Research on the Vibration Damping Performance of a Novel Single-Side Coupling Hydro-Pneumatic Suspension
A mine dump truck is exposed to heavy load and harsh working environment. When the truck passes over the road bumps, it will cause the body to tilt and the tires to "jump off the ground" (JOTG), which will affect the stability and safety of the truck, and will cause impact damage to the body and suspension system. To avoid this situation, a kind of Novel Single-side Coupling Hydro-pneumatic Suspension (NSCHs) is presented. NSCHs consists of two cylinders in parallel, which are connected to the accumulator by rubber pipes and mounted on the same side of the dump truck. Theoretical analysis and experimental research were respectively carried out under the road and loading experimental condition. The experimental results show that compared to the conventional single cylinder hydro-pneumatic suspension, under the loading experiment condition, the maximum overshoot pressure of the NSCHs was reduced by 0.4 MPa and the impact oscillation time was shortened by 4.13 s, which plays the effective role in reducing vibration and absorbing energy. Further, it is found that the two cylinders are coupled during the working process, and the NSCHs system can achieve uniform loading and displacement compensation, thus the novel dump truck can avoid the occurrence of the JOTG phenomenon
Research on the vibration damping performance of hydro-pneumatic suspension of mine dump truck
The working environment of mine dump truck is relatively harsh, thus the suspension system with poor performance will directly affect driver's driving comfort and physical and mental health. An oil cylinder is one of the key components of the hydro-pneumatic suspension system, however, the high friction levels between cylinder and piston would lead to ‘friction locking’ phenomenon in the practical application. In order to improve the vibration damping performance of hydro-pneumatic suspension system and enhance the comfortability of whole vehicle, a 110 t mine dump truck was studied by theoretical and experimental method. The results of this study show that increasing the length of cylinder guide can effectively decrease the cylinder vibration transmission rate and improve the driving comfortability of vehicle
Robust H
To shorten the steer diameter and to improve the maneuverability flexibility of a construction vehicle, four wheels’ steering system is presented. This steering system consists of mechanical-electrical-hydraulic assemblies. Its diagram and principle are depicted in detail. Then the mathematical models are derived step by step, including the whole vehicle model and the hydraulic route model. Considering the nonlinear and time-varying uncertainty of the steering system, robust H2/H∞ controller is put forward to guarantee both the system performance and the robust stability. The H∞ norm of the sensitive function from the parameter perturbation of the hydraulic system to the yaw velocity of the vehicle is taken as the evaluating index of the robustness and the H2 norm of the transfer function from the external disturbance to the steering angle of the wheel as the index of linear quadratic Gaussian. The experimental results showed that the proposed scheme was superior to classical PID controller and can guarantee both the control performance and the robustness of the steering system
Research progress on extracellular vesicles in the renal tubular injury of diabetic kidney disease
Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is a severe microvascular complication of diabetes and is a chronic progressive condition. It is also a common cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD), which is characterized by proteinuria or a progressive decline in the glomerular filtration rate. Due to their dependence on high-energy and aerobic metabolism, renal tubules are more susceptible to the metabolic disturbances associated with DKD, leading to inflammation and fibrosis. Consequently, tubular injury has become a recent research focus, and significant advancements have been made in studying the role of extracellular vesicles in DKD-associated tubular injury. This review aimed to elucidate the mechanisms and potential applications of different types of extracellular vesicles in tubular injury in DKD to provide new insights for the prevention and treatment of DKD
Research progress on exosomes in podocyte injury associated with diabetic kidney disease
Diabetic kidney disease (DKD), a common cause of end-stage renal disease, is a serious complication that develops with the progression of chronic diabetes. Its main clinical manifestations are persistent proteinuria and/or a progressive decline in the estimated glomerular filtration rate. Podocytes, terminally differentiated glomerular visceral epithelial cells, constitute the glomerular filtration barrier together with the basement membrane and endothelial cells, and the structural and functional barrier integrity is closely related to proteinuria. In recent years, an increasing number of studies have confirmed that podocyte injury is the central target of the occurrence and development of DKD, and research on exosomes in podocyte injury associated with DKD has also made great progress. The aim of this review is to comprehensively describe the potential diagnostic value of exosomes in podocyte injury associated with DKD, analyze the mechanism by which exosomes realize the communication between podocytes and other types of cells and discuss the possibility of exosomes as targeted therapy drug carriers to provide new targets for and insights into delaying the progression of and treating DKD
Retrospective evaluation of whole exome and genome mutation calls in 746 cancer samples
Funder: NCI U24CA211006Abstract: The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) curated consensus somatic mutation calls using whole exome sequencing (WES) and whole genome sequencing (WGS), respectively. Here, as part of the ICGC/TCGA Pan-Cancer Analysis of Whole Genomes (PCAWG) Consortium, which aggregated whole genome sequencing data from 2,658 cancers across 38 tumour types, we compare WES and WGS side-by-side from 746 TCGA samples, finding that ~80% of mutations overlap in covered exonic regions. We estimate that low variant allele fraction (VAF < 15%) and clonal heterogeneity contribute up to 68% of private WGS mutations and 71% of private WES mutations. We observe that ~30% of private WGS mutations trace to mutations identified by a single variant caller in WES consensus efforts. WGS captures both ~50% more variation in exonic regions and un-observed mutations in loci with variable GC-content. Together, our analysis highlights technological divergences between two reproducible somatic variant detection efforts
Energy Recovery for the Main and Auxiliary Sources of Electric Vehicles
Based on the traditional regenerative braking electrical circuit, a novel energy recovery system for the main and auxiliary sources of electric vehicles (EVs) has been developed to improve their energy efficiency. The electrical circuit topology is presented in detail. During regenerative braking, the recovered mechanical energy is stored in both the main source and the auxiliary source at the same time. The mathematical model of the proposed system is derived step by step. Combining the merits and defects of H2 optimal control and H∞ robust control, a H2/H∞ controller is designed to guarantee both the system performance and robust stability. The perfect match between the simulated and experimental results validates the notion that the proposed novel energy recovery system is both feasible and effective, as more energy is recovered than that with the traditional energy recovery systems, in which recovered energy is stored only in the main source
