    Abstrack: This research aimed to describe students' physics learning achievement who learned with Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) and to determine the significant influence in the sudents' physics learning achievement among Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) group with conventional learning group at SMA N 14 Pekanbaru . Type of this research is a quasi-experimental, with Intact Group Comparisson design. The sample of this research is students of XI IPA 4 that is applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) and students of XI IPA 1 that is with conventional learning. The data in this research is a score posttest of physics learning achievement and analysis with descriptive and inferensial analysis. There are significant differences between the outcomes of students in the class by applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) with the class that implements conventional learning. The analysis of data showed absortion of student in the class by applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) is higher than the class that implements conventional learning. The absorption and learning effectiveness in class experiment is 84,85 with good and effective categori.With thus be concluded that the application of Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) can increasing students' physics learning achievement at class XI IPA SMA N 14 Pekanbaru in effort and energy topic

    Pengembangan E-modul Berbasis Literasi Sains pada Materi Radiasi Elektromagnetik

    This research aims to produce e-module based science literacy that is feasible to use. The subject of this research is e-module based science literacy on electromagnetic radiation lesson. This research used Research and Development method with type 4D. Stages of developing this e-module based science literacy include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instrument used is the Science Literacy Validation Scoring Sheets. The validation results of e-module based science literacy on electromagnetic radiation lesson from all aspects have a percentage 86.96% with very decent category. Thus, e-module of physics learning based on science literacy is feasible to be used as a supporting teaching material, as well as basic teaching materials on electromagnetic radiation lesson for grade XII of Senior High School students

    This study aims to describe and know differences in student learning outcomes by applying active strategies of verbal soccer. The type of research used is Pre-ekspremental with intact-group comparison design. The population of this study were students of class XI IPA MAN Kampar amounted of 70 students consisting 2 classes, each control class and experiment class. The data in this study is the score of student learning outcomes obtained after active learning of verbal soccer and analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that there are differences in student learning outcomes that apply the active learning strategy of verbal soccer with conventional class. The average absorptive capacity of the class that implements the active learning strategy of verbal soccer is 80.79%, while the absorption rate of the conventional class is 72.79%. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of the active strategy of verbal soccer can improve student learning outcomes class XI IPA MAN Kampar

    This research aims to describe and differentiate the cognitive learning result physics science between the implementation of cooperative learning type talking chips group with conventional learning group. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with a intact group comparison design. Population in this research is all of VIII classes with 198 students. Meanwhile the samples are 29 students in VIII A as control class and 29 students in VIII B as experiment class. The instrument of data in this research is a score cognitive performance test which consists of 20 multiple choice items. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to determine the performance of the physics cognitive learning through the criteria of absorption and effectiveness of learning. The inferential analysis was used to differentiate a cognitive learning considerably using independent samples t-test. The analysis data shows: the average absorption of the experiment class is 80% of the higher in category, and declared effective learning efficiently. Meanwhile the average absorption of the control class 74.83%. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementation of cooperative learning type talking chips can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom VIII MTs Daarun Nahdhah Tawalib Bangkinang Kampar

    Abstrack: This research aimed to describe students learning result by applying approach open-ended problem. Type of this research is a pre-experimental, with intact-group comparison design. The population and sample of this research is students class VIII at SMPN 17 Pekanbaru, total of 240 students. Sample of this using two class with technik random sampling, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of absorption and effectivity learning physics by implementation of approach open-ended problem and analysis of the data uses descriptive analysis. The result of this research, score absorption and effectivity of students there is a difference, score average absorption and effectivity is 74,5 % at experimental class and then 62 % at control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation approach open-ended problem able to improve the learning result of student at SMPN 17 Pekanbar

    Penelitian in bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I dengan menggunakan prosedur heuristik. Upaya pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) perencanaan berupa penetapan aksi, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan yaitu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan prosedur heuristik, (3) melakukan pengamatan (observasi) dan (4) analisis efektifitas tindakan (refleksi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa cenderung meningkat pada setiap siklus. Kemampuan analisis soal meningkat 41%, kemampuan transformasi soal meningkat 47,5%, kemampuan operasi hitung meningkat 47%, kemampuan pengecekan dan interpretasi hasil meningkat 40%. Tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa meningkat 16,6% dan rata-rata tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa setelah tindakan dengan menggunakan prosedur heuristik pada pembelajaran fisika dasar I pada kategori baik (70,65%), Kata kunci: pemecahan masalah, prosedur heuristi

    Dalam proses pembelajaran sering terjadi tidak tercapainya ketuntasan belajar. Ini disebabkan karena rencana pengajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar tidak jelas. Agar ketuntasan belajar dapat dicapai sesuai yang diharapkan, maka perlu dirancang rencana pembelajaran mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I. Di samping itu penyajian materi kuliah dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dapat ditingkatkan melalui alat bantu berupa pemakaian media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar tercapai pada setiap pokok bahasan, dan nilai akhir diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,45. Proses perbaikan pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa. Hal ini disebabkan oleh: 1) tersusunnya rencana pembelajaran selama satu semester; 2) adanya hand out untuk mahasiswa; 3) Kuis (evaluasi) yang dilakukan setiap selesai pemberian materi; 4) Teknik penilaian yang transparan; dan 5) sarana/media yang mendukung. Supaya mahasiswa terarah dalam proses pembelajaran, disarankan kepada setiap dosen yang memegang mata kuliah untuk mempersiapkan rencana pengajaran (RP) atau satuan acara perkuliahan (SAP).     This research aims to describe outcome of process skills and scientific attitudes students in tenth grade of Dharma Loka Senior High School Pekanbaru using KIT IPA on Matter and Heat topic. The method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design and was conducted by the research design One Shot Case Study. Data collection instrument in this research is the process skills test and scientific attitude questioners. Analysis of the data in this research is a descriptive analysis for describe process skills and scientific attitudes. From the analysis of process skills data showed: the average absorption is 82 % with good category; effectiveness is 82% is categorized effective learning; completeness learning material is 100% with complete category. While analysis of the data in scientific attitudes is 81% with very good category. So it can conclude that outcome of process skills and scientific attitudes students in tenth grade of Dharma Loka Senior High School Pekanbaru using KIT IPA at Matter and Heat topic is very good
