Pengembangan biodigester anaerob portabel penghasil biogas dari limbah kotoran ayam
Limbah kotoran merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh peternak ayam. Limbah kotoran ayam dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan dan gangguan kesehatan masyarakat sekitar lokasi peternakan. Pengolahan limbah kotoran ayam melalui proses fermentasi anaerob menjadi alternatif solusi terhadap masalah limbah kotoran ayam. Keuntungan yang diperoleh dari proses fermentasi anaerob limbah kotoran ayam adalah diperolehnya biogas dalam kapasitas cukup banyak. Pengembangan biodigester anaerob dalam bioreaktor untuk pengolahan limbah menjadi faktor penting dalam proses konversi limbah kotoran ayam menjadi biogas. Pada penelitian ini telah berhasil dilakukan pengembangan biodigester anaerob portabel berkapasitas 1.200 L. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa bioreaktor dapat menghasilkan biogas sebanyak 61,5 m3 untuk sekali periode proses fermentasi dari 603 kg kotoran ayam. Biogas yang dihasilkan dapat menjadi salah satu sumber energi alternatif bagi masyarakat
OPTIMALISASI PRODUKTIVITAS KAMBING PERANAKAN ETAWAH DENGAN PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH PERTANIAN TERFERMENTASI DAN SUPLEMENTASI LIMBAH INDUSTRI
The purpose of this research was to increase productivity Peranakan etawah (PE) goat with fermented hay corn and gamalleaves supplementation and tofu solid waste.Methods used Complete Random Design (RAL) through the test of fermented hay corn (JF) , gamal (G) , and tofu solid waste (AT). Feed Treatment consist of: (P0 = 60% JF + 40% G + 0% AT; P1 = 50% JF + 40% G + 10% AT; P2 = 40% JF + 40% G + 20% AT; P3 = 30% JF + 40% G + 30% AT).Each treatment repeated as much as 3 times.Parameters examined was feed consumption and weight gain and feed conversion of PE goat.When treatment give significant effect then followed by the Least Significant Different (LSD)
Based on results of research showed that the utilization of agricultural and industrial wastegive significant different (P<0.01 ) against consumption, weight gain, feed conversion of PE goat.P2 treatment with composition 40 % fermented hay corn + 40 % gamal + 20 % tofu solid waste provide optimal results compared another feed treatment with feed consumption of 978,95 gram, body weight gain 102,15 gram and lowest feed conversion was 9,59.
The Conclusions of this research wasfermented hay corn and gamalleaves supplementation and tofu solid waste can increase productivity of PE goat in terms of feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion.Suggested agricultural and industrial wasteutilization with 40% fermented hay corn + 40% gamal + 20% tofu solid waste to increase productivity and goats

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi ekstrak buah nanas dan pepaya pada konsentrasi yang berbeda terhadap kualitas daging itik petelur afkir. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan konsentrasi kombinasi ekstrak nanas (N) dan papaya (P) sebagai perlakuan. Adapun perlakuan penelitiannya yaitu P0 (0%N, 0%P); (P1 25%N, 75%P); P2 (50%N, 50%P), and P3 (75%N, 25%P). Setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of pineapple and papaya fruit extracts at different concentrations on the quality of the meat of post-production laying ducks. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a combination of pineapple extract (N) and papaya (P) as a treatment. The research treatment is P0 (0% N, 0% P); (P1 25% N, 75% P); P2 (50% N, 50% P), and P3 (75% N, 25% P). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The variables in the study were protein content and fat content of broiler duck meat. The results showed a significant difference for the concentration of the combination of pineapple and papaya fruit extracts on protein content (P <0.01) with an average P0 (21.98%), P1 (17.40%), P2 (17.37%), P3 ( 17.62%) and fat content (P <0.01) with an average P0 (2.15%), P1 (3.75%), P2 (3.41%), P3 (3.54%). Based on the results it can be concluded that the best experiment is at 75% N 25% P.
 
PEMANFAATAN KOMBINASI EKSTRAK BUAH NANAS DAN PEPAYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS DAGING ITIK PETELUR AFKIR
One alternative to meet the needs of the market and the increasing availability of public interest will be the consumption of meat, it can be done by utilizing the potential of laying duck meat rejected. This study aims to determine the quality of the meat rejected by the use of a combination of pineapple and papaya extracts. The method used is an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD). Soaking duck meat with the addition of a combination of salvage pineapple and papaya fruit extract that consists of 4 levels: 0% Pineapple: 0% Papaya, Pineapple 25%: 75% Papaya, Pineapple 50%: 50% and 75% Pineapple Papaya: Papaya 25%. Data were analyzed using Variant Analysis and continued with Duncan's multiple range test if there is a difference. EVALUASI SINERESIS DAN SENSORI YOGURT DENGAN PENAMBAHAN STABILIZER PATI TALAS LOKAL (Colocasia esculenta) PADA MASA INKUBASI 18 JAM SUHU RUANG
Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan stabilizer pati talas lokal (Colocasia esculenta) terhadap sineresis dan sensori yogurt pada masa inkubasi 18 jam suhu ruang.Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah susu sapi segar, pati talas, susu skim, dan starter (Lactobacillus bulgaricus,Streptococcus thermophillus dan Lactobacillus acidhopilus). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah percobaan Laboratorium dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan penelitian yakni penambahan pati talas, yaitu: P0 (0%), P1 (0,50%), P2 (1%), P3 (1,50%), P4 (2%) masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis ragam, apabila terdapat perbedaan maka dilanjutkan dengan uji duncan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi: Sineresis dan Sensori yogurt. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan level pati talas lokal (Colocasia esculenta) yang berbeda sebagai stabilizer memberikan pengaruh perbedaan yang sangat nyata (P0,05) terhadap warna, rasa dan aroma yogurt. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan pati talas 1,50% pada masa inkubasi 18 jam suhu ruang dapat menghasilkan yogurt yang optimal ditinjau dari sineresis dan sensori yogurt
FRESH SEMEN MOTILITY OF ETAWA CROSSBREED (PE) WITH DIFFERENT TIME STORAGE AND TEMPERATURE USING VARIOUS DILUENT
The purpose of this research is to knowing fresh semen motility of etawa crossbreed (PE) with time storage and temperature using various diluent. The methods is a reseach laboratory using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial. The diluent treatments are Egg Yolk Tris Aminomethane, Cauda Epididymal Plasma, Ringer, and coconut water. INFLUENCE COMBINATION OF SOAKING DURATION PINEAPPLE AND PAPAYA EXTRACT DIFFERENT ON PROTEIN AND FAT MEAT OF LAYING POST PRODUCTION DUCKS
ABSTRAK
The research knows the income and the welfare level of dairy cattle breeder. The research was done from August〖22〗^th – November 〖22〗^th,2016. Survey was conducted at KUD Karangploso. With questionnaire given to 40 respondent.Respondent where dairyfarmer of KUD Karangploso members. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analyzed the result showed that. The average income dairy farmers based on a fixed cost Rp 970.000 and variable cost Rp 1.673.000.analysis the income profits analysis Rp 882.000. cows lactation and value r/c is 1,33.The welfare level of dairy cattle breeder measures based on an indicator line of poverty central bureau of statistics is 90% a member of KUD.The economic benefits of cooperatives welfare obtained consisting of economic benefits cooperatives indirectly Rp 372.000 and economic benefits cooperatives directlyRp 215.000 so the overall economic benefits cooperatives Rp 587.000. Conclusions from research advantage of the income to maintain 1 cows lactation Rp.882.000. The ratio of value over cost is 1,33.Total economic benefits cooperatives is Rp.587.000 .

Pengaruh penambahan level ekstrak bawang merah (allium cepa liliaceae) terhadap kualitas semen cair kambing peranakan etawa (pe) dengan menggunakan pengencer ringer’s dextrose
Abstrak
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan level ekstrak bawang merah terhadap kualitas semen cair kambing peranakan ettawa (PE) dengan menggunakan pengencer ringer’s dextrose. Materi yang digunakan adalah semen segar kamping peranakan ettawa (PE), Ringer's Dextrose, dan ekstrak bawang merah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan menggunakan analisis statistik RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap). Pada penentuan tingkat ekstrak bawang dalam Dextrosperlich Ringer penguat adalah suhu ruang penyimpanan, hasil terbaik yang diketahui pada motilitas individu (P <0,01) adalah tambahan 2% sebanyak 71,87 ± 2,5. Dalam menentukan tingkat Ekstraksi ekstrak bawang Ringer Dextrose room temperature, hasil terbaik yang diketahui dalam survival (P <0,01) adalah penambahan 2% sebanyak 90,63 ± 0,97. Pengaruh kadar ekstrak bawang dalam pengencerRinger's Dextrose juga memberikan kelainan (P <0,05) di samping 2% sebanyak 0,61 ± 0,18. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penambahan ekstrak bawang bombay pada diluent Ringer's Dextrose memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap motilitas, viabilitas. Perlu penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai lama penyimpanan untuk mengetahui bagaimana ekstrak bawang bisa dapat mempertahankan kehidupan spermatozoa.
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to know and study the influence of level of different onion extract in diluent Ringer’s Dextrose to the quality of goat Ettawa cross breed’s semen room temperature storage. The material which was used is fresh semen Ettawa cross breed’s, Ringer’s Dextrose, Onion extract. The research method which is used is experimental by using statistical analysis of RAL (Complete Random Design). On the determination of the level of onion extract in a diluent Ringer’s Dextrose which is store room temperature, best results were known on motility of individuals (P<0,01) is in addition of 2% as much as 71.87±2.5.In determining the level of onion extract dilution Ringer Dextrose room temperature, the best results are known in survival ( P < 0.01 ) was the addition of 2 % as much as 90.63 ± 0.97. The influence of level of onion extract in diluentsRinger’s Dextrose is also giving abnormality (P<0,05) in addition of 2% as much as 0.61±0.18.The conclusion of this research is the addition of onion extract in diluent Ringer’s Dextrose give the real influence to motility, viability. It needs further research concerning the length of storage in order to find out how onion extract could sustain the life of spermatozoa.
 
Pengaruh penggunaan ramuan herbal sebagai feed additive terhadap in come over feed cost ayam broiler
ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan ramuan herbal terhadap income over feed cost ayam broiler. Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah: ayam broiler DOC. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan ramuan herbal dalam air minum dengan level penggunaan sebagai berikut : P0: tanpa penambahan ramuan herbal, P1:air + 10 % ramuan herbal, P2: air + 15 % ramuan herbal, P3: air + 20% ramuan herbal. Variabel yang di amati dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumsi pakan, biaya pakan, dan income over feed cost ayam broiler. Data yang diperoleh (income over feed cost) di analisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam dengan rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa biaya pakan tertinggi terdapat pada kelompok perlakuan P3 diikuti berturut-turut oleh P1, P2, P0 dan yang terendah adalah P0. Sedangkan pada P0 biaya pakan paling rendah karena tidak ada penggunaan ramuan herbal. Berdasarkan data penerimaan, penerimaan tertinggi terdapat pada kelompok kontrol P1 Rp 31.430,6 sedangkan penerimaan terandah terdapat pada kelompok P0 sebesar Rp 24.814,8.100 Rendahnya penerimaan dalam penelitian ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya bobot badan ayam broiler selama penelitian. Income Over Feed Cost selama penelitian yang tertinggi terdapat pada kelompok P3 (3.568), dan terendah terdapat pada perlakuan P1 (979) P0 (1.964), P2 (1.937) karena biaya pakan lebih tinggi dari pada penerimaan.Ini berarti bahwa penggunaan ramuan herbal dalam air minum berpengaruh sangat nyata (P< 0,01) terhadap Income Over Feed Cost. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ramuan herbal sebagai feed additive memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap IOFC ayam broiler.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using herbal ingredients on income over feed costs of broiler chickens. The material used in this study was: broiler DOC. This study was designed using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and each treatment consisted of 4 replications. The treatment used in this study is the use of herbal ingredients in drinking water with the use level as follows: P0: without the addition of herbal ingredients, P1: water + 10% herbal ingredients, P2: water + 15% herbal ingredients, P3: water + 20% herbal concoctions. The variables observed in this study were feed consumption, feed costs, and income over feed costs for broiler chickens. The data obtained (income over feed cost) is analyzed using a variety of analysis with a completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that the highest feed costs were found in the P3 treatment group followed by P1, P2, P0 and the lowest was P0. Whereas at P0 the cost of feed is lowest because there is no use of herbal ingredients. Based on acceptance data, the highest revenue was in the P1 control group of Rp. 31,430.6 while the lowest acceptance was in the P0 group of Rp. 24,814.8,100. The low acceptance in this study was caused by the low body weight of broiler chickens during the study. Income Over Feed Cost during the highest research was found in the P3 group (3,568), and the lowest was found in the treatment of P1 (979) P0 (1,964), P2 (1,937) because the cost of feed was higher than acceptance. drinking water has a very significant effect (P <0.01) on Income Over Feed Cost. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of herbal ingredients as additive feeds has a very significant effect on IOFC broiler chickens
