A level-one representation of the quantum affine superalgebra \U_q(\hat{\frak{sl}}(M+1|N+1))
A level-one representation of the quantum affine superalgebra
\U_q(\hat{\frak{sl}}(M+1|N+1)) and vertex operators associated with the
fundamental representations are constructed in terms of free bosonic fields.
Character formulas of level-one irreducible highest weight modules of
\U_q(\hat{\frak{sl}}(2|1)) are conjectured.Comment: AMS-TeX, 11 page
Stability of the vortex lattice in D-wave superconductors
Use is made of Onsager's hydrodynamic equation to derive the vibration
spectrum of the vortex lattice in d-wave superconductor. In particular the
rhombic lattice (i.e. the tilted square lattice) is found to be
stable for . Here denotes the critical field at which
the vortex lattice transition takes place.Comment: 7 pages, Revte
Quantum Scattering in Two Black Hole Moduli Space
We discuss the quantum scattering process in the moduli space consisting of
two maximally charged dilaton black holes. The black hole moduli space geometry
has different structures for arbitrary dimensions and various values of dilaton
coupling. We study the quantum effects of the different moduli space geometries
with scattering process. Then, it is found that there is a resonance state on
certain moduli spaces.Comment: 15 pages, 19 figures, RevTeX 3.
Sugawara and vertex operator constructions for deformed Virasoro algebras
From the defining exchange relations of the A_{q,p}(gl_{N}) elliptic quantum
algebra, we construct subalgebras which can be characterized as q-deformed W_N
algebras. The consistency conditions relating the parameters p,q,N and the
central charge c are shown to be related to the singularity structure of the
functional coefficients defining the exchange relations of specific vertex
operators representations of A_{q,p}({gl_{N}) available when N=2.Comment: 23 page
Elliptic algebra U_{q,p}(^sl_2): Drinfeld currents and vertex operators
We investigate the structure of the elliptic algebra U_{q,p}(^sl_2)
introduced earlier by one of the authors. Our construction is based on a new
set of generating series in the quantum affine algebra U_q(^sl_2), which are
elliptic analogs of the Drinfeld currents. They enable us to identify
U_{q,p}(^sl_2) with the tensor product of U_q(^sl_2) and a Heisenberg algebra
generated by P,Q with [Q,P]=1. In terms of these currents, we construct an L
operator satisfying the dynamical RLL relation in the presence of the central
element c. The vertex operators of Lukyanov and Pugai arise as `intertwiners'
of U_{q,p}(^sl_2) for level one representation, in the sense to be elaborated
on in the text. We also present vertex operators with higher level/spin in the
free field representation.Comment: 49 pages, (AMS-)LaTeX ; added an explanation of integration contours;
