PENGARUH GAYA HIDUP HEDONIS TERHADAP PERILAKU PEMBELIAN IMPULSIF PADA MAHASISWA JURUSAN PPB 2013 FIP UNY

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1)tingkat gaya hidup hedonis yang terjadi; 2) tingkat perilaku pembelian impulsif yang terjadi; 3)pengaruh gaya hidup hedonis terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif pada mahasiswa Jurusan PPB Angkatan 2013 FIP UNY. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 mahasiswa Psikologi Pendidikan dan Bimbingan 2013 FIP UNY. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan Skala Gaya Hidup Hedonis dan Skala Pembelian Impulsif. Uji validitas intrumen menggunakan validitas isi dengan expert judgement, sedangkan uji skala reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbachdan diperoleh koefisien reliabilitasSkala Gaya Hidup Hedonis sebesar 0,920 dan koefisien reliabilitas Skala Pembelian Impulsif sebesar 0,896.Untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh gaya hidup hedonis terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif digunakan teknik analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwatingkat gaya hidup hedonis dan pembelian impulsif berada pada kategori sedang, kemudian adanya pengaruh positif gaya hidup hedonis terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif pada mahasiswa PPB 2013 UNY, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai konstanta sebesar 39,176 dan nilai koefisien regeresi perdiktor sebesar 0,596. Hasil nilai signifikansinya adalah 0,000 berarti p< 0,05 dengan persamaan regresi linearnya yaitu Ỳ=39.176+0,596X. Model regresi ini memiliki arti bahwa diperkirakan setiap peningkatan satu poin skor pada X atau gaya hidup hedonis memprediksikanpeningkatan 0,596 pada variabel perilaku pembelian impulsif. Corporate Governance Mechanism and Capital Structure Decision: Evidence from Indonesia

Purpose: Decisions related to the capital structure are crucial for companies because the proportion of funding from debt and equity determines the company's value and is directly related to shareholders' welfare. This study aims to examine how corporate governance affects the capital structure. Method: Board size, board independence, ownership concentration, audit reputation, management ownership, and institutional ownership are the independent variables considered in this study. In contrast,&nbsp;control variables&nbsp;were defined as firm size, liquidity, profitability, and growth. In order to determine how corporate governance affects capital structure in a sample of 395 non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, this study employs multiple linear regression analysis. Result: The capital structure is significantly impacted negatively by board size, ownership concentration, firm size, profitability, and growth while positively impacted by independent commissioners, auditor reputation, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership. Gender-Based Violence Againsts The Female Main Character in Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us

Abstract   This research is a study of Colleen Hoover’s novel It Ends With Us. The purpose of this study is to reveal forms and impacts of gender-based violence and efforts of the female main character to overcome all the hardship. The main issue in this novel is gender-based violence againts the female main character named Lily Bloom. In this research, descriptive analysis method is used in studying the intrinsic theories, and extrinsic theories such as gender and feminism for supporting elements. The findings of this research points that Lily experiences several forms of gender-based violences such as child abuse, physical attacks, domestic violence, pornography violence, and an act of rape. Besides that, the physical and psychological impacts are also identified. Eventually, Lily can overcome her hardship by improving her financial condition, living independently, divorcing her abusive partner, and becoming a single parent. PENGARUH KUALITAS LABA, GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP ASIMETRI INFORMASI

The research aims to determine the influence of earning quality, good corporate governance, and firm size on information asymmetry. Dependent variable information asymmetry is measured by the bid-ask spread. Independent variable earning quality is measured by using the accrual quality model of Kothari (2005). Good Corporate Governance represent by two aspects consists of the proportion of independent commissioners is measured by the ratio between number of independent board of commissioners and number of all member of board of commissioners on company and frequency of board directors meetings is measured by the total of board directors meetings in one year. Firm size is measured by natural logarithm of the company’s net income. This research uses secondary data with the 57 population of property, real estate, and constraction companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2016-2018. Sampel selected based on purposive sampling and acquired 39 companies. Thus, the total research observations amounted to 117 for three years. This research uses Multiple Linear Regression analysis for test the hyphothesis with the help of SPSS program version 26. The results of this research is the proportion of independent commissioners, frequency of boards meetings, and firm size has negative influence on information asymmetry. Meanwhile earning quality has no influence on information asymmetry. The Effectiveness of Tongue Twister to Improve fluency and Accuracy

Speaking as a productive skill, seems intuitively the most important of all the four language skills, because it can distinctly show the correctness and language errors that a language learner makes. Pronunciation is one important aspect of speaking English, it can be said that basic skills must be understood before deep learning about speaking. Since Indonesians are not native speakers, most of the students have difficulty understanding and digesting the correct pronunciation in English. The ability to speak using accurate pronunciation is very important. If we do mispronounce while speaking, it makes the listener difficult to understand what we are talking about. Furthermore, it can be one of the factors which can lead to the conversation breakdown. The use of Tongue Twister Technique can improve students fluency and accuracy in speaking English. Therefore Tongue Twister is needed to motivate the students to learn about pronunciation. The objective of the research is to describe and analyze the effectiveness of tongue twister whether itcan improve or not the fluency and accuracy inspeaking English. The method used in this study was Experimental method that focus on pre-experimental research design with one group Pretest and Posttest design. The instruments to conduct the research were observation checklist, observation fieldnote, test and rubric assessment. The finding shows that, Tongue Twister Technique is effective to improve fluency and accuracy in speaking English. As shown the gain of students’ accuracy mean score from pretest is 47.00 and posttest is 82.75. The table value of significance level of 2 tails above is 1.729 and the value is 15.726,also the score of fluency in speaking skills shows before being taught by using Tongue Twister because the mean score is 49.25, the mean increase becomes 81.75. It means that the posttest’s score is higher than pretest’s score.The table value of significance level of 2 tails above is 1.729 and the value is 6.842. So that, value is higher than table (15.726 > 1.729), and (6.842 > 1.729) means the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is not rejected and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, after the students treated by Tongue Twister Technique, it shows that students’ speaking skills have been improved. Finally, it can be concluded that Tongue Twister Technique is effective to improve students’ fluency and accuracy in speaking English

Pemberdayaan Umkm Melalui Penumbuhan Iklim Usaha Oleh Dinas Koperasi Dan Ukm Kabupaten Sleman

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui penumbuhan iklim usaha oleh Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Sleman serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Desain  penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data interaktif.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan pemberdayaan UMKM melalui penumbuhan iklim usaha yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Sleman sudah berjalan optimal.. Pada aspek sarana dan prasarana menyediakan gedung Pusat Layanan Usaha Terpadu (PLUT). Pada aspek informasi usaha menerapkan asas keterbukaan informasi publik dan sistem satu data UMKM. Pada aspek kemitraan membentuk forum kemitraan dan forum komunikasi (Forkom) UMKM. Pada aspek perizinan usaha mempermudah pengurusan Izin Usaha Mikro Kecil (IUMK) melalui One Single Submission (OSS). Pada aspek promosi dagang memberikan fasilitasi pameran dan bantuan biaya sertifikasi Hak Atas Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI). Pada aspek dukungan kelembagaan membentuk PLUT Sleman. Pada aspek kesempatan berusaha menyediakan tempat usaha dan brainstorming kewirausahaan. Faktor pendukung pemberdayaan UMKM meliputi kesiapan pelatihan UMKM, bantuan modal, dan kebijakan pemerintah. Grit dan Career Adaptability Perawat di Masa Pandemi

Abstract. Nurses have to serve patients intensively, and therefore, they face new challenges and require career adaptability. Career adaptability is the ability to self-regulate in the face of challenges in the work environment in order to solve problems flexibly, and experience career satisfaction and success. One of the factors that promote career adaptability is grit. Grit is an individual’s endurance to pursue an interest and efforts for long-term goals. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between grit and career adaptability among nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants were 48 nurses in Surabaya aged 21 to 39 years old. They completed the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) and 12-Item Grit Scale. Kendall's tau-b correlation test was used for data analysis. Results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between grit and career adaptability Further studies should involve more participants working at hospitals in different regions of Indonesia.Abstrak. Perawat harus melayani pasien secara intens sehingga mereka menghadapi tantangan baru dan memerlukan career adaptability. Career adaptability adalah kemampuan individu untuk mengatur diri dalam menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan kerja sehingga dapat menyelesaikan masalah secara fleksibel, mencapai kepuasan, dan kesuksesan karir. Salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan career adaptability adalah grit. Grit adalah daya tahan individu yang merupakan perpaduan antara minat (interest) dengan usaha (effort) untuk mencapai tujuan jangka panjang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara grit dengan career adaptabiity pada perawat pada masa pandemi. Partisipan penelitian adalah 48 orang perawat di Surabaya dengan usia 21-39 tahun. Mereka mengisi Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) dan 12-Item Grit Scale. Uji korelasi Kendall’s tau b digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara grit dengan career adaptability. Allopurinol Induction on Histopathological Structure of the Liver in Male Mice (Mus musculus)

Allopurinol is used to reduce total uric acid levels in the body into oxypurinol which can inhibit xanthine oxidase. Allopurinol inhibits the precursors of uric acid formation, xanthine, and hypoxanthine. However, consumption of the drugs can cause side effects on the liver. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of allopurinol induction on the liver histopathology of male mice (Mus musculus) DDY strain. The method used in this research was an experimental design used post-test only that was divided into 4 groups of 4 mice per group. The control group (P0) was given 0.5% Na-CMC, and groups I, II, and III (P1, P2, and P3) were induced by allopurinol at 10 mg/kg BW, 20 mg/kg BW, and 30 mg/kg BW for 14 days. Allopurinol induction was performed by oral gavage. The results of the research showed that treatment with allopurinol caused changes in the mice’s body weight, liver index, liver morphology, and histological structure of the liver tissue, including necrosis, steatosis, leukocyte infiltration, binuclear hepatocytes, hepatocyte swelling, congestion, sinusoid dilatation, and hemorrhage. The level of liver damage increased in line with the dose used. This research indicated that the higher the allopurinol level, the higher the level of alteration in the liver section structure. Long-term use of allopurinol can cause damage to the structure of mice liver (liver toxicity).
