    The aim of this study is to find out the role of learning assemblies in coaching happy families in Medan and surrounding areas. The point is to contribute thoughts to the Medan City Government, administrators, Islamic communities and the community in realizing a happy, affection and grace families in Medan City. The results of this study is that an educational institution for people who grow and develop from the Islamic community of the city of Medan itself, whose interests are for the benefit of Muslims. So, Learning Assemblies is a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Medan City whose life is based on mutual help and love among them.     Dramatizing Local History: Its Effects on Stimulating the Students’ English Performance.

    Drama is one of the widest approaches used in the periodic development of English teaching in the world. Drama engages more of the important aspects of speaking as part of language function in linguistics. In his journal, Rasmussen (2010) stated that when we speak of quality in drama education, we apply different educational and aesthetic criteria. For example, improvised drama practices such as process drama are closely associated to Jean Piaget’s theory of cognitive constructivism. Jean Piaget's research into educational theory is called cognitive constructivism. Piaget postulated that students should be guided through creative exploration as the focus of their educational journey. Students should create or construct their knowledge, and the classroom should be a place where tools and resources are made available to catalyze the process. Piaget believed that teachers should insist on less memorization and more exploration and personal investigation as the foundation of educational progress. The research was conducted during the second academic year, the students in second semester with 20 students who enrolled in English speaking II courses at Muhammadiyah Institution in Bone. By reporting from a case of drama teaching and research, I examine how constructivist thinking affects the dramatization of local history to stimulate the students’ English performance. I focused on the constructivism theory, particularly the collaborative interaction and development aspects. Experiential forms of drama are valued as potential models for constructivist education that have implication for creating active learning, dramatic learning, engaging students in learning, speaking intension, collaborative learning, and building community as the goal of the research.     PENGARUH KESULITAN DAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA TERHADAP PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA ARAB DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH NEGERI 2 SINJAI

    Minat siswa masih tergolong rendah sehingga belum  mempraktikkan 4 keterampilan  bahasa, yang meliputi   istima’ (mendengar/listening),  qiro’ah (membaca/reading),  kitabah (menulis/writing) dan kalam (berbicara/speaking). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesulitan dan minat siswa terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar bahasa arab pada madrasah ibtidaiyah negeri 2 Sinjai. Metode survey dengan pendekatan qualitatif ang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data dengan melihat pengaruh kesulitan belajar dan minat siswa dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa arab. Hal ini dilandaskan pada  keyakinan, pendapat, karakteristik, perilaku, hubungan variabel, dan untuk menguji beberapa hipotesis tentang hubungan antara variabel sosiologis dan psikologis dari sampel yang diambildari populasi tertentu, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa test, observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner tertutup. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kesulitan belajar tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Arab pada siswa MIN 2 Sinjai. Hal ditunjukkan melalui hasil uiji hipotesis Untuk variabel Kesulitan (X1) ditemukan nilai b1 = 0,368 dengan t = 1,885  dan Sig. = 0,069. Oleh karena nilai sig. > 0,05 maka Ho (β1=0) diterima yang artinya variabel kesulitan tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar jika minat belajar dikendalikan/dikontrol

    Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Sosial Profetik Islam dalam Ideologi Pancasila

    The dichotomous and even confrontational paradigm of the relationship between Islamic teachings and Pancasila as a state ideology is still found in indonesian Muslims. This should not need to happen, because in fact the teachings of Islam and Pancasila have a universal intersection of values for the plurality of social life. This study aims to identify the value of Islamic prophetic social education in the construction of Pancasila. Quality research in the form of literature studies uses a normative-philosophical approach. Secondary data in the form of relevant journals, books, theses and dissertations. The three values in the idea of Islamic Prophetic Social Sciences formulated by Kuntowijoyo in the form of the values of humanization, liberation and transcendence became the analytical theory of the discussion of this research. These three values will be used to identify various prophetic social education values contained in the Pancasila precepts. The nature of this research approach is descriptive-analytic. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that there was a dimension to the values of prophetic social education contained in Pancasila. First, the educational value of transcendence in the precepts of the Almighty godhead. The existence of the contained divine value can be a basis for values, paradigms and approaches in transforming the value of transcendence in all forms of educational activities.  Second, the value of humanist education in the precepts of humanity and the precepts of unity. The existence of human values and unity can be a basin of values, paradigms and approaches to humanist educational activities that have an orientation of human empowerment of the urgency of science as well as positioning humans with all their potential. Third, the value of liberated education in the precepts of democracy and social justice. The existence of these values can be a basis for values, paradigms and approaches in liberation education that have an orientation to guide individuals so that they can be free from the intervention of any party or group that has a negative impact on social life.The theoretical implications of the findings of this study show that there is a meeting point for the content of universal values in Pancasila with the social teachings of Islamic religion. The limitations of this research can also be a lacuna (gap) for the next research, namely this research has not examined how the role of the government in disseminating the intersection of the social values of Islamic religion contained in the construction of Pancasila in the praxis life of Indonesian society

    Pengaruh Padat Penebaran yang Berbeda terhadap Pertumbuhan Panjang dan Bobot Serta Sintasan Juwana Kuda Laut (Hippocampus Barbouri)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mengetahui pengaruh padat penebaran terhadap pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot serta sintasan juwana kuda laut (Hippocampus barbouri). Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan informasi bagi pengembangan pembenihan dan berbagai penelitian selanjutnya. Selain itu dapat digunakan untuk budidaya, restocking, dan penangkaran di laut untuk tujuan komersil. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan sehingga terdapat 12 satuan percobaan, dimana ukuran juwana kuda laut yang digunakan memiliki kisaran panjang awal 1,36 cm, sedangkan rata-rata bobot juwana pada wal penelitian yaitu 0.020 gram. Juwana kuda laut dipelihara selama 30 hari. Pakan yang diberikan berupa Artemia salina dengan kepadatan 1 ekor/ml dan frekuensi pemberian pakan 3 kali sehari. Pengukuran pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot dilakukan setiap 7 hari dengan mengukur panjang tubuh juwana kuda laut yang diukur dari mahkota hingga ujung ekor secara tegak lurus serta menimbang bobot tubuh juwana kuda laut dengan menggunakan timbangan elektrik dengan ketelitian 0,1 gram, sedangkan Pengamatan sintasan dilakukan pada akhir penelitian dengan menghitung jumlah juwana kuda laut yang hidup. Pengukuran kualitas air juga dilakukan setiap hari, kecuali pengukuran kadar amoniak (NH3) dilakukan setiap 7 hari pada saat pengukuran pertumbuhan juwana kuda laut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Padat penebaran yang berbeda tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot juwana kuda laut (Hippocampus barbouri), sedangkan Padat penebaran yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap sintasan juwana kuda laut (Hippocampus barbouri), dimana Sintasan yang tertinggi untuk pemeliharaan juwana kuda laut diperoleh pada padat penebaran 2 ekor/liter
