Evaluasi Kapabilitas Dan Efektivitas Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) Sebagai Sarana Temu Kembali Di Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Di Indonesia

Perpustakaan berkewajiban menyediakan akses ke sumber informasi yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan lewat sarana temu kembali informasi menjadisalah satu tugas penting perpustakaan.OPAC adalah salah satu sarana temu kembali informasi yangberfungsi memberitahu kepada pengguna apa yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan, apalagi saat ini katalog dikembangkan dalam bentuk online yaitu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kelengkapan fasilitas dan kapabilitas searching dan browsing pada OPAC perpustakaan UIN. Selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi precision (ketepatan) OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi dan mengujinapakah fasilitas searching berpengaruh terhadap tingkat precision.Dengan menggunakan data kualitatis yaitu yang berkaitan dengan kelengkapan fasilitas searching dan browsing, maka peneliti mencoba untuk melihat efektivitas OPAC Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) sebagai system temu kembali dengan mengambil lima OPAC UIN sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa fasilitas searching dan browsing yang tidak dimilikioleh OPAC UIN seperti menu bantuan penelusuran,keterbtasan deskripsi bibliografi. Dan OPAC yang memiliki fasilitas yang paling lengkap memiliki ketepatan yang tinggi sedangkan yang memiliki fasilitas paling minim memiliki nilai ketepatan yang rendah

TEACHING READING USING TALKING STICK

Language is the most important aspect in human interaction. People communicate and interact with other using the language. In global community, English has become an international language that is used by many people around the world. Reading is one of English language skills and it is one of the ways to learn English. Reading activity should get more attention. It is because there are many students who get some difficulties in understanding a text. In this research inform the using of talking stick in teaching reading. The objective of this research was to find out whether there was any significant difference in improvement the reading ability of recount text of the tenth grade students of SMK Rosma Karawang in academic year 2018/2019 by using talking stick method. The method used was quantitative method. In this research the writer used pre-experimental design of one group pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed by using paired sample test and processed by using SPSS 23 for windows. The results of the research showed there was significant increase of student’s reading ability.Keywords: Teaching, Reading, Talking Stic

Effort to Get Reading Interest Through Parenting

The influence of the family in developing an interest in reading is very large and very important. Families have the task of building a good reading culture, a culture that can condition families to be involved in good reading activities. Because reading can change each individual's perspective and direct their views outward. Through parental involvement, which is the main priority in developing interest in reading. Parental involvement is basically needed at all times for children at an early age, where at this age children begin to develop knowledge, attitudes, emotional morals and scharacter formation. Therefore, this research takes the title "Parenting as an Effort to Develop Interest in Reading". The aim of this research is to determine the influence of parents on children's interest in reading. This research method is qualitative using a descriptive approach. Namely collecting several literature in the form of articles and books that are related to this research. Many studies discuss increasing interest in reading, but none has touched on increasing interest in reading through parenting. Thus, this research will discuss efforts to increase children's interest in reading through parenting. The results obtained from this research are that parents have a very important influence on children's interest in reading because the family environment is a place to raise, educate and care for children. The family is the most important and first social group. Children will have their first interactions at the beginning of their life with the people closest to them. With several efforts made, including often reading books to children before bed, providing a reading corner at home, going to book bazaars for recreation, giving gifts of books to children, become the parents of your dreams

Pelatihan Penggunaan Aplikasi Mendeley bagi Mahasiswa dalam Membuat Sitasi Karya Ilmiah di Amikom Resource Centre Yogyakarta

This Mendeley training aims to facilitate students in making scientific work citations on assignments, theses, theses and so on. The method used to make this training there are three stages, namely the pre-training, on-going training and post-training stages. The result of this paper is that using Mendeley as an application to create written citations makes it very easy for all people, both students and other writers. Mendeley itself is a free software that was created to manage various research and can be used as a data store. In this training, 25 students from Amikom University took part in the Mendeley training. There were two materials that were presented and practiced, namely Mendeley Desktop and Mendeley Reference. Both Mendeley have a number of features in common, but currently most students use Mendeley Reference

Pengaruh Daya Tarik Webtoon “The Secret of Angel” Terhadap Minat Baca Di Komunitas Penggemar Webtoon

Abstract: This study aims to: (1) describe the perception of the webtoon fans community on the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon; (2) describe reading interest in the webtoon fans community; (3) describe the effect of the secret of angel's webtoon attractiveness on reading interest in the webtoon fans community. This research includes quantitative research with descriptive research methods. The research subject is the webtoon fans community and the object is the attraction of the secret of angel webtoon. The variables in the study were the variable webtoon attractiveness and reading interest. The population in this study is the webtoon fan community on Telegram called Fans Webtoon Indonesia. The results stated that the perception of the webtoon fan community towards the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon is in the very good category and the reading interest of webtoon fans community is in the good category. For the results of the simple linear regression test, it can be seen that the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon affects the reading interest of the webtoon fan community by 38,2%

KAMPUS 1 HIDAYATULLAH ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL SEMARANG

Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Hidayatullah (LPI Hidayatullah) merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan islam yang berada di Kota Semarang. Dibawah naungan Yayasan Abul Yatama, LPI Hidayatullah berdiri sejak 15 Mei 1988. Hingga saat ini Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Hidayatullah (LPIH) yang meliputi QBS, KBTK, SD, SMP, SMA serta MADIN dan juga TPQ. Dalam keberjalanannya LPI Hidayatullah selalu berusaha mengoptimalkan visi dan misi dan salah satu upaya dengan rencana adanya pengembangan sekolah islam berbasis asrama/boarding school khusus putra jenjang sekolah menengah atas dengan konsep santri mandiri melalui pendidikan life skills. Sementara itu menurut penelitaian Yuniar et al (2016), Setiap tahunnya 5-10% dari santri di pondok pesantren/boarding school mengalami masalah dalam proses penyesuaian diri, permasalahan yang sering terjadi jenuh dan stress dengan sistem pendidikan dipesantren yang monoton dan hampir 24 jam ditambah dengan peraturan yang ketat di pondok pesantren.Oleh karena itu, sebagai upaya pengoptimalan visi dan misi LPI Hidayatullah dibutuhkan perencanaan dan perancangan bangunan sekolah islam berasrama berbasis pendidikan life skills. Konsep perencanaan dan perancangan mempertimbangkan aspek arsitektural yang dapat memenuhi unsur keamanan, dan kenyamanan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Arsitektur Biofilik. Sehingga pembangunan Islamic Boarding School dapat memfasilitasi siswa dan tenaga pendidik secara aman dan nyaman, agar pengguna dapat melakukan semua aktifitas secara maksimal dan tingkat stress dan kebosanan berkurang

PENGARUH CASH HOLDING, PROFITABILITAS, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN , LIKUIDITAS, DAN PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN TERHADAP STRUKTUR MODAL

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan food and beverage periode 2014-2017. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui pengaruh Cash holding (CH), profitabilitas (ROA), ukuran perusahaan (size), likuiditas (CR), pertumbuhan penjualan (PP) terhadap Struktur Modal pada perusahaan food and beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan metode purposive sampling, yaitu pemilihan sampel yang telah ditentukan sendiri dengan kriteria tertentu . Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling didapatkansebanyak 48 sampel dari 12 perusahaanfood and beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2017. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Cash holding berpengaruh positif terhadap struktur modal, karena kas yang tinggi maka pembiayaan tinggi,2) profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal, karena tingkat profit yang tinggi atau rendah tidak mempengaruhi struktur modal, 3) ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal,karena perusahaan tidak mampu mengelola hutang dengan optimal, 4) likuiditas berpengaruh negatif terhadap struktur modal, karena perusahaan mempunyai likuid yang tinggi, 5) pertumbuhan penjualan berpengaruh negatif terhadapstruktur modal, karena semakin tinggi pertumbuhan penjualan maka penggunaan hutang semakin kecil.
