295 South Sumatra High Prosecutors' staff, using proportional random sampling Technical data analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. In this study, the type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Testing the hypothesis through t test and F test using SPSS analysis tools The results of data processing using SPSS 23, using the t test that t count is 7.378> with t table 1.9764 and 0.00 <0.05 significance that there is a positive and significant pattern of recruitment on career development; that t count is 13,730> with t table 1.9764 and 0.00 <0.05 significance that there is a positive and significant selection effect on career development; that t count is 19.303> with t table 1.9764 and 0.00 <0.05 significance that there is a positive and significant effect of education & training on career development; and use the F test that F count is 142.310> with F table 2.6687 significance 0.00 <0.05 that there is a positive influence and a significant pattern of recruitment, selection and education & training together towards career development, with the magnitude of the coefficient of determination The remaining 74.6% is influenced by other variables. The conclusion of the study is that the pattern of recruitment, selection and education & training has a positive and significant effect on career development both partially and simultaneously.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan etika kerja, profesionalisme, dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja auditor intern pada Badan Inspektorat Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan variabel etika kerja, profesionalisme, dan gaya kepemimpinan sebagai variabel independen dan kinerja auditor sebagai variabel dependen. Metode purposive sampling digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tempat, populasi dan sampel penelitian. Hasilnya, lokasi dan waktu penelitian dilaksanakan di Badan Inspektorat Kota Kupang pada bulan September 2021-Februari 2022, dan sampel jenuh menjadi metode untuk menentukan responden penelitian dari populasi dan sampel yang ada, yaitu 74 responden. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dari sumber data primer dan dijelaskan secara deskriptif dari dukungan data sekunder. Etika kerja, profesionalisme, dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja auditor intern pada Badan Inspektorat Kota Kupang. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja auditor, auditor diharapkan dapat melaksanakan pemeriksaan dengan mentaati etika kerja dan memiliki sikap profesional sehingga kinerja auditor maksimal.     Employee Performance Analysis Based on the Effect of Discipline, Motivation, and Organizational Commitment at the Regional Secretariat of the Kupang City Government

    The purpose of this research is to analyze and prove the influence of discipline, motivation, and organizational commitment on employee performance. For three months the research was carried out, starting from January to March 2022 at the Regional Secretariat of the Kupang City Government. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research using primary data collected through filling out questionnaires (closed questions using a Likert scale) for 60 days of data collection. The population in this study was 1034 employees. The number of research samples was 288 respondents which were determined by proportional stratified random sampling and the Slovin technique. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25 application tools. The results showed that there was a strong and significant influence between discipline, motivation, and organizational commitment variables on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of the Kupang City Government

    This research aims to know the impact of macro fundamental factors such as interest rate (SBI), kurs and gross domestic product; and micro fundamental factors such as return on asset (ROA), debt to equity ratio (DER) and price earning ratio (PER) on firm value in pulp and paper industry that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research used multiple regression analysis and processed with Eviews version 8. Rasio keuangan dapat menjelaskan atau memberi gambaran tentang baik buruknya keadaan atau posisi keuangan suatu .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat literasi atau perputaran aset lancar seperti kas, piutang dan persediaan dimasa pandemi covid 2019 dan melihat pengerahunya terhadap kinerja keuangan atau profitabilitas peruahaan Penelitian ini melihat hubungan antara variabel-variabel perputaran aset lancar yang terdiri dari perputaran kas, perputaran piutang , dan perputaran persediaan terhadap profitabilitas dan mengujinya secara empiris. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, populasi terdiri dari perusahaan pertambangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2017-2019 sampel dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling .
