    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kompensasi dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap intensi turnover perwira penerbang TNI AL di Pusat Penerbangan TNI AL (Puspenerbal), baik secara langsung maupun melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai faktor perantara. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian adalah The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Populasi penelitian ini adalah para perwira penerbang TNI AL yang berdinas di jajaran Puspenerbal yang berjumlah 137 orang dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 102 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian statistik menggunakan teknik analis SEM, diketahui bahwa (1) kompensasi dan pengembangan karir memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja; (2) Pengembangan karir dan kepuasan kerja memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap intensi turnover; (3) Kompensasi tidak memberikan pengaruh secara langsung terhadap intensi turnover; dan (4) Kompensasi dan pengembangan karir memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap intensi turnover secara tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja.     This research looks into the Malaysian laws especially on Employment Act 1955 which govern the protections and rights of workers in Malaysia in particular on the issue of protection of Indonesian maid in Malaysia. Therefore, this research analyses the laws provided in order to protect the Indonesian maids' right in Malaysia in order to expose its incomprehensiveness in protecting them since most of Malaysian did employ them as their domestic helper. This research aims to find the possibility of reforming the laws of Malaysia concerning the protection of Indonesian maid. By using the doctrinal and empirical research method, this research looks into the possibilities of loopholes in Malaysian laws and guidelines used by our government in order to protect Indonesian maids that work in Malaysia and compare the steps taken between our government and others government to solve the cases of maid abuses faced by them. In the absence of comprehensive laws in protecting the rights for Indonesian maids working in Malaysia, this research is to fill in the gap. This research is also looking at the possibilities of amending the existing law for the protection of local or foreign maid for that matter

    Patterns of Using Masks in Prevention of Covid-19 Transmission in Makassar, Indonesia

    The case of Covid-19 infection rate in Makassar, Indonesia is still high. Recently, the government is still implementing community activity restriction to reduce the rate of the pandemic. However, this is not enough, the policy needs to be accompanied by increasing the effectiveness of other intervention measures, including masks. This study aims to provide an overview of the behavioral pattern of using masks in the public area in Makassar. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data in taking appropriate steps in increasing efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in Makassar. The results of the study showed that public awareness in using masks is quite high, the motivation to use masks mostly comes from intrinsic motivation, and dominantly of the subject has been able to adapt to the behavior of wearing masks. However, some behaviors of wearing masks still need to be improved with health education, including frequently put on and take off behavior when using masks, the length of time using masks replacing with new or clean ones, management of masks that have been used so those masks are disposed of in a closed container as much as possible. To maintain the behavior of wearing masks in the public, it is necessary to conduct further research on the proper technique of wearing masks to reduce the feeling of shortness of breath and discomfort that mask users complain about and the prevention of condensation on glasses users when wearing masks.

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan desain kurikulum merdeka edisi revisi dari kurikulum 2013 di sekolah dasar, dan menghadapi keterampilan abad ke-21 pada peserta didik. Jenis penelitian library research, yakni melibatkan buku, artikel, jurnal yang berkaitan dengan desain pengembangan kurikulum Merdeka dan Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan data dari Kemendikbudristek menjadi bahan pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pengembangan kurikulum Merdeka Belajar edisi revisi kurikulum 2013 adanya pengembangan pada peranan peserta didik. Pada kurikulum Merdeka desain pengembangan kurikulum lebih memfokuskan pada peranan peserta didik (learner centered design), sehingga peserta didik mampu belajar dengan sesuai minat, bakat, dan kreativitas. Diharapkan dari pengembangan kurikulum Merdeka ini dapat mencapai tujuan dari pendidikan nasional. Prinsip kurikulum adalah rancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Guru sebagai peran penting dalam pendidikan, maka diharapkan dapat melaksanakan tugasnya sesuai dengan yang telah dirancang.     Millennial is known to be the generations that strongly empowered by technologies that apparently had altered the pattern of their consumption habits to shape a new form of tourist market. The great incursion of technology on Millennial does not only mediates the experience formation at destination, instead provide added value and emotional impact through its cognitive stimulation and experience co-creation possibilities. As the key instrument for experience enhancement, mobile technologies support users' needs of on-site information, virtually connect tourism providers and consumers, and unfold destination uniqueness. These in turn allow co-creation of tourist experience through satisfaction of Millennial's addiction of connectivity. Virtual connectivity seems to create new form of affective attachment, through which Millennial are emotionally bonded to the place due to the intensity of technological engagement. Consequently, instead of tourist-destination encounter per se, technological experience is potentially classified as the third aspects that dictate experience development, especially among Millennial travellers. Existing literatures indicates that Millennial strong engagement with virtual platform is capable to manipulate their on-site emotional experience, which apparently changing the conventional way of tourist experiencing the destination. Nevertheless, the significant of Millennial's technological engagement towards their destination emotional experience is still open for debates.     Male infertility: The effect of natural antioxidants and phytocompounds on seminal oxidative stress

    Defective sperm function has been identified as the most common cause of infertility. The objective of this study was to review recent findings on the effects of various antioxidants on male fertility. High amounts of poly unsaturated fatty acid are found in the mammalian spermatozoa membranes, thereby making them susceptible to lipid peroxidation. Although, free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS) play major roles in reproduction, they are strongly associated with oxidativestress. Furthermore,factorssuchasobesity,inflammation,pollutantsandcigarettesmoking are negatively correlated with spermatogenesis. Endogenous antioxidants system exists to mediate these damages. In a normal physiological state, the seminal plasma contains antioxidant enzyme mechanism that is capable of quenching these ROS as well as protecting the spermatozoa against any likely damage. However, high level of ROS triggered by inflammatory cells and oxidation of fatty acidinobesesubjectsmaydownplayantioxidantmechanismresultinginoxidativestress. Evaluation of such oxidative stress is the first step in the treatment of male infertility through administration of suitable antioxidant. Notably, antioxidant such as vitamin E and C, carotenoids and carnitine have been found beneficial in restoring a balance between ROS generation and scavenging activities. There are emerging evidences that herbal products can also boost male reproductive functions. Nonetheless, a good lifestyle, regular exercise, avoidance of stress and observing safety rules at work are habits that can reverse male infertility

    Metode Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak MDLC Pada Rancang Bangun Media Pembelajaran Planet Berbasis Teknologi Augmented Reality

    Along with the development of smartphones, Augmented Reality technology has begun to be used as a medium of interaction, although it has not been properly implemented and applied as a supporting medium. The use of still image objects in textbooks can make students tend to be more passive and less interactive because media images are unable to provide a reciprocal response. In science subjects, there is solar system material regarding planet recognition. Props are needed as learning media because the object of observation from the planet is too large. Several props are used as imitations of the planets, such as the use of drawing paper, audio, and video. The purpose of this research is to make a breakthrough in the use of Augmented Reality technology to support media for understanding planet recognition material by creating digital teaching aids that can be installed on smartphone devices. The MDLC method is an alternative method for developing multimedia applications that are easy to understand. The results of the test show that the application can function as expected, where each planetary marker that has been made can be recognized properly according to the intended planetary object.Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan pada materi pengenalan planet dalam tata surya saat ini masih menggunakan metode tekstual dimana dalam menyampaikan materi hanya menggunakan buku teks bergambar tanpa disertai praktek maupun pengamatan terhadap objek secara langsung. Cara seperti ini akan membuat siswa cenderung menjadi pasif serta kurang dapat berinteraksi aktif karena media gambar kurang terlihat nyata, kurang menarik, serta tidak mampu memberikan respon timbal balik. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan media bantu dalam proses belajar yang menarik dan interaktif, seperti halnya aplikasi media pembelajaran. Dengan memanfaatkan dan menerapkan teknologi augmented reality dalam pengaplikasian media pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami objek dan material pembentuk planet dalam bentuk 3D. Metode pengembangan aplikasi yang digunakan adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle ( MDLC). Hasil dari pengujian dan penerapan aplikasi menunjukan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami pengenalan planet, karena materi disajikan dalam bentuk 3D yang disertai suara sebagai penjelasan dari materi

    Attainment of Course Learning Outcome using Awakening to Languages Approach among Hotel Management Students in Malaysia

    The Awakening to Languages (ATL) approach has seen positive outcomes in foreign language classes. However, research on the approach in the Malaysian context is scarce, especially among university students. Hence, this study analyses the approach’s effectiveness after it has been implemented, through descriptive analysis, specifically regarding the attainment of one of the course learning outcomes (CLO), simulation, for a third language course in a Malaysian university. The result indicates that the marks achieved by all classes for their CLO 1 were highly satisfactory. This suggests a positive correlation between this approach and oral language skills

So we need to review the interaction between the buiding and the tower to determine the effect after the addition of the tower load including the effects of an eartquake, because given the muddy located in the earthquake zone to zone 3. This study started from existing data of buildings such as the dimensions of the beam, column and plate proceed  with modelig the structure before and after the existing tower to find out the results of the interactions that occur and the determine changes in the dimensions of comprehensive reinforcement occurs sothat from these data may generate recommendations that will be used to future.The result of this study showed that the effect of the earthquake was the  largest factor affecting the rift, and the final result of the output value of the aplicationthat is used is SAP 2000V14 shows the value of the force in each elementof the structure and k now the strong value of the load that can be carried by the structure of the building

    Rainfall-Runoff Response of A Suburban Area

    Batu Pahat experiences flash floods whenever intense rainfall coincides with high tide. Among the factors which cause flash floods are due to Batu Pahat river catchment's flat and low-lying geographical features as well as high-intensity rainfall. The goals of the study are to analyse the frequency of rainfall events for SMK Munshi Sulaiman station and to investigate runoff due to severe rainfall events within the study area. The observed daily rainfall depth record between 2010 and 2021 was obtained from the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Malaysia. The frequency of rainfall events within the 11-year period is examined using empirical rainfall intensity formulation. Rainfall-runoff of the five most heavy rainfall events in 2021 within the study area are simulated using HEC-HMS. It has been found that most daily rainfall events have a frequency of a 1-year return period. Only three events were found to have a return period of up to 2-year ARI, with a maximum rainfall depth of 110.67 mm. Five heaviest rainfall events in 2021 were obtained from DID's real-time online platform for rainfall-runoff simulations. One of the events, which occurred in June 2021 has a frequency larger than a 100-year return period while other events have return periods ranging from 1-year to 5-year. Simulations produced by HEC-HMS for these events in January, April, May, June, and September 2021 have resulted in peak flow of 6.7 m3/s, 26.8 m3/s, 24.7 m3/s, 39.9 m3/s, and 39.9 m3/s, respectively. Based on frequency analysis, rainfall-runoff simulations, and field observations, it can be concluded that flash floods are highly possible due to high-intensity rainfall as well as lowland topographical features of the study area. Therefore, flood mitigation measures need to be carried out to improve the drainage system for the suburban area
