Analisis USAha Budidaya Tambak Bandeng pada Teknologi Tradisional dan Semi_intensif di Kabupaten Karawang
The low productivity of milkfish produced by traditional technology encourage the development of new farming technologies to increase productivity. Semi-intensive technology has evolved since the 2000s. However, this technology increases the cost of production because of the additional input of artificial feed. One of the regencies which produce milkfish using both traditional and semi-intensive technology is Karawang Regency. The objective of this research were to analyze profit and cost efficiency in traditional and semi-intensive techonology. The method of data collection conducted purposive as many as 30 milkfish farmers with traditional technology and 33 milkfish farmers with semi-intensive technology. The results show that semi-intensive technology provides a higher level of productivity and higher profitability. However, traditional technology was more efficient than semi-intensive technology. This condition causes the milkfish cultivation with traditional technology are still exist because it provides a higher return to capital

In the last 15 years, Indonesia palm-cooking oil price tend to increase significantly. The increase of palm-cooking oil price was driven by either its demand or supply. This study aimed to determine factors affecting of demand, supply, and Indonesia palm-cooking oil price. This research used time series data from 1990 to 2014. Simultaneous equation model was performed to analyse demand and supply of palm-cooking oil. The result indicated that income and population significantly influenced demand for palm-cooking oil. These implied that palm-cooking oil is categorized as normal good and staple food in Indonesia. While the price of palm-cooking oil, palm oil production, and real price of CPO Domestic significantly influenced supply of palm-cooking oil. Indonesia palm-cooking oil price was not significantly affected by its demand and supply
Pengaruh Kredit terhadap Pendapatan Petani Kopi Arabika di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah Provinsi Aceh
Agric finance is one of the important components in the development of coffee plant which is one of the main export commodities of Indonesia. This research aims to 1) identify the factors affecting credit access to formal sources of finance by the farmers, and 2) analyze the effects of credit on the farmer income. The study was conducted in the Arabica coffee production center at Aceh Tengah district. Data were collected from 73 farmers by the stratified random sampling. The data analysis was conducted using the probit model, and the results showed that the factors affecting farmers\u27 access to credit include age, dummy of creditor‘s visit and farmers\u27 knowledge. Using simultaneous equation model (2SLS), the estimation results showed that credit has positively increased production and food consumption of organic Arabica coffee of the farmers. Correspondingly, the simulation results showed that the increase in production and consumption of food will increase the productivity of the labor in the family, and this is the dominant input in organic Arabica coffee farming that will increase the farmers\u27 income
Analisis Efisiensi Ekonomi USAhatani Padi Organik dan Konvensional di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya
The purpose of this study was to analyze the economic efficiency of organic rice farming compared conventional rice farming. This study conducted using a cross section data from 100 farmers in Tasikmalaya Regency. The farmers are selected using proportionate stratified random sampling technique which is divided into equal size of two levels. Study was performed using stochastic frontier production function and estimated by Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method. The result showed that the mean economic efficiency of the organic farmers (0,53) is higher compared conventional farmers (0.43). Cost saving of seed and high production in organic farming as a source of gain in economic efficiency. Knowledge on the factors influencing farm efficiency is crucial for policy makers to improving efficiency levels
Perilaku Kewirausahaan Petani Kopi Arabika Gayo di Kabupaten Bener Meriah Provinsi Aceh
Kopi Arabika Gayo merupakan salah satu komoditi perdagangan subsektor perkebunan yang mempunyai peluang dalam rangka memperbesar pendapatan Negara dan meningkatkan penghasilan petani. Pengelolaan perkebunan kopi rakyat ini diusahakan masih secara tradisional. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi pola USAhatani perkebunan secara tradisional yang selama ini dilakukan.Faktor kewirausahaan menentukan berhasil tidaknya petani dalam menyesuaikan Perubahan lingkungan. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi karakteristik petani kopi Arabika Gayo, dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor karakteristik individu petani (internal factor) dan lingkungan bisnis (external factor) terhadap perilaku kewirausahaan petani kopi Arabika Gayo serta menganalisis pengaruh perilaku kewirausahaan terhadap perspektif kinerja USAhatani kopi Arabika Gayo. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2015 hingga bulan Juni 2015 di Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari hasil wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 120 responden petani kopi Arabika Gayo yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode SEM dengan bantuan software LISREL 8.30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik individu (internal factor) petani kopi Arabika Gayo secara umum yaitu rata-rata berada pada tingkat usia produktif, tingkat pendidikan formal mayoritas lulusan SMA, memiliki pengalaman yang cukup, USAhatani kopi sebagai sumber mata pencaharian utama, memiliki modal yang terbatas dan luas lahan yang dimiliki rata-rata 0,5–1 hektar. Karakteristik individu (internal factor) petani kopi Arabika Gayo berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kewirausahaan dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,20 dan nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,77 dan pengaruh lingkungan bisnis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kewirausahaan dengan nilai koefisien 0,75 dan nilai t-hitung 9,93, serta perilaku kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perspektif kinerja USAhatani kopi Arabika Gayo dengan koefisien pengaruh 0,98 dan t-hitung 16,91, maka dengan adanya peningkatan perilaku kewirausahaan akan meningkatkan perspektif kinerja USAhatani kopi Arabika Gayo
Studi Empiris Perilaku USAha Koperasi Pertanian: Kasus Koperasi di Dataran Tinggi Gayo, Provinsi Aceh
Koperasi pertanian memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung petani kecil. Peran kunci koperasi tersebut, yaitu untuk meningkatkan akses pasar, meningkatkan posisi tawar petani, dan meningkatkan kemampuan mengadopsi teknologi. Masalah yang dihadapi petani kopi adalah posisi tawar petani lemah dalam penentuan harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perilaku USAha koperasi dengan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi harga pembelian, jumlah pembelian, jumlah penjualan, jumlah anggota dan sisa hasil USAha pada koperasi. Model perilaku ekonomi koperasi dibangun sebagai suatu sistem persamaan simultan yang terdiri dari harga pembelian, jumlah pembelian, harga penjualan, jumlah anggota koperasi dan Sisa hasil USAha. Model ini diestimasi dengan metode 2SLS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar variabel dalam model menunjukkan bahwa koperasi telah menjalankan kegiatan USAhanya sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip koperasi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari perilaku koperasi dalam melakukan pembelian terhadap kopi anggota
Perilaku Kewirausahaan pada Usaha Mikro Kecil (UMK) Tempe di Bogor Jawa Barat
Micro and small enterprises (MSE) is a dominant business form in Indonesia with the percentage up to 90%. However, there is a tendency that the entrepreneur is identified to large scale of business. The purpose of this study were (1) identify the characteristics of entrepreneurs in MSE industry (2) analyze the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and the business climate for entrepreneurial behavior (3) analyze the effect of entrepreneurial behavior on its performance. Purposive sampling technique was applied to select 121 respondent. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to estimate entrepreneurial behavior. The results of this study showed that entrepreneurial characteristics was found on the MSE, furthermore stronger entrepreneurial characteristics was found on the large scale production. There is a positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and the business climate for entrepreneurial behavior. Entrepreneurial characteristics was influencing the most on the behavior of entrepreneurs. In addition entrepreneurial behavior was also positive and significant influence on its business performance. Thus, this study confirmed that entrepreneurial behavior was also found in small businesses, not only in large enterprises
