The Role of Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil in The Economic Empowerment of Poor Women in Cianjur District
This study aims to analyze BMT's role in poor women's economic empowerment in the Cianjur Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using economic and sociological approaches. This research's data sources are primary data obtained from BMT and interviews and secondary data from library research. Furthermore, the data collection method is carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation for further analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that BMT played a role in empowering the economy of women. Their income increases so that they can meet their daily needs and become more independent. Besides, they became smarter in managing finances and began to be actively involved in household decision making. Empowerment of women can improve women's welfare and independence in various aspects of life, particularly the economy. THE INFLUENCE OF ISLAMIC CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND INTERNAL CONTROL ON INDICATIONS OF FRAUD IN ISLAMIC COMMERCIAL BANKS IN INDONESIA
This article aims to analyze the implementation of ICG (Islamic Corporate Governance) and Internal Control on indications of fraud at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The method used in this study is to use quantitative analysis with technical data analysis using multiple linear regression. The data used is secondary data obtained from Islamic banking financial reports, amounting to 60 data. The conclusion in this article is the influence of Islamic Corporate Governance which is proxied by the variables of the implementation of DPS duties and responsibilities, the performance of duties and responsibilities of the board of directors, and internal control, on the dependent variable, namely, the indication of fraud in Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia of 46.1 percent while the rest 53.9 percent is influenced by other factors which are not used in this stud
POTENSI EKONOMI DESA MENUJU DESA MANDIRI (Studi di Desa Sukamanah Kecamatan Karangtengah Kabupaten Cianjur)
The purposes of this study are to describe the economic potential of the village to an independent village, and to determine the factors that support and inhibit encountered in developing of the economic potential ofSukamanah Village. The qualitative method was used in this study an interactive model was used as data analysis techniques. The results show that there are six sectors of the economic potential of rural village in Sukamanah; agriculture, fishery, trading, farming and forestry, animal husbandry and creative economy. Meanwhile, the main supporting factors are the infrastructure condition and the establishment of farmer groups (gapoktan). The inhibiting factors are: the vast majority of farmers in the village of Sukamanah who are not as the land owner, but as a laborer; there is almost no regeneration of farmers; the number of farm workers decreased each year; the distribution of crops farmers cannot be directly sold into the market but it must pass through a broker; and the reduction of productive land in the village of Sukamanah.
Implementation of Corporate Governance in Fraud Prevention in Islamic Banking
The purpose of this article is to analyze the implementation of Bank Indonesia regulations on corporate governance for Islamic banking so as to avoid fraud. The research method in this article is a qualitative research method. The data sources of this article are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from field research on several Islamic banks, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPK) who were respondents. The secondary data in the form of legislation regarding corporate governance and those related to sharia banking corporate governance, also data on research results from international journals, as well as other relevant literature. The results of the study show that the regulations issued by Bank Indonesia regarding corporate governance for Islamic banking are not in accordance with the provisions of positive law and Islamic law, and there are provisions that allow fraud. Because there is no philosophical basis, there are weaknesses in some juridical aspects, and contain sociological weaknesses

Pengaruh Tingkat Modal, Kualitas Pelayanan dan Pengambilan Keputusan Pembelian terhadap Laba Usaha Pedagang Muslim di Pasar Induk Cianjur
Islam sebagai agama yang mengatur seluruh aspek kehidupan termasuk masalah ekonomi. Dalam masyarakat Islam, umat muslim wajib bekerja karena Islam melarang mengemis dan menyuruh umatnya untuk mencari nafkah bagi kehidupan keluarganya, termasuk para pedagang muslim di Pasar Induk Cianjur. Pedagang muslim di Pasar Induk Cianjur berjumlah 2.372 orang dengan rincian 2.300 orang dikategorikan sebagai pedagang kecil, 62 orang pedagang menengah dan 10 orang pedagang besar. Padahal, secara teori ketika jumlah pedagang muslim dengan kategori pedagang kecil jumlahnya banyak akan diikuti pula oleh pedagang muslim dengan kategori pedagang menengah dan pedagang besar. Hal ini, tentu saja dikarenakan ada beberapa faktor yang berkenaan dengan masalah tersebut yaitu tingkat modal, kualitas pelayanan, pengambilan keputusan pembelian dan laba usaha pedagang muslim, sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melaksanakan penelitian terhadap masalah tersebut.
Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh tingkat modal (X1) terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim (Y), pengaruh kualitas pelayanan (X2) terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim (Y), pengaruh pengambilan keputusan pembelian (X3) terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim (Y) dan pengaruh tingkat modal (X1), kualitas pelayanan (X2) dan pengambilan keputusan pembelian (X3) terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim (Y) di Pasar Induk Cianjur.
Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tentang tingkat modal yaitu peraturan daerah Kabupaten Cianjur nomor 02 Tahun 2004 tentang Pendaftaran Usaha di Bidang Perdagangan (SIUP). Teori tentang kualitas pelayanan dengan dimensinya yaitu: tangible,reliability, responsiveness,assurance dan empathy. Teori tentang pengambilan keputusan pembelian dengan dimensi brand, quality, quantity, utility dan price. Teori tentang laba usaha pedagang muslim dengan dimensi penerimaan, pengeluaran, keuntungan, laba, rugi dan break event point.
Dilihat dari tujuannya, penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian eksplanatoris (explanatory research). Dikatakan demikian, karena penelitian ini menghubungkan 4 (empat) variabel, yaitu tingkat modal sebagai variabel bebas (X1), kualitas pelayanan sebagai variabel bebas (X2), dan pengambilan keputusan pembelian (X3), sedangkan laba usaha pedagang muslim sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Selanjutnya untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat modal, kualitas pelayanan dan pengambilan keputusan pembelian di Pasar Induk Cianjur dilakukan pengujian hipotesis dengan membandingkan antara t tabel dengan t hitung (uji t dan uji F). Demikian pula, untuk mengetahui pengaruh tiap-tiap variabel X1, X2 dan X3 terhadap Y dilakukan analisis korelasi dan regresi linear berganda.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengaruh tingkat modal terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim sebesar 0,238, sehingga jika diasumsikan ada penambahan Rp. 1.000.000 modal usaha, maka akan menambah laba usaha Rp. 238.000. Pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim sebesar 0,296, sehingga jika diasumsikan kualitas pelayanan bertambah, maka akan menambah laba usaha Rp. 296.000. Pengaruh pengambilan keputusan pembelian terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim sebesar 0,360, sehingga jika diasumsikan ada penambahan konsumen sebanyak 10 orang, maka akan menambah laba usaha sebesar Rp. 360.000. Sedangkan pengaruh antara tingkat modal, kualitas pelayanan dan pengambilan keputusan pembelian terhadap laba usaha pedagang muslim di Pasar Induk Cianjur simultan berdasarkan perhitungan regresi linear berganda yaitu sebesar 36,1%
Determinants of Halal Business Practices in Muslim Minority Countries: Evidence from Finland
Halal business practices are developing in majority-Muslim countries and within companies in Muslim minority countries such as Finland. It consistently shows an interest in developing the halal industry, as evidenced by the development of companies that practice halal business in these countries. This study examines the factors influencing halal company practices while offering halal goods or services in Finland, a nation with a large Muslim population. The surveys were given online and offline to Finnish businesses that have achieved halal certification as a data collection strategy. PLS-SEM, or partial least square-structural equation modeling, was used to analyze data from 32 replies. This study found that halal values and the spirit of innovation encourage Finnish companies to enter the halal business. In addition, companies' halal business practices in Finland are strongly influenced by the interaction between internal and external driving factors. Businesses in nations where Muslims make up the minority can be encouraged to engage in halal commerce in several ways. Individuals who are aware of halal's advantages, are drawn to innovation, are under external pressure to conduct halal business and have internal circumstances that allow them to view the halal business phenomena as a chance to advance their nation's commercial interests
Analysis of the Variables that Affect Bookstore Customer Satisfaction
Competition, which becomes more widespread, complex, and intense, drives companies to must be able to see the various opportunities that exist and to identify strategies for creating customer satisfaction. As an example of a company must be able to produce products with good quality, reasonable price, facilities, and companies are able to create a positive image in the eyes of consumers. This strategy is quite important in facing the competitive level of competition with rival firms. This research is aimed to analysis simultaneously or partially positive effect of the facilities, prices and corporate image on customer satisfaction, as well as analyzing the most dominant variable in effecting bookstore customer satisfaction. Data used in this research are primary data from Tmbookstore customer in Cianjur city, West Java Indonesia, which were collected from respondents using valid and reliable questionnaire. A total of 100 respondents were selected from Tmbookstore visitors by accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Results of the research indicate that product, price, location, and simultaneously affect to bookstore consumer satisfaction. Partially, only two of the three variables that affect bookstore consumer satisfaction namely price and company image. Image of the company is the most a dominant impact on bookstore customer satisfaction
Development of Consumption and Supplying Energy in Indonesia's Economy
One of the problems faced by Indonesia is the increasing energy consumption and tend to be wasteful, while the fossil energy reserves are depleted and the development of alternative energy is slow, so it is feared Indonesia experiencing energy crisis. The purpose of this article is to analyze the development of consumption and energy supply in Indonesia from 2007-2017. Data analysis in this research is by using combination between trend analysis and descriptive analysis. So the conclusion of this article shows that energy consumption in all sectors, namely industrial sector, household sector, transportation sector, commercial sector and other sectors tend to increase from year to year. Meanwhile, overall energy supply tends to increase, but with a smaller increase than the increase in consumption. And to overcome energy problem in Indonesia is needed energy conservation that is by conducting energy saving campaign, determination of energy conservation law, and establishment of energy conservation center. Furthermore, the Indonesian government should have a long-term plan to divert the use of energy from non-renewable sources to renewable energy use, such as the use of water, wind, biomass, biodiesel, biogas and other sustainable energy sources.
