Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar Menulis Paragraf melalui Pendekatan Konstekstual
This study aims to: (1) develop and improve the lesson planning, (2) describe the implementation strategy of teaching paragraph writing, (3) describe how to evaluate learning to write a paragraph, (4) describe the increase the score of the paragraph writing skills of students through contextual approach.The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles.The conclusion of this study are: (1) the lesson planning was developed through contextual approach, (2) the observation of the lecturer on the A2 class cycles 1, 2, and 3 are 1248 (enough), 1294 (enough), 1545 (good) and B2class are 1214 (enough), 1300 (enough), 1558 (good). A2 class students' activities cycles 1, 2 and 3 are 9 (45%), 11 (55%), 20 (100%), B2 class are 8 (40% ), 12 (60%), 20 (100%).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menyusun dan memperbaiki perencanaan pembelajaran (2) mendeskripsikan strategi pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis paragraf, (3) mendeskripsikan cara mengevaluasi pembelajaran menulis paragraf, (4) mendeskripsikan peningkatan nilai keterampilan menulis paragraf mahasiswa melalui pendekatan kontekstual. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilakukan dalam 3 siklus.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Satuan Acara Perkuliahan (SAP) disusun melalui pendekatan kontekstual, (2) pengamatan terhadap dosen pada kelas A2 siklus 1, 2, dan 3 adalah 1248 (cukup), 1294 (cukup), 1545 (baik) dan kelas B2 adalah 1214 (cukup), 1300 (cukup), 1558 (baik). Aktivitas mahasiswa kelas A2 siklus 1, 2 dan 3 adalah 9 (45%), 11 (55%), 20 (100%), kelas B2 adalah 8 (40%), 12 (60%), 20 (100%)
Formulasi Dan Uji Mutu Fisik Lotion Antinyamuk Minyak Sereh Wangi (Cymbopogon Nardus L Rendle.) Dengan Kombinasi Minyak Nilam (Pogostemon Cablin Benth.)
Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai Formulasi dan uji mutu fisik lotion antinyamuk Minyak Sereh Wangi (Cymbopogon nardus (L) Rendle) dengan kombinasi Minyak Nilam ( Pogostemon cablin Benth.). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang membuat formulasi lotion antinyamuk yang mengandung minyak Sereh Wangi(Cymbopogon nardus (L) Rendle) dengan kombinasi Minyak Nilam ( Pogostemon cablin Benth.) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat formulasi lotion antinyamuk yang mengandung minyak Sereh Wangi (Cymbopogon nardus (L) Rendle.) dengan kombinasi Minyak Nilam ( Pogostemon cablin Benth.) dengan penambahan 2 emulgator dengan berbagai konsentrasi yang menghasilkan lotion antinyamuk yang stabil. Formulasi lotion yang mengandung minyak Sereh Wangi dibuat dalam tipe minyak dalam air dengan variasi konsentrasi emulgator Asam stearat 10%, 15%, dan 20% sedangkan varisi konsentrasi TEA 2%, 3%, dan 4%. . Pengujian stabilitas lotion meliputi pengujian organoleptis, pH, daya lekat dan daya sebar. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap Formulasi lotion antinyamuk yang minyak sereh wangi(Cymbopogon nardus (L) Rendle.) dengan kombinasi Minyak Nilam ( Pogostemon cablin Benth.) maka dapat diketahui bahwa lotion dengan konsentrasi minyak Sereh Wangi10% ,Minyak Nilam ( Pogostemon cablin Benth.) 10 % dan asam stearat10% dan TEA 2%(formulasi 1 ) asam stearat 15% dan TEA 3% ( formula II ) dan asam sterat 20% dan TEA 4% ( formula III ) menghasilkan lotion yang stabil secara fisik
Inspection of Drinking Water Quality on the Regional Preparation of Zona Air Minum Prima (Zamp) Pdam Tirta Musi Palembang
Background : Public access to water with quality ready to drink increased. This is important because the water borne disease can arise due to the water quality does not meet health requirements. This study aims to conduct inspections on the quality of the drinking water area at PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang. Method : This research uses crossectional design. Done with the examination of a number of laboratory. Result : Based on the results of the research note that the chemical parameters indicate that residue chlor level of 0,1-0,2 mg/l, nitrite level of 0,001-0,002 mg/l, ammonia content of 0,05-0,1 mg/l, iron content 0 mg/l, mangan content of 0 mg/l, pH of 6,45-7,01 and carbon dioxide content of 3,52-6,16 mg/l. Physical parameters indicate that the temperature level of 27,7-29,4 °C, turbidity level of 0,53-0,94 NTU, not smelly and does not odour, TDS level of 36-42,1 mg/l, conductivity level of 76, 7-84,3 mS/m. Bacteriological parameters shows total E.Coli 0 by 100 ml sample. Conclusion : Based on this research conclude that water is distributed on the regional preparation of ZAMP PDAM Tirta Musi (prime water drinking zone) meet health requirements and can be drunk directly. Recommended to maintain the quality of drinking water and complete the repair of pipes network
Emergent Facilitation and Glassy Dynamics in Supercooled Liquids
In supercooled liquids, dynamical facilitation refers to a phenomenon where
microscopic motion begets further motion nearby, resulting in spatially
heterogeneous dynamics. This is central to the glassy relaxation dynamics of
such liquids, which show super-Arrhenius growth of relaxation timescales with
decreasing temperature. Despite the importance of dynamical facilitation, there
is no theoretical understanding of how facilitation emerges and impacts
relaxation dynamics. Here, we present a theory that explains the microscopic
origins of dynamical facilitation. We show that dynamics proceeds by localized
bond-exchange events, also known as excitations, resulting in the accumulation
of elastic stresses with which new excitations can interact. At low
temperatures, these elastic interactions dominate and facilitate the creation
of new excitations near prior excitations. Using the theory of linear
elasticity and Markov processes, we simulate a model, which reproduces multiple
aspects of glassy dynamics observed in experiments and molecular simulations,
including the stretched exponential decay of relaxation functions, the
super-Arrhenius behavior of relaxation timescales as well as their
two-dimensional (2D) finite-size effects. The model also predicts the
subdiffusive behavior of the mean squared displacement (MSD) on short,
intermediate timescales. Furthermore, we derive the phonon contributions to
diffusion and relaxation, which when combined with the excitation contributions
produce the two-step relaxation processes, and the
ballistic-subdiffusive-diffusive crossover MSD behaviors commonly found in

Representasi L'oreal dalam Iklan Berbahasa Perancis dan Indonesia (suatu Studi Komperatif)
The title of this research is The Representation L'Oreal in the Advertising of the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian (a Coomparative Lesson) which examines the process of the sign and the representation of meaning in the Advertising of L'Oreal which is the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian. The purpose of the research is to explain how the trial of the sign in advertising L'Oreal which is the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian and to know the representation of the meaning that is in the advertising of L 'Oreal which is the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian being based on the trial of the sign. The theory that is used in this research is the theory of semiotics by Charles Sanders Peirce who deviating from the reference to identify the process of the sign and the theory of representation to explain the meaning of the sign that is found in the advertisement that is analyzed. The data that is used comes from the website. The type of advertising that is analyzed as sampo, revitalift and hair color. The result of the analysis of this research shows that the sign in the advertisement is based on icon, India and symbol and the transmission of meaning in advertising can be passed by the representation being based on the text, Image and color in advertising. Halal Logo Branding to Attract Muslim Tourists
Purpose: The Halal logo is the brand of a tourist attraction for Muslim tourists. With the branding Halal, the visitors will assume if the food and drinks are Halal to eat or drink. This paper aims to introduce branding the Halal logo display on Halal tourism activities in Indonesia.

Theoretical framework: Â The approach used is communication semiotics. The data were obtained by an online-based survey of respondents who had travelled in Indonesia, particularly in tourist destination areas where the majority of the population was non-Muslim.

Findings: This paper concludes that the way tourists determine food and at least Halal is by finding a restaurant with a Halal logo, searching the internet about Halal restaurants, asking the hotel staff about Halal restaurants and asking friends or family who has visited the same tourist destination about Halal restaurants in the area to visit

Research, Practical & Social implications: Â The representation of Halal in a restaurant is the restaurants having a Halal certificate marked by a Halal logo label and those having no a Halal certificate with a Halal logo but offering Halal food.

Originality/value: Â This research contributed that the logo label represents Halal food although not all restaurants have Halal certificates. The Halal logo label is the branding that attracts Muslim tourists.
Reinforcing Quality of Higher Education in Digital Era: An Anthropology of Education Study About Strategy and Innovation of Development in Adab and Humanities Faculty, State Islamic University of Makassar
The challenge for education, especially higher education today in Indonesia, is the necessity to adapt toward the development of the era in order to be able to compete globally. In the digital era, higher education is faced with several challenges and opportunities. The process of socio-cultural adaptation of higher education which must still pay attention to the quality of human resources and responsibility to social life, especially for social science and humanity disciplines is a real challenge. However, despite these challenges, the presence of strategy and innovation in synergizing between education and the development of the digital era is a golden opportunity to have. The Faculty of Adab and Humanities is one of faculties at State Islamic University of Makassar which has a main concentration on social science and humanities disciplines. In facing the development of the digital era, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities has strategies and innovations in developing the learning process. The aim of this research is to demonstrate the strategy and innovation of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities in developing the quality of education in digital era by using anthropology of education approach. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, with informants from the academic community at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. The results of this research indicate that there are strategies and innovations to develop the quality of higher education at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities in the digital era. Evaluasi Kinerja Internet Kampus Universitas Tanjungpura dengan Analisis Quality of Service dan User Acceptance Test
Paper ini membahas tentang evaluasi kualitas layanan internet di Universitas Tanjungpura. Penulis menggunakan dua metode analisis, yaitu Quality of Service (QoS) dan User Acceptance Test (UAT) untuk mengukur kinerja internet di kampus Universitas Tanjungpura. Pada analisis QoS, penulis mengukur beberapa parameter kinerja internet, seperti throughput, delay, packet loss, dan jitter, untuk setiap fakultas di kampus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa throughput tertinggi berada di Fakultas Teknik (FT) dengan nilai rata-rata 87,90 MB, sementara delay dan packet loss terendah terdapat di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) dengan nilai rata-rata 0,16 ms dan 0,00% secara berturut-turut. Sementara itu, pada analisis UAT, penulis melakukan survei terhadap mahasiswa untuk mengetahui penggunaan internet di kampus dan kepuasan mereka terhadap layanan internet yang disediakan. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa menganggap internet di kampus memadai dan lancar, serta sering digunakan untuk belajar dan mengakses media sosial
